I enjoyed learning coding without any prior knowledge and I am really in love with coding and want to continue my learning. I also really appreciate Matt for his simple teaching. I strongly recommend this course to other persons.

Very good and creative. Loved the videos and the challenges. It was frustrating and tiring at times, coding is not easy but I am happy I learn something new, and maybe I can put it to use in the future. Overall, I particularly enjoyed the number of resources and pages available to us and the many opportunities to actually submit our projects. Assistance was also always there when I needed it. Thanks to the team for the experience.

I loved taking the SheCodes Basic Course. It is easy for one to follow with the videos that are available as well as the challenges and homework we had to do. You get to do it in your own pace and it ignited this new found passion I have for coding. I cannot wait to move on to the next workshop.

when I first joined, I was skeptical about it but when my journey started I fell in love with coding even more, now I can code, create a landing page.

I took computer science classes in undergrad and fell in love with coding. As I went on to pursue a career in business, I had less exposure to coding and I really missed it. I even considered going back to school for it but I didn't want to give up my life and savings to accomplish that goal.. until I found this. The module is well thought out and well explained. It's easy to follow along and set your own pace to match your lifestyle. I remember reading the testimonials myself thinking.. 'does this actual work?' and now I can tell you.. it does. If you're thinking about doing it, you've wanted to do it. Do it. Start small and see if its for you. The best gift you can give yourself is education and opportunity. Go for it.

I've tried soooo many free coding classes, ranges from live classes to online class. But SheCodes is by far the easiest to understand and the most fun I had in coding. It honestly motivated me to pursue my dream to become a software developer. will definitely continue learning with SheCodes. LOVE IT

Great workshop! Loved it!

Hi. First of all, Shecodes did a great favor and and a nice move fir iranian women, letting them have the basics course for free. It was so heartwarming and made me realize I had a passion for coding. Matt, as the instructor, explains everything so simplely and easy to understand. The best part is that the videos are short and you can watch them a million times! Coding is not those weird symbols that you see when you get an error! It's so much fun. I loved every second of it. Thanks Shecodes!

The SheCodes Basic program was an amazing dive into the world of coding! The video lessons were positive and encouraging, making it easy to get excited for each step of the process. The homework was fun and intuitive to follow; I love that we were thrown into JavaScript right away! I can't wait to learn more & continue with the next workshops 💜

Once I completed the SheCodes Basics workshop, I knew I wanted to keep this journey going and enroll in the next one. It is definitely an amazing course. The first course in JS which was clear to me. Before I used to drop off the courses as I felt stuck and not understanding anything. As for this course, I was passionate about it and excited about the challenges and homeworks. Frankly saying, just before this course I decided that programming is not my thing, but I decided to give it a last chance with SheCodes and you know what, I am again in love with programming and full of motivation and enthusiasm. I really enjoyed this React course, I found that I was able to really apply all of the knowledge I learned here and in the previous courses. It was challenging learning this new framework but fun to figure out how it works and I loved being able to create two projects in this course!

Loved it! Super easy to follow, great fun. My only thing was that, while I understand it's Mr Delac's programme and greatly admire his mission, it seems a bit discordant that it is a man teaching all the coding classes to women. Perhaps it might be worth thinking about re-recording the classes with women coders who are now in the SheCodes company. Something which could also have been done for the latest release of the new workshop.

I like the course structure since it keeps me motivated to finish the work. I would love to have some additional material on other approaches to the problems.

I enjoyed this basics course so much. I was a total beginner, had no idea what "writing code" was. Matt explains things short, sweet, and to the point. Very easy to follow along. Plus: I love the girly aesthetic of the website!😁

My work has progressively led me down a more tech-based path. I was frustrated with navigating unfamiliar software, managing websites, and learning the correct language to describe navigation issues with support persons. I signed up for the SheCodes free course, and it planted a seed. Not only is it creating ease in communication with our technology support persons, but it's also feeding my creativity and love of problem-solving. I am so happy I had the opportunity to take the Basic Course and am even more excited for the next eight weeks for the Pro Course.

I was kind of nervous going into this but I love this way of learning. Everything was explained perfectly without any confusion. I enjoyed completing my projects and challenges.

I love this course - it definitely pushed me especially in the Javascript area, definitely need to practice that part more but Matthieu goes through everything well.

I love how flexible this program was with my busy schedule! I barely had to utilize the Slack chat to get answers to my questions because this workshop was laid out so nicely - very user-friendly. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to learn the basics of front-end coding.

I have loved the she codes basics workshop. It has been very interactive. I cannot believe how much I have learned with just this short 3 weeks course. I look forward to learning more through the other workshops.

At times, SheCodes was intense but I had so much fun! I loved seeing others chat and upload their questions on Slack when they got stuck or when they figured out a problem they were having. I felt a huge sense of camaraderie amongst these talented women as we all came together to figure out a problem. I've learned so much during these three weeks and excited to explore more of the coding world!

SheCodes Basics really helped be dive into coding..and I absolutely love it! I knew nothing about coding before taking Matt's class and now I am wanting to change careers 😅 Matt is a really thorough instructor with lots of helpful insights.

LOVED this beginner course! Instructions were clear, and all of the information taught was easy to digest and very useful in building my foundation in coding. I am a full-time employee, but this course is flexible enough for me to follow along and not fall behind.

I absolutely loved the SheCodes Workshop. I was scared learning how to code because the codes were unfamiliar to me. However, Matt explained everything step-by-step how to use each programming language. Also, I really enjoyed the challenges. I feel like I learned a great deal from this workshop and I am appreciative of the opportunity.

I find this workshop very helpful as an introduction to coding. It nicely breaks down all the basics I needed to start learning to code. I recommend this Basic-workshop to anyone unsure if they would be interested to learn and just want to try things out. I also love the part where Matt touch on the subject of where to find answers, for example, MDN and how to solve issues yourself. But then again in my opinion it is introductory.

I've always been more of an outdoorsy nerd than a computer geek, but SheCodes might just convert me! I started the workshop with zero coding knowledge whatsoever and found it very easy to follow along with the lessons. I enjoyed the challenges and projects and loved that Matt pushed us to do some creative problem solving in each of the assignments. Looking forward to using my skills in the real world!

As a person who loves learning, this was the best! Matt is a gifted intstructor who will guide you into the world of coding with great ease and fun. At times, I felt like he was speaking to me in person, as he was predicting the mistakes I was going to make! SheCodes React was, I think, the most challenging course for me, but yet the most exciting one! I have built two real-life projects step by step with instructor Matt Delac. I loved the lectures from the beginning where complex code became simple and understandable. And this is where the magic happens. Incredible team support on Slack if you are stuck or get confused. I want to say thank you to Matt and the team for this opportunity. Now I know in what direction to keep moving and grow and try my first independent projects!

I am learning so much from Matt. I love his enthusiasm for coding. That is the best kind of teacher. If your teacher is excited about what they do, then you will be too. He also makes you have faith that you will accomplish the task at hand. The assignments challenge me to figure things out and when I solve the problem, I feel a sense of accomplishment. Loved the Plus Workshop as well. It was way more complex than the Basic, but it definitely opened my appetite for learning programming languages! I will continue to expand my knowledge and maybe even go further with the next workshop. Don't hesitate to try new things - cause it's worth it!

I loved this course. This is everything that I wanted to learn more about as a front-end designer. I love that we leave the class with a completed portfolio website - I've been trying to get mine off the ground for months and this helped push me over that threshold. Can't wait to continue using these skills!

As someone who never touched javascript before, it was a definite eye-opener of an experience of how simple making an interactable page is~ It's amazing how easy it is to get help when you're working on the different challenges each week. Love the simplicity of each course and can't wait to dive into the next workshop!

SheCodes has been an incredible experience! I am mostly bedridden and have very limited mental energy due to ME/CFS, but Matt's lessons are simple and enjoyable. Plus the program was very flexible with extensions when I was in health flares. It felt sooo good to actually learn a new skill and feel productive again! I missed that feeling! Also, I love knowing that if my health improves enough to actually stay awake during the day, I now have very desirable skills for a job that I could even do in bed! Thanks SheCodes!
