I loved learning on shecodes. It made coding so much fun, as with each new lesson there came a fun challenge. It felt like playing a game, with new levels to unlock. Getting to the final stretch and finishing the weather application felt very accomplishing!

I'm so glad I chose to begin my path to coding professionally with SheCodes, the teaching style makes concepts so much simpler even if you've already got a little basic knowledge. Some of the projects and workshops have been really challenging, however there's always the support to find the solution and get your code to work the way you want. They've created a lovely balance between keeping you on point, but still having the freedom to experiment and do more.

I have really enjoyed these classes. I love that there are projects that you can do for each lesson and a final project to test your knowledge. The projects get graded quickly and with great feedback. You can also ask for help if you are stuck on one of the projects.

I loved this course and I loved building the world clock, it did more in-depth JavaScript features which I love and can prepare me for when I get a job.

I've always been intimated by coding, or anything pertaining to tech to be honest (the behind the scenes portion of it), but after taking SheCodes Basics workshop, I was less intimidated and more open to the idea of exploring tech as a career shift. I loved the flexibility of the courses, you can go at your own pace which is needed sometimes, but I also liked the idea of a push (deadlines). I plan to further my knowledge in coding with SheCodes when the time is right 😊. I recommend this for anyone that wants to learn the basics or maybe testing the waters to see if a career in coding is for you.

SheCodes add-on project was so nice. Glad for the gift of the SheCodes. Learnt a lot of things from CSS transform to CSS Grid to HTML Class Manipulation and then crowning it all with adding of Dark theme to a webpage. Love it all.

Adding and polishing the skills learnt from the Basics workshop was very interesting. I loved seeing everything come together, and I feel more confident in my coding abilities.

I absolutely loved the SheCodes Python Advanced program! The course was super easy to follow, especially after completing the earlier SheCodes courses, as it seamlessly blended with the overall curriculum. The AI course was truly unique and inspiring. As someone who loves cooking and often feels homesick while living abroad, I’ve always wanted to incorporate AI into a recipe-making project. Creating an Indonesian Recipe Generator felt like the perfect choice—it allows me to share my culture and passion for cooking with friends and family. Thanks to this project, it’s now so easy to help others try making authentic Indonesian dishes themselves.

The Responsive Plus workshop, like all the other SheCodes workshop that I have taken, is chock full of solid skills which any Front End Developer definitely needs to be good and efficient. I have loved creating this project, from Figma to Screen - and then I enjoyed tweaking it to show off a subject which I am VERY excited about: Patagonia. Thankyou to Matt and the entire She Codes team for a well paced and well thought out programme and for all the technical help along the way.

I recently completed the SheCodes AI Workshop, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results! This course introduced me to the fascinating world of artificial intelligence in a way that was approachable, interactive, and truly empowering. The lessons were well-structured, breaking down complex AI concepts into bite-sized, manageable pieces. From understanding natural language processing to building my own AI-powered applications, every step of the journey was hands-on and practical. The final project, where I built a Love Poem Generator, was a true highlight — it felt amazing to turn my creativity into a functional app!

I really loved this course! I come from a fashion background and have never done coding or anything tech related but it's something I've wanted to try for a while. Before discovering SheCodes, I looked into coding courses held at university institutions which are quite expensive. A lot of them were short courses and diplomas within Computer Science, Programming and Data Analytics which required additional years of studying, prerequisites in math (which is not my strong suit) and high tuition fees. This was discouraging as they didn't fit into my schedule and I didn't want to run the risk of paying high tuition fees on a course without truly knowing whether I'd enjoy it. The SheCodes Basics course was an easy and affordable way for me to decipher whether I would actually enjoy coding without committing to a full course which can be expensive and with the risk that I might not even enjoy it. As a first time coder, there were some challenges but nothing I couldn't resolve on my own and overall I had a lot of fun so I'm excited to continue my learning! I found Matt's video tutorials were engaging and easy to follow and I appreciate that he encourages you to look up solutions to issues you may encounter online - there are lots of resources! His teaching style suited my learning style with lots of guidance along the way.

Loved working on this project! As always easy to follow instruction videos, hands-on and it`s amazing what I`ve learned through the workshop. Imagine making a fully functioning weather app, knowing almost nothing about code only a few months back.

My first-ever API project was a success. I learned a lot from this workshop and would love to create more web pages using the knowledge I've gained here.

The SheCodes Basics Add-On was fantastic for practicing everything I had learned so far. I loved how the lessons were explained with an example, step-by-step. It made the lessons so much clearer and more practical.

When we started working on a Weather app during week one of SheCodes plus, the task seemed very intimidating. Especially the requirement to incorporate real time data. Matt did an excellent job breaking down the daunting task into comprehensible lessons. At the end of the course, my Weather app project no longer felt intimidating rather, it was quite fun to work with. It felt easy enough to work on, that I challenged myself to build two additional themes for the app. I love the challenges at the end of most lessons, testing frequently is one of the best ways to retain and recall new information.
