SheCodes Basic is a great starter workshop for beginners or even someone who has dabbled before but is looking for a refresher. I love the freedom to go at your own pace and the Slack channel that offers help whenever needed. I learned a lot in 3 weeks and am looking forward to taking the advanced courses next.

I loved doing the Plus course! It was a great progression from the previous course and I felt that I learnt a lot of comprehensive tools that I am able to apply to future projects!
The course material is beneficial and contains tips and small things one can't forget. I love to learn with Matt! He can make even a boring theme enjoyable, like resume writing. It is absolutely a game-changer course. I highly recommend it for any job-seeker (not just for developers). I will revisit it in the future when I look for jobs again.

Amazing that you just after 8 weeks are able to build a simple website. Some parts of coding can be challenging, but I love that the languages have a clear structure and logic to them. And together with HTML and CSS, you can be very creative.
I absolutely love the SheCodes Basics Course. I have always been intimidated by coding but this course made everything so easy to understand and I enjoyed the challenges.
Great workshop! I had some delays due to illness/moving/life in general, but I got it finished in the end (thanks to extensions!) and am very happy with the result. I love the style of teaching in these videos, and I'm excited to continue on to the next workshop when I have a little more time! I am looking forward to learning more about React and other in-demand skills.

I loved working on this project and the freedom to choose any topic we are passionate about. Ever since I remember, I have been inspired by creative people, those who seem to be thinking differently , those who bring fresh ideas in the world, while being immersed in the world. I think that this way of living is extremely interesting. I dedicated this project to some of the creative minds I have learned from to listen, see and think.
Absolutely loved the Responsive course. I already did SheCodes Basic and Plus, and Responsive is my favorite one so far! Learning all the Bootsrap tricks, deploying the website to Github, transforming a Figma design into code, and improving overall coding skills really make this programming journey rewarding. I learned a lot and really enjoyed creating the Portfolio webpage, so much that I even created two: my personal portfolio page, and an artist page. The course is very well constructed β the instruction videos by Matt are concrete and easy to follow, and are a really clear explanation for the corresponding homework assignments. When getting stuck, it was really easy to reach out to tutors and get all the help I needed on Slack, a special thanks for that!

It was awesome, I loved the explanation and then the challenge! Besides just the challenge! It's also refreshing; you practice a lot to keep the knowledge. Loved this workshop it was really fun learning how to make a weather app functional and have a new project for my portfolio.
SheCodes is really well structured, with short lessons and challenges after each lesson, it gives you the right pace and constance, keeping your attention span high and, mostly, your motivation to keep going and always want to learn more and more. No need to sit glued to your chair taking boring, hours-long lessons that get you nowhere... Coding is mostly PRACTICE and Matt knows it well, taking the education system to another level: smart, fun and productive, focusing on quality over quantity, as lessons are short but they give you ALL the tools you need to start coding on your own. SheCodes learning path is as simple as it is effective, and it is "programmed" for literally anyone. In only three weeks I was able to build a project which I really love and I am very proud of. I had such a fun week during the Responsive add-on. I felt I was able to learn something very useful through the real life project which I really love to design, color etc. I can get more creative with these skills and enjoy coding everyday. I don't know what is coming for the React add-on weeks however, I believe I will be happy to learn more!
Loved the flexibility of this certificate. I took the course during the holidays (and my birthday) and had a lot going on so I loved that I could extend the time I needed to complete the course. I went in with ZERO coding experience and feel pretty good about this first step into my coding journey.
I learned a lot during these 8 weeks, the structure and pace of the course can be challenging but the many interesting exercises make the learning process smoother and help structurize all the newly acquired information and skills. The final project - a practical weather app - helped me further fall in love with coding
I LOVED SheCodes Responsive. It's really exciting to learn how to make content responsive, especially in this mobile device heavy world. It was really fun being able to build a functional personal website as well. As always, Matt did a fantastic job at clearly explaining everything but allowing you to put your own spin on the project as well.

This course was a blast! I enjoyed learning all the different topics but most of all I loved creating something from scratch. The deadlines were extremely helpful for completing the course and learning consistently.

I have had so much enjoyable time learning react with SheCodes; I had tried to learn react with Youtube videos, spent months on them, not much of a progress or a good foundation I could get...and here, thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, in nearly 2 weeks I could understand everything! Loved that we built the same app that we completed with J.S.; this way the differences got noticeable!
A great, challenging course! Matt is an excellent teacher - the material was concise and easy to understand. I loved how well-structured the course is and the focus on practical/hands-on experience. It also helped that the course is self-paced and very flexible. It was fun building a webpage and learning in a supportive community. The Slack thread helped a lot. I don't think I would have had the motivation and guidance to learn coding by myself, so I highly recommend this course.
I never imagined I would be able to code the way I can now that I finished the course! I can't wait to keep learning more and hopefully start a career in the field. React took me longer than expected because I had another asthma relapse and was finally able to start my treatment, which meant a lot of traveling. Thankfully SheCodes has 3 forgiveness weeks where you can push back the course! This allowed me to finish REACT while being able to give myself time to recover! I loved that I was able to finish on my own time! SheCodes staff has been supportive every step of the way!
This is my first coding experience and I must say I really enjoy the course. I loved the daily challenges and the homeworks because they helped me a lot with the learning process. I can't wait to keep learning with SheCodes!
I loved learning how to upgrade my website and make it more like what I see today. Learning the basics was great, but this section took my website to the next level. I am able to send this to friends and family to test out, and now it'll forever be part of the world wide web. :)

I've never seen such training in my life. Not only am I enthusiastic about learning how to code, but I am also terrible at learning and memorizing them. It was unbelievable that I could stand watching the videos up to the end and follow the lessons without feeling tired. The time of each video is standard, and the way of training is lovely! I can only thank this group and their support for giving this chance to many of us using the lessons. Extra thanks to the team, who were always ready to help whenever I got stuck in coding.
I've learned so much from the shecodes basics. I love how I can work on my own pace following very easy to meet timelines. Having a 4 month old baby at home, I was worried but it is very possible. I am looking forward to continue learning with this program.
Never knew that coding would be this much fun!! I would do it all again if I could (minus the stress, and missing semicolons). The team was very helpful in helping me build my lovely portfolio!
Really loved the SheCodes plus basic add on! We had to use several different tools to build an amazing world clock that we can add to our portfolio (which wasn't easy at all) yet, very interesting and fun to build. Thank you so much Matt for teaching me so many different tools!

I would recommend because I have not learned more in any class than I have in 3 weeks in this workshop. I loved that I got to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in such short time. Matt made it very easy to understand. If any help was needed, slack was always there. However, I do feel that Matts explanation of the challenges and homeworks were more than enough to help you get an idea of how coding works.
I found the course SheCodes Basics course was a great start for beginners to test the waters in coding. The weekly deadlines helped me to stay on track, but I also liked the flexibility of being able to extend if needed. I loved that I could change the watch speed / pause / rewatch lessons and found that the SheCodes team were always fast to respond to my queries when they arose. I love how each step/lesson builds upon one another, while there was still room to search for more. The rigor is definitely there and the gamified order of the lessons makes you look forward to completing them and moving forward.

Learning React with SheCodes was as always fun and very informative. I loved that everything was divided in many small and well-explained steps. I gained a lot of knowledge from this course, and although I know I only scratched the surface of React, the foundation that's given at SheCodes was impressive.
I will be filled with the feeling of learning when I am inside of a capable a teacher, like Mr Delac! If like me you love to try and make new things, analyse and redesign them again be sure to participate in this workshop...I am now able to look out the wide window of sites and enjoy all that is in front of me...

The course was amazing! I loved the simple step by step tutorials that were bitesize and also practical. The best part was the final challenge where I could be creative and hone in the skills that I'd learnt. Overall, a great learning curve and I'd 100% recommend.

Over the last few years, I have been looking into new avenues to change my career path. I have always been fascinated with how websites are designed, or the required formulas to make them work. After years of thinking I would never be able to attempt to learn how they worked, I finally decided to try and understand. I never thought that I would fall in love with programming, but over the course of the Basic Workshop, I found myself wanting to spend learn more and more every day.
SheCodes was awesome! I loved having the flexibility of the extensions as I worked through the different challenges and projects during my busy schedule, and I also loved the step by step guidance of the videos. I thought coding was too hard for me and now I believe that I could pursue it if I really decide to! For now I have the basics and that will help me understand the foundation of coding.
