I love that they taught me how to create a landing page with a light and dark mode to display on my portfolio site.

The SheCodes basic workshop taught me a lot! If I have the money, I'd probably enroll in their other classes as well. I love how they provided this kind of aid for women in third-world countries. Each lesson is very easy to understand and you get to have a guide as you test the knowledge you've received.

After talking with some other individuals in tech, and how they learned coding basics, I was SO HAPPY with choosing SheCodes. The small lessons and weekly homework keep me engaged and I love that we repeat concepts over and over in different ways so it really sticks.

I absolutely loved this course! The pace was perfect for me because some weeks flew by while others I found more challenging. I have used the things learned in this course to start other projects too. I've finished my weather app and I'm really proud of it!

I have absolutely loved this course! I would struggle to find another course as helpful and as fun as this. I did this course as I am wanting to switch careers and I have ADHD, so doing this after work hours has been very manageable and very rewarding. Can't reccomend SheCodes enough!

SheCodes Basic Plus is a great addition to the previous workshops. I loved learning more in details the CSS grids, filters, and backgrounds. I was also pleasant to applied my knowledges in JS for the dark theme mode.

I loved continuing my learning journey with the Responsive workshop. Responsive is not an easy topic, but I feel like I now understand the basics of it and I'm ready to dive even deeper. The final project is a portfolio, which was a lot of fun to build and is going to be very helpful in my professional future.

I love the accountability which the weekly program offers, this means that I was more likely to stay committed. Another factor I enjoy is the fact you can easily revisit and rewatch videos, the support from Slack is super helpful and accessible. Matt teaches in a clear and playful way which makes the sessions enjoyable. I enjoy the focus on playing around with colour and design.

It was easy to follow and understand each step, especially the JS part. loved the idea that in each homework you can be creative and try new things. Thank you.

I have loved this course for the past 3 weeks. I've tried many coding courses before and found them stressful and hard to follow. But SheCodes was easy to follow and understand, the team is so helpful and supported if you get stuck! I will definitely be doing more courses in the future with SheCodes!

I absolutely loved this course! I think this course offers the perfect amount of theory and practice to get you inspired and motivated to learn to code and do the exercises. I have tried to learn html in the past but always abandoned as it seemed too complicated for me. And in just 3 weeks it gave me the confidence to build a simple website with html, css and Javascript.

I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take lots of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have found a new love in the world of coding and the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I cannot wait to see what's to come after this. I am a lot of things, a designer a model, a dreamer... the list could go on but ultimately I am a creative. A few months before this course I did some learning on freecodecamp.org and then moved to shecodes.io just to experiment with the idea before committing to an actual degree in Web Systems. I am currently studying in college and I am so much ahead in my courses I am taking all thanks to the help of SheCodes. I've taken some time in the world to decide what I want in life and within that process I found a love for coding. I specifically want to pursue a career in cloud computing. I also want to learn/experiment with the integration of animation in web sites. I look forward to learning more and plan to do many more workshops to further my knowledge! I am a stay at home mom and I was scrolling tik tok one night when I came across a video for She Codes. I am not computer or tech savvy at all. However I found it interesting and decided to watch the free 60 minute coding session. After that I started the She Codes Basic and I LOVED IT!!! The whole set up was great. I loved the short videos they were so easy to follow, and challenges were so fun. I am excited to start another workshop!!!

It's been a long time since I first started SheCodes. I did Basic, Plus, Responsive and had plans to start React. But unfortunately life doesn't go always as planned and motherhood and settling down in a new country ended up drifting me away from the course. But I always felt eager and anxious to get back to it. After one year away from all I decided to get back on track and get myself the Basic Addon course to slowly getting myself familiar again with all the content. And it really worked great! Was a great way to get myself going again and It felt natural and easy to follow. I am very happy to be back, and also am very happy to realize how much I really love coding. Can't wait to have more :)

These three weeks of coding have been amazing! As someone who didn't know a thing about coding such as HTML, Javascript and CSS, this has been a great way to educate myself about modern technology. One of my goals this year was to learn a new skill and coding has helped me to achieve this! It seemed challenging at first and I didn't know what the ending to this course would be but I've fallen in love with the skills of problem-solving, logical thinking and new ways of creativity!

I have to say that I REALLY LOVE this workshop! I appreciate that I get to apply the foundational skills taught in the earlier workshops and the advanced techniques learnt in the Plus and Responsive workshops. This opportunity of building my responsive portfolio made me fall in love with coding even more!

Learning to code was on my checklist and I am happy to check this off. I loved applying the learning from each lesson with an exercise, which also helped to remember them better. I loved that the course was flexible and allowed me to complete it at my convenience yet kept me motivated with weekly deadlines.

I am incredibly grateful Delac Foundation for this chance to change my future! I am in love with the workshops, all the information is structured, which is an essential thing in the learning process. All homework instructions are clear, in addition, I like homework because it always has a little secret and you need to use your brain to do it.

I loved learning how to make a website more responsive. I was able to use my skills to make a beautiful portfolio showcasing my best code.

When I first heard of "SheCodes" was on Instagram. I literally ignored it, I didn't know what it was exactly. When I saw it again on my feed, I saved it. Never looked back until December of 2022. I follow people on Instagram that does coding and I was always a fan of coding, I just didn't know exactly "How to code?". Since I like to learn new things, I decided I would give it a go. I did, started with Basic. I don't know but "I fell in love!" It's amazing how coding turns everything beautiful. I'm glad I gave it a go, now I can't wait to go higher and learn way more.

The Plus workshop was definitely challenging, but Matt's videos made it super easy and clear to follow. The SheCodes team on Slack also helped me out a lot, so I appreciate their hard work. I learned so much and pushed myself more than ever. I never thought I would be able to build anything like my Weather App project, but I love how it came out. I love this workshop!

SheCodes is a great platform to start learning how to code from scratch. The explanation is great, and the challenges are great to manifest what you just learned. I also love that you can get extensions (as a Mother, this was a lifesaver).

I never thought I would be this much into coding, but after this course, I am in love. Easy to follow and you learn a lot. Recommended!

I really loved the Responsive workshop. I had this weird prejudice (based on what I hear from experienced developers) that making a website responsive is way too tricky as well as boring, but guess what, it is actually pretty cool - because it's so much about digging deep, investigating, and trying this and that. Everything is explained clearly and straight to the point; I very much enjoyed following the suggested advice from Matt, as well as trying other ways I found googling. Turned out making a website responsive is not scary or boring, it's actually challenging and worthwhile!

SheCodes courses are an amazing opportunity for women! I would definitely recommend them to my friends. I love the way how everything is organized and looks user-friendly. If you want to start programming, SheCodes is something you should go for and start with. I enjoyed solving challenges and they helped a lot to revise things you have learned. I am really glad that I decided to take this course. I have been curious about coding for a long time and, as a PM on maternity leave, I was nervous about learning something new at the moment. Matt is a great teacher and the team does a fantastic job supporting you. I learned more than I expected and I was impressed to be able to build my first "landing page" after only 3 weeks. I loved the fact that the course`s structure pushes you to be creative and to try to find solutions yourself from day 1. After this introduction to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript I am definitely motivated to challenge myself in the future with more advanced classes!
