I absolutely loved this course! It gives you a solid foundation in HTML, CSS and JavaScript which you can then use to make your own projects. I thoroughly enjoyed all the challenges/homework and really loved the fact that not everything is 'spoon-fed' to you. You are encouraged to do your own research to figure out how to do things. Look forward to continuing onto the next course!

The Responsive Workshop, was the best and super easy, when working on the previous workshops, it always bothered me, how hard it would be to make a website responsive, on all types of platforms and SheCodes Responsive proved me, that getting the best results is way easier than I thought! 😱 Absolutely loved the Responsive Workshop! 🥰💖

Try not to be deterred by the intimidating sound of the word "coding"! For a very long time, I believed that I wasn't "smart" enough to code, but after overcoming that barrier with SheCodes, I discovered that I actually love it! Coding truly challenges that portion of my brain, which I adore puzzles. Start out slowly, maintain your curiosity, and keep practicing to become more at ease. There is no reason why you cannot learn this, as millions of individuals have done before you.

I love love love shecodes. Its an awesome place to learn coding and believe me have tried several places. From udemy to codeacademy to youtube but none beats shecodes. Shecodes made learning code so easy and fun. Its quite funny but i sometimes dream about bugs on my line of code then wake up thinking how to solve the bug i have or how to complete an assignment. I recommend shecodes 1000% for any one who is interested in learning how to code. Thank you.

Unfortunately I could not finish the course as fast as I planned because of some unexpected work duties. I am very grateful for the team that they could provide extra extension so I could finish it without overstressing it. In general I really loved the course, in these times it is essential to create responsive websites that look good in all devices and we learned to tools to do that.

I think if you're an absolute begginer -that was me- at coding this workshop is perfect for you to take off and lose your fear. I've found the course super fun, interesting and well explained. Loved the challenges, the homework and the final project, I think it's a very effective way of learning.

This course made me feel super confident on how to use React hooks! Matt's courses show how fun and simple it can be to quickly build very powerful applications. I loved it, and it will definitely help me with a summer internship where I will be using React.

I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!

She codes has helped me master my coding skills and it makes everything so easy that right now am addicted to coding. I love the experience and she codes is 10/10 totally recommended .I am just looking forward to more skills and opportunities!!!

This workshop is great to help you work through the different stages of coding. I loved the exciting challenges we get every week and I had a lot of fun building my final project.

As tricky as it was on some parts, not having the code running even when things seemed ok, i absolutely loved it. I think this is one of the best things anyone could ever come up with and the fact that its free is really top tier. i really appreciate the opportunity and i hope more women come across this and do it.

In my honest opinion, each workshop just seems to be better than the last. The world clock project in this add-on was beyond fun to code and also one that allowed me to stretch the skills that I have already picked up. I loved this challenging little project. I cannot wait to start the next workshop in this series.

I learned a lot in this add-on course. I loved learning more about what I could do with CSS and Javascript. This is a must to further your knowledge from the Basics workshop. I will be using what I learned to build my own personal blog on my website for sure!😉

SheCodes is a phenomenal platform for beginners. It provides all the necessary basics that one needs to understand coding. I truly enjoyed starting this coding journey and love learning new things daily.

I absolutely loved building a world clock and with my love for travel and all the places I'v been, it just hit home. I am looking forward to continue my coding journey as I just want to keep learning and trying new things and more knowledge to write cleaner code. As always, Matt is amazing with how he breaks things down and I just appreciate his honesty and great personality. As we're getting more advanced there is lots of trial and error and what a relief to hear Matt say that sometimes it can take an entire day to write two lines of code! I am 25 and a stay at home mom. I came across SheCodes on a social media platform. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. I really loved the React add-on project! I got a better understanding on how React works and everything seems to fall in place after i finished this project.

I loved this workshop! I already had some knowledge about HTML and CSS, but JS was something totally new to me. The way Matt explains everything is extremely effective, he uses simple examples to make you understand how every element works. I highly recommend this workshop, at the moment I work full time but, despite this, I managed to hit all the dead lines. This means that the course is well structured and let you study in your free time for a few hours per day.

I recently completed the SheCodes Plus workshop, and it was one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences I've ever had. Over the course of the program, I learned essential web development skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript,.. with more details. The instructors were incredibly knowledgeable and made the material easy to understand. One of the highlights of the workshop was learning about APIs and how to integrate them into my projects. Thanks to Matt and his team for this great opportunity. I had a lot of fun, it is great to have a challenge with most of the lectures to apply what you have learned and I loved to have actual results in the end that I can show to others. I started this course to get some basic knowledge in coding as I am trying to change careers into UX Design and be better equipped to talk to developers, but I might just change course completely and switch to coding ... I am not sure yet, the jury is still out there. But who knows?

This workshop was another challenge, it was easy to understand but also a bit difficult sometimes, but I loved every second of it.

I absolutely loved this course! Matt Delac's teaching style was engaging and refreshing. He uses easy-to-understand and relatable examples to explain some complicated concepts, especially in Javascript. I like how the course was structured, too. With practical exercises that I can complete independently. But also, having a deadline for each homework was helpful in preventing me from procrastinating.

I have always thought that coding is for some specific people. However, I decided to challenge myself and find out if I can learn it. I registered for Shecodes and I fell in love with it. I don't want to stop coding.

SheCodes Plus is a big step from SheCodes Basics, but in such a great way! So dense in information made approachable and comprehendible! I love love loved this course! Can't wait to continue learning with SheCodes.

I'm a recent Electronic and Electrical Engineering graduate from University College London (UCL). My journey into computer science started during my studies, where I delved deeply into Machine Learning. I loved it, so I decided to venture out and see what else there was to learn! I was looking for a bootcamp and then landed on the SheCodes workshops. I immensely enjoyed every minute of it. Not only was it a great introduction into web development but it helped me tap into my creativity. I built projects of my own alongside this course, using the knowledge from each lesson, which I'm very proud of. I'm looking forward to completing the entire bootcamp!
