I really loved this workshop.

SheCodes really took me to an amazing journey/ adventure, the discoveries are so wonderful which i never knew before now that i can understand, thank you Matt Delac (I love the way you breakdown complex works and made them simple) and all SheCodes support team - you guys made my dream of becoming a software developer come through. I started the coding workshop with no coding experience. At the beginning, it felt a bit overwhelming but having Matt as a teacher was really amazing. He always motivated us to try our best and simplified the coding languages for us. I love challenging myself and this was a good way of doing so while gaining a new skill set.

It was a great journey, loved it each and every part of the course!

I enjoyed this course and I would like to learn more.I made sure that I am interested in web development and I will try my best in the next course. I didn't feel like tried or bored while I was doing this course. I really love this one! Thank you for giving me scholarship.

Loved how the challenges were formatted! It really allowed for a good lead up to the homework assignments.

I loved learning about using Git and the API's it was a bit challenging but having patience and hard work I was able to finish and I loved working on the weather app it taught me a lot.

I was born in Minas Gerais Brazil, I lived many years in Portugal, today I'm living in the United Kingdom and here I believe that God gave me this opportunity to believe that we can always do a little more than we imagine. I am very grateful to God, my husband, my family and friends for all the support and motivation to do this course. I love being a mother, a wife, playing instruments, singing, organizing events, doing social work, using creativity. I have many work experiences, but this course has certainly made me dream more and more, it is a real challenge for me, but I am loving all this opportunity.

Growing up, I was always curious about how things were made and what made them run. When I discovered the internet, i wanted to know how it operate, i started learning how to operate computer but what will actually give me what i wanted to learn were very expensive. so i couldn't afford the classes. Again, Coding was seen as men's job in my community which everyone discouraged me but the zeal was still there. Years later, I stumble upon the SheCodes Workshop which offered me a chance to go back to my passion. This programm has given me skills such as a sense of community and focusing on what i love to do. And guess what? the workshop was offered to me for free. It was actually challenging with limited resources to buy date, however, my goal to continue learning and to complete the Workshop successfully kept me moving. SheCodes program has given me the confidence to continue learning. To every woman interested in pursuing a career in Coding, i urge them to take a leap, discover their potentials, and give their best. Its okay to fail, but its okay to stay down. I also advice anyone currently in the program to trust the process, stay motivated, and work with Matt and his team. It is a continues learning experience, and every day provides an opportunity to grow and discover new ways to make systems work better. I'm glade i mate Matt and his team. You guys are awesome. Thank you so much, Matt.

SheCodes Responsive 🤛... I am thrilled 🤩. It was such a great insight and experience acquired especially the design/development process (SDLC), making the project SEO friendly, also cross checking errors, debugging to make the application responsive on all devices was such an interesting learning journey. Tools used are HTML, CSS, Bootstrap utilities CSS, and others. And I would love to know more. A big thanks to #Matt Delac #Shecodes team #Shecodes Students/Alumini..... 🙏😁

The program is amazing, the support and tasks scheduling is perfect for a beginner. I found my learning to be smooth. I will definitely upgrade the workshop to equip myself with coding skills for my future career goal as a front end developer. Overall, I loved loved the program. I already recommended a friend!

SheCodes basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript for someone with zero coding experience. It felt good being able to complete the lessons and projects. The Slack community is very helpful and quick to answer your questions. Thanks to the SheCodes team, for a well structured program (plus I love that we're all girls learning new skills).

I loved this program! It was both super fun to complete as well as structured and informative. The deadlines help me to stay on top of my work and there's lots of resources provided to have continuous support. My skills progressed much faster than they have while trying other coding programs. I can't wait to get through all the other workshops SheCodes has to offer!

I love the structure of SheCodes workshops as you progress. Everything that I was curious about in SheCodes Basics was covered in SheCodes Basic Plus which was great! Working with JavaScript on this project was so insightful.

Starting this course as a complete beginner, I wasn't sure what to expect, but Matt explains everything so thoroughly and makes it very easy to understand. I love the flexibility of this course, the prerecorded workshops allows you to go at your own pace and without any pressure to be logged on at any specific time, which works well for my lifestyle and work schedule. I'm glad I found SheCodes, I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in coding. I look forward to learning more 🤗

Great course, well structured, and I loved that you can do it at your own pace but with some deadlines to keep you accountable.

This workshop has been my favourite so far. After getting introduced to the foundational stuff in the earlier workshops, we finally got the chance to use it all in an actual homepage design, which is also responsive. I love how much it's possible to do with relatively simple tools.

I just completed the SheCodes Basics course, and I loved it! I was always too scared to try to learn to code, I thought I did not have enough time nor the right skills but thanks to this course I learned quickly while having fun and playing with my creativity. The lessons and challenges are well structured and I completed this course despite having a busy schedule. The SheCodes team on Slack supported me when I felt stuck on a challenge, but honestly, the video lessons are so well done that I managed to solve my problems by following Matt's suggestions most of the time. Overall, I liked very much this course and I'm even more excited to continue my coding journey!

I LOVE react. It is so interesting how you can install all these apps using the terminal. The way Matt teaches is so clear and concise, and the slack community rounds out the support aspect of a full University program. Thank you doesn't say enough!

It was fun to learn extra things in SheCodes Basics Add-On! The project was fun to work on and I loved seeing the results as the lessons progressed. Highly recommend this workshop as an addition to the Basics workshop!

I Love it! React simplifies everything! When i started learning React, i was completely surprise! such a long and complicated code can actually be converted into something more readable and sophisticated! It's just Awesome!!

I loved doing the SheCodes Basics Workshop! Within 3 weeks, I learned the fundamental basics of coding to gain a better understanding of this essential work field. I'm sure it'll help me in my current and future jobs! Although it was challenging at times, I had lots of fun doing the final project and to use my new skills to create my own little website ☺️

Another great workshop where I learned so much added to my CV! When I thought there isn't much about HTML and CSS, Matt proved me wrong! I loved learning about them both because I love styling and making a page more visually pleasing and interesting! I have to admit the transform property in CSS can quickly go wrong if you can't stop using it like I do, but this workshop proved me again how fun coding is and how excited I am to learn even more in the workshops!

Code has always been a mystery to me, a language that I had no idea how to read, let alone understand. This basic course has given me an insight into the world of coding and while obviously there is still a lot to be learnt, I am no longer utterly confused by all these lines of code that make up a website. The step by step approach of SheCodes makes it possible to follow easily and writing code is not only possible but fun. I loved building my first own website and playing with fonts, colours and functions. Thanks for opening the door to coding for me!

Shecodes has been an amazing platform for me to learn new skill.I enjoyed this workshop so much. It definitely has given me so much more confidence! I can now say that I know HTML and CSS didn't know anything about coding. Now that I finished my 3-week course I am confident I will be able to learn more quickly in the future and start a new career I will love soon!

My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding 💜.

Concise, practical, and provided a solid foundation. Really loved this first course!

React is the fourth SheCodes course I have completed. I have loved the whole journey, it has been challenging at times but worth the time and effort. The React course was brilliant I really enjoyed working on the final project the weather app.

I am in a middle of a career change and wanted to try coding to see if this was something I can do and most importantly want to do for a new path in my life. I was nervous at first about these courses being online, but SheCodes made it very easy to do and having the videos to go back and listen to Matt's instructions worked better then in-person classes. I loved it and found out I am not bad at coding! I am looking forward to learning more in the other advanced courses in SheCodes. Don't be scared to learn something new at any age. I loved SheCodes! I love how you immediately learn to incorporate HTML, CSS and JavaScript together rather than learning everything separately and retroactively combining them. The instructor is clear and gives you lots of useful insights that you wouldn't have gotten if you were to go at it on your own. SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge but in the best way possible! The skill set I gained from this goes beyond anything I imagined. Being able to build an entire app by myself after following all the lessons is a massive confidence boost, not forgetting to mention the fun I've had! This workshop takes you from a coding beginner to a coding pro in so little time! I loved Matt's way of explaining and always making me feel like I could do anything if I take it step by step! Not only I've learned so much, but this workshop has changed my mindset and how I look at problems!

I started with SheCodes highly skeptical because coding bootcamps are tough and I am happy to say SheCodes is one of the best programs I have been with. The team on Slack is always efficient when we ask questions and Matt explains languages with so much easy. Very very challenging but a lot of fun building this weather app. Although it´s not perfect, i have made huge progress with my ability of coding. I love it even more and can´t wait, to get more into this in the following workshops !

I had been researching so many things for two years and I have found the one workshop that works! I have learned so much with just the basics and now I have full understanding. I love this workshop. I loved the SheCodes Responsive workshop! I feel it gave me a better understanding of all the work that goes into building a website with multiple pages. It was also fun!

I wish there were more workshops by SheCodes, that is how much I love it. It is such a user-friendly program and you actually look forward to working on the projects and homework. It takes patience and dedication and SheCodes makes it easy to feel excited to learn these skills. This is the most thorough workshop I have ever done and I can't wait to see what's next to learn from this program. I have learned so so much, more than any other coding workshop I have taken with any other program. I love it here.

The first couple of weeks I was struggling very hard to get the hang of it, but when I eventually got it I loved it so much! It sure is a challenge, but the SheCodes team provides good guidance. It's my last workshop for now, but looking forward to do another one in the near future. 🩷

SheCodes is the most non-intimidating way to get started on coding. Lessons are bite sized, fun and interactive. Loved that there were many challenges along the way so you're not just sat there listening to lessons for hours on end like a lot of other courses out there. Whether you're experienced or not, SheCodes basics sets a great foundation to whatever you're working towards.
