It was a great course to start coding and gain more profound insight. I loved all the videos that explained in detail each step and all the exercises. Plus, I had a lot of fun doing the weather app. Would recommend it to anyone!

This course was a self-paced course which I absolutely loved as I have a five children in the home. It allowed me to go at my own pace and go back if there was something that I didn't understand. I loved the structure of the lessons and how most lessons required a hands on challenge to ensure that you understood the material. Would highly recommend if you are wanting to brush up or even add a certain skill set to your resume.
This was incredibly fun ! I really enjoyed learning this new technique, and the course makes it look so easy! As someone who enjoys front-end a lot this was incredibly satisfying. I did She Codes Plus before coming back to this add-on and honestly I really loved the Java part as well, it's incredible how SheCodes helps you become increasingly more comfortable with complicated techniques without you even realising it!

SheCodes is the place to go! When I started it help me refresh my memories in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I have went to college for Information System. I graduated during the pandemic, I wasnβt getting any luck on looking for a job because everything was remotely. I was lucking to get a job as a IT Audit at a bank. Sadly at the very end it doesnβt work out and wasnβt what I wanted to do. I was looking for the Data Analytics or anything do to with coding. After leaving the bank I was jobless for also a year. Then I look in to the Phlebotomy program and heard it was easy to get in. I needed a job to pay payment that I have and saw some online program for learning to code again. I needed the money, so I went to the Texas School of Phlebotomy and got certified and got the job. So now I have the money to do the online program. I have come across SheCodes on any social media. It kept popping and popping up. So I decided to do the basic and I enjoy it! It was fun and I remember how much I love coding. Finish off the basic I feel so proud of myself and knowing how much benefit is going to help me. Thank you SheCodes for making it easy and fun to code again and looking forward to more coding.

I did firstly started off with Shecodes Basic, I found it so Interesting and I loved learning how to code. This made me want to learn more so I went for Shecodes Max, and I am loving it. Honestly I had a misconception of " coding" that it was something only nerds could do and that my brain was not capable of understanding it. This course has changed my perspective by showing me that coding is actually quite accessible and can be learned by anyone with the right guidance. Through this course, I have been able to gain an understanding of the basics of coding and how to use them in practical applications. I dare say, I love coding and have started to challenge myself and find solutions.

You get to learn powerful and extremely useful technologies such as the API: how to communicate with other applications, how to fetch data through the server and manipulate them according to your needs. SheCodes Plus unfold, in this way, the "mysteries" of these technologies, keeping its formula and method simple, clear and within everyone's reach. Due to past experiences with different coding courses, i had expected this to be a really difficult course. I was very surprised as how, it was set out and how easy it was to follow. I've been trying to learn how to code for the last year but couldn't really get the hang of it. I also wasn't sure where to start or what I should focus on as there is so much to learn. I finally decided to enroll in SheCodes and have really enjoyed the coursework thus far. It's very easy to understand and the projects are enjoyable to work through. It can be a challenge at times but once my work is done, I love being able to see what I've created.

I love it. A very well dictated course where you feel that you advance quickly but at your own pace at the same time. I was able to build a landing page in only three weeks even though I knew nothing about coding before starting the course.

With the coding knowledge that I have gained within the past few months, it's as if I can see behind the curtains of some apps now. I'm picturing what the HTML looks like and wondering how they got the font that is being used. In all honesty, coding seemed a bit intimidating, because the art of learning new things has never come easy for me, due to dyslexia. But the love of puzzles has pushed me through, whenever I broke my own codes. If it wasn't for the SheCodes slack team, I would have thrown my laptop outside the window by week #6. I appreciate that team for the times that I have gotten stuck and I must have worn out their patience.
I loved the SheCodes Basics workshop! I have no background in coding or technology of any sort, but decided to try it on a whim to see what it was all about. I appreciated that the lessons were short enough to explain each concept in a digestible way. The Basics course helped me discover that 1) I can actually code and 2) I enjoy it because it combines technical and creative skills and makes me think in a different way than what I'm used to for my everyday job (I work in healthcare). I would highly recommend this course if you're interested in trying out coding!
