SheCodes Basics provides the perfect introduction on HTML, CSS, & Java. Matt has been OUTSTANDING to listen to and watch work, and I have loved every challenge provided. I feel ready now to take a leap further into the world of coding!

I loved this course because it helped me understand coding as a web developer effectively. I recommend it to everyone who likes to learn about this subject and knows nothing about it.

I think that this workshop is one of the most useful ones for me. I really love designing things and this one gave me the insights on how to develop nice and responsive websites. I totally recommend it if you like graphic design.

As challenging as it was, I loved doing this entire course. It opened my mind to new ways of thinking, and strengthened by growth mindset. It's nice to be able to have something challenge me and it be fun at the same time. So happy I committed myself to the experience!

Really this was the best way to learn on my own time, each lesson is so accessible and easy to follow. Even when I was confused I was well-equipped to search for my own solutions. I love being able to show off my cute weather app too! I feel really proud of myself to know even this basic level of React.

Attending to this workshop was really a great idea! I wanted to learn how to code and now I am able to create simple websites by my own. Where do I even begin?! My experience with SheCodes has been nothing short of amazing! Matt is such a good teacher. I have done a few online courses on web development basics previously, but none of them come close to this one. I think Matt must've done a teaching course or something, because he is just so good. The course is well structured, and it gives the perfect opportunities for students to test their understanding of the work as they learn. What I ABSOLUTELY love about it is that it is tailored to cater for busy women. However, although it has flexibility in terms of deadlines, having strong personal goals to achieve via the skills learnt in this course, and furthermore knowing that there are other students you started the course at the same time as you who are doing their best to finish the course, pushes you to put in the work and finish! I am so happy I took the course, and look forward to learning more through the next one. Thank you SheCodes!

This workshop really helped me learn not only the basics but also the capabilities you can achieve. I loved being able to be creative and challenge myself to produce what I set out in my wireframe. I was so nervous about this course at first because computers are so intimidating but I love the way that Matt describes the concepts and gives us plenty of opportunities to practice everything we learn. I had a really great time learning HTML, CSS and JS in this workshop. I liked the assignments we got, they left us with full room for creativity and our imagination to design them the way we like. The SheCodes React course was the most difficult and I still have a lot to learn; however, it was informative and tons of fun building new sites. I hope to change careers in the near future.
