My name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey so far has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Manangement and I was not happy with what I've studyed but because I wanted to have a qulification and get a job so I can earn a living so i went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some bootcamp and I fall inlove with it but to enroll to that bootcamp you needed funding which I did'nt have. So I did my reserch and I ended up founding Delac Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity still on it and excicted for more learning and more adventure in coding π.

React is the fourth SheCodes course I have completed. I have loved the whole journey, it has been challenging at times but worth the time and effort. The React course was brilliant I really enjoyed working on the final project the weather app.

I am in a middle of a career change and wanted to try coding to see if this was something I can do and most importantly want to do for a new path in my life. I loved SheCodes! I love how you immediately learn to incorporate HTML, CSS and JavaScript together rather than learning everything separately and retroactively combining them. The instructor is clear and gives you lots of useful insights that you wouldn't have gotten if you were to go at it on your own. SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge but in the best way possible! The skill set I gained from this goes beyond anything I imagined. Being able to build an entire app by myself after following all the lessons is a massive confidence boost, not forgetting to mention the fun I've had! This workshop takes you from a coding beginner to a coding pro in so little time! I loved Matt's way of explaining and always making me feel like I could do anything if I take it step by step! Not only I've learned so much, but this workshop has changed my mindset and how I look at problems!
I started with SheCodes highly skeptical because coding bootcamps are tough and I am happy to say SheCodes is one of the best programs I have been with. The team on Slack is always efficient when we ask questions and Matt explains languages with so much easy. I loved the SheCodes Responsive workshop! I feel it gave me a better understanding of all the work that goes into building a website with multiple pages. It was also fun!
I wish there were more workshops by SheCodes, that is how much I love it. It is such a user-friendly program and you actually look forward to working on the projects and homework. It takes patience and dedication and SheCodes makes it easy to feel excited to learn these skills. This is the most thorough workshop I have ever done and I can't wait to see what's next to learn from this program. I have learned so so much, more than any other coding workshop I have taken with any other program. I love it here.

Try not to be deterred by the intimidating sound of the word "coding"! For a very long time, I believed that I wasn't "smart" enough to code, but after overcoming that barrier with SheCodes, I discovered that I actually love it! Coding truly challenges that portion of my brain, which I adore puzzles. Start out slowly, maintain your curiosity, and keep practicing to become more at ease. There is no reason why you cannot learn this, as millions of individuals have done before you.

I love love love shecodes. Its an awesome place to learn coding and believe me have tried several places. From udemy to codeacademy to youtube but none beats shecodes. Shecodes made learning code so easy and fun. Its quite funny but i sometimes dream about bugs on my line of code then wake up thinking how to solve the bug i have or how to complete an assignment. I recommend shecodes 1000% for any one who is interested in learning how to code. Thank you.

Unfortunately I could not finish the course as fast as I planned because of some unexpected work duties. I am very grateful for the team that they could provide extra extension so I could finish it without overstressing it. In general I really loved the course, in these times it is essential to create responsive websites that look good in all devices and we learned to tools to do that.
I think if you're an absolute begginer -that was me- at coding this workshop is perfect for you to take off and lose your fear. I've found the course super fun, interesting and well explained. Loved the challenges, the homework and the final project, I think it's a very effective way of learning.

This course made me feel super confident on how to use React hooks! Matt's courses show how fun and simple it can be to quickly build very powerful applications. I loved it, and it will definitely help me with a summer internship where I will be using React.
I am a very creative and curious person but also love things that require problem-solving and cognitive stimulation. When I found Shecodes, I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to try out coding and see what it would be like to create my own landing page from scratch, but I felt like I was diving into the 'deep-end' with no prior knowledge or experience. I thought I would have to be super intelligent and love maths/science to code. I was so wrong! Shecodes showed me how taking the risk was worth it. I fell in love with coding during the 3 weeks of trying it out! Matt and everyone at Shecodes provide a welcoming and supportive space for beginners and people of all skill levels to dive into coding. Matt's engaging and easy-to-follow video lessons, as well as the creative and fun challenges/homework provided, have meant that I have gained so much confidence over the 3-week course in a field that I thought I wouldn't thrive. SheCodes is an amazing platform for all women to become curious and be creative through interactive coding workshops! I am intrigued by technology, coding and digital development but also have a passion for gender equality, and so I love the ethos of Shecodes at what they are doing for women worldwide; from opening up potential career paths to women in a sector where female representation is sparse, to even providing people with a starting point to develop and flourish within a new hobby/ interest. I am now going to continue coding and maybe look into careers in the Tech industry. I'd highly recommend giving coding a shot, especially through a Shecodes workshop!
