I've been away from coding for a wee while, I needed to get up to speed again, quite quickly. SheCodes Basics is a good course for newbies or those like myself who want to jump right back in with both feet and rediscover the enjoyment of coding once again. Individual experiences will vary, of course, but I found Matt's explanations of HTML, CSS and JS + related content really easy to understand. I love the PowerPuff girls-esk branding and the positive, supportive vibes from the SheCodes Slack community and the library of provided tools and resources from Matt. The feedback on weekly assignments, plus the accountability from setout timeframes is great for someone like myself with ADHD.
On and up in my SheCodes MAX to become a Frontend Developer! Absolutely love this!

I've just started learning and I fell in love with the style of teaching that is provided by shecodes. It's easy to follow, I can go back and review as many times as I need without going through hours of video on things I don't need. It's easy to navigate and I'm enjoying learning with it.
As a person who has a hard time self-learning, especially with CS, SheCodes's short-video format and simplistic yet detailed-enough explanations really motivated me to start and develop my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. I especially love this class format with required challenges and homework to submit as it holds me accountable to learning coding skills associated with those languages very well, something I wouldn't necessarily have without this course.
As a full-time working professional and a devoted mother, my days were already filled with numerous responsibilities and commitments. I had always been intrigued by the world of technology and coding but never found the time or the courage to pursue it. However, one day, something within me sparked, and I decided to take a leap of faith. The initial challenges were undoubtedly overwhelming. There were moments of self-doubt and frustration when I questioned whether I had made the right choice. Believe in yourself, seek support from your loved ones, and embrace the challenges along the way. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve when you combine determination, perseverance, and the power of balancing your dreams with your responsibilities.

Wow, this workshop was challenging, but so incredibly rewarding! I have learned so much and I love how my project turned out, plus I had a lot of fun. Web development is so mentally stimulating for me and while this workshop was really difficult at times, pushing through obstacles helped me reach optimal learning. I am so much more confident in my skills after completing this project!

I always tried to find the thing that I'm passionate about! The the thing that I wake up every day thinking about. I never realized how much I loved coding after all those trials and errors until I enrolled in a SheCodes Course, and since then, I can't stop thinking about my future as a Web developer.
I absolutely love SheCodes! I started this class with zero knowledge of coding. The challenges were really very 'challenging'. There were days I stayed up all night trying to figure out a challenge without going through Slack. Right now, I'm an expert in HTML, CSS and JS. I love the way Matt Delac explains everything. I found SheCodes really intuitive and I love Matt's teaching style. You feel like he is right there with you. I found it tough at times, but I had all the tools to persevere. I have tried so many times to learn code and failed and this is the first time I was able to do anything using coding.
Itβs actually fun! I find myself obsessing over perfecting the code, giving up, and then going back for more. I love that we are all apart of a program, that supports the success of women! Itβs exciting :)

SheCodes is the best decision I have made so far, I have been to a lot of bootcamps and I always gave up along the line because of how tough it seemed, but SheCodes simplified coding and made JavaScript look so easy and understandable. React! React!! React!!! I'm never using regular html and css for front end. React is so challenging and fun. All the videos in this workshop opened my eyes to a new world of front end development and I can't wait to develop my own personal projects with react. I really appreciated that they had a free 1 hour class to discuss what they do, how they work, and how easy it can be to learn coding, through them. Being a stay at home mom has its difficulties, and I really appreciated that it wasn't time consuming. It did still take a lot of effort, but I finished the basic course, and really LOVED my entire experience. I have now completed the plus course, I truly feel I have found a love for coding and am excited for the opportunities it can bring me and my family. I can't wait to see what's to come after this. I had never coded before and I loved SheCodes Basics for it's short video lessons and exercises I could fit into my day. The workshop format is really fun. I found myself excited to set time to work on it and I feel like I learned a lot. Coding is no longer intimidating for me, and I've gained a new interest. I'm really glad I tried it.
Iβve always wanted to do something tech based. Ever since I was little I was always taking things apart and putting them back together and really learning and understanding how things worked and me being the person that I am I looked for ways to advance those things and what better way than to do that then with coding. Learning code has been a fun and challenging experience for me and I love it.
I've learned so much about code in just 3 weeks. I've learned CSS, HTML, and Java. I love that I can work at my own pace and that each lesson has a detailed video tutorial to walk me through the process. I am pleased with my experience.

I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. With SheCodes I had a different experience, our Tutor Matt made it so easy to understand all the concepts and I never had to battle with imposter syndrome like I did in the previous courses I took. I had a feeling I could understand all the concepts and I did, letβs not even talk about the lovely choice of colors that the SheCodes website has that is alluring and just makes you always want to visit at the thought of it.
