I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.

I love SheCodes. I love how the classes are broken down into bite size sections so the material does not get so overwhelming. I think its great that every lesson has a challenge that lets you put into action what you just learned plus build from the skills learned in the previous lessons. I like that we submit each challenge as we go along. Love that feeling of accomplishment.
Absolutely loved exploring more of CSS to enhance my website's overall visual appeal. The focus on CSS perfectly complemented what I've learned in Basics, seamlessly building on my existing knowledge. Incorporating Javascript to toggle dark mode was a great addition to the workshop, which has elevated my understanding and practical application of design principles. SheCodes Basics workshop for programming, introducing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This workshop was incredibly easy to understand and effectively got straight to the point. It allowed me to see the results of my learning process come to life very quickly, which was highly rewarding. One aspect that I particularly loved about this workshop was the abundance of hints and helpful tips provided, making it easier for learners to grasp the concepts effectively. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.
I would recommend SheCodes to anyone woman that is interested in learning to code. I've been contemplating it for so long, but I never found any course that seemed manageable let alone appealing. SheCodes is taught in an easy to understand and approachable manner. Matt explains each concept clearly and thoroughly, giving enough context for your to grasp the theory and to easily execute the practical elements. I'm beyond chuffed with the final project I've produced because it's hard to fathom that less than 3 weeks ago I hadn't the slightest understanding of coding languages. I had an amazing time with SheCodes! The lessons were well-structured, providing clear examples and guidelines on how to proceed with assignments, while also encouraging students to expand their knowledge with the help of external resources. I loved the flexibility and working on my own terms! All in all, I'm extremely satisfied and already signing up for the next classes :)
This intro course demystified the complexity of coding for me - Matt is good at breaking things down into easy to comprehend modules. I did try to over-complicate things and got stuck a couple of times (managed to find the errors myself), but did see that the SheCodes team was quick to assist other learners over on slack when they needed it. I enjoyed learning CSS part of coding the best as I am rather creative and loved playing around with the look of webpages etc.
Another workshop bites the dust. I must say it was a very challenging but loved every moment of it.
I absolutely love this program. I have adhd and have a hard time sitting down for 3 hours straight to study. The lessons are divided into small chunks that are easy to understand. I am very excited to continue the workshop!

SheCodes Basics was an excellent introduction to the basics of coding with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The classes were easy to follow and I was happy that the challenges weren't just a copy/paste of earlier solutions - it was just tricky enough to make you think and problem-solve on your own. I would love to continue learning more with their other courses in the future!
In less than three weeks, I have gone from knowing NOTHING about coding to being addicted - I love it. Good lessons with challenges to reinforce learning along the way, I'm so pleased with my progress.

As a coding newbie this has been challenging but so much fun! It's a great start to learning the basics. I love the small, focused steps of learning with application tasks throughout the week followed by a more challenging application task at the end of the week. The scaffolding of the learning is fantastic with learners signposted to lots of resources to help them. While my end of unit project won't win any design awards, I'm so proud of what I have learned in just 3 weeks!

I love how I can follow along with Matt. It helps me because I am a visual learner and once I see what I have then all the dots start to connect.
This has been my very first experience with Coding. The best part of coding to me is to see the results of your work straight away. Even though sometimes I struggled when coding, I loved learning how to code a weather app and integrating API (real data) to the weather app. It feels so fascinating when you make something work ! SheCodes makes it easy to digest all the information into smaller lessons. And using VS Code, GitHub and Netlifly to publish the web apps, made it like I am one step closer to become a full-fledged front-end developer. :)

This program has been great and I love that I have homework on actual due dates - a lot of online courses let you work as you go with zero due dates and I these dues dates have been keeping me in CHECK! I would highly recommend this course if you're wondering what is like to code or if you have a busy schedule but are eager to learn. To me, it was extremely useful and super fun! I learned a lot and now I'm 100% sure I will continue coding. 👩💻 I loved the way lessons are separated into short clips because it makes it really easy to follow or rewatch if needed. Matt is a very good instructor and I found his explanations very clear (thank you!). Also, I loved the Radio station 🎧 and Athena was a life-savior when I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my code. 🤖🙌✨

This course was well-structured. The challenges and lessons moved in building blocks so it allowed me get a deep understanding of the concepts without burdening me with theoretical info and allowed me time to research for the challenges. I loved the challenges at the end of each lesson. They helped put the theory into perspective and challenge my thought process. I can't wait to practice more with what I've learnt so far.
I loved this workshop! This was the perfect add-on and refresher off all the SheCodes basics skills and I feel so confident now going forward and creating my own project.
I never thought I could have my dream of being a coder come true. Class were also way to expenses and hard to fully understand, but since I found SheCodes everything about my perspective has changed for me. Not only it being way more affordable than other programs, SheCodes is also very easy to understand the more you study and stay consistent. I don't feel rush or like rushing through the lessons without really learning. If there is something I don't quite remember or understand there is so many different options to choose from to get my answer. I can look back from old lessons, I can ask the alumni or I can even ask other students. There's a sense of independence but also a security that comes with the program and I love it.
Coding always surprise me sometimes I underestimate How long I was do a project or how fun, challenge even stressful it can be but I will always came back. This bootcamp not only showed me how a real life project can have your up and downs but also bring me more resilience to finish and love my final result.

By the end of She Codes Plus, I had learnt how to create a functioning weather app. That approach of learning that sees to it that we not only obtain theoretical knowledge but also practical outlooks is the sole reason why i love She Codes.

SheCodes 100% definitely is the best coding workshop out there! Before starting SheCodes basics I thought I would feel discouraged or disinterested after the first week but it was completely the opposite. Throughout the course I was engaged and motivated to challenge myself and complete the tasks. The challenges and videos made coding feel so much more easier and it helped me stay on track. One thing I loved about the workshop is that I could go back to any lesson which I didn't fully understand and work on the challenges at any time of the day which is extremely useful for people who are busy. I've learnt so much from Matt and can't wait to begin SheCodes Max! 😇

I started learning Programming from scratch with no prior knowledge with She Codes and i have grown to love and understand the language as a result of my lessons. I doubted myself thinking that coding is hard, but I took a leap of faith and realized how fun it is. I've always loved coding and stats but I didn't really know it in depth and now I'm confident enough and would to pursue a career in tech.
I learned a few things about coding when I was in grade school, and honestly forgot about how much I loved it! SheCodes has brought that back to me and I cannot wait to see what more I can learn and all that I can do!
The SheCodes basics workshop provided a great introduction for anyone new to coding. Lessons were short, instructions were specific, and there were many opportunities to practice. Additionally, I loved that the program was flexible and accommodating. I was able to work around my schedule, find support when needed, and learn at my own pace. I would definitely recommend this program to others interested in trying out coding.
I LOVED this workshop, I know I say that about all of the workshops haha, but this one in particular was, by far, my favorite because I worked on a subject that's very dear to my heart, combining traveling and Harry Potter! This workshop added so much knowledge to my coding arsenal and little by little, I'm feeling more confident in my code. 100% recommend! 👍🏻

I enjoyed every minute of the SheCodes Basics workshop! I love Matt's teaching style. I learned while having fun and even laughing sometimes. I loved that there are challenges after most of the teaching videos. This is the best teaching style for me. You implement what you learn. I also like that it is self-paced although there is a deadline for submitting the weekly homeworks and the final project. This is good for me too because I need to be able to learn on my own time but I also need that little push to stay on track. Can't wait to start with the SheCodes Plus workshop!

The gradual buildup of knowledge, the bits of challenges in most lessons, and the tips provided in the solution videos as well as in the snippets all helped me maintain what I learned from the lessons, practice on it, and even expand it. Matt is a great tutor! he never misses mentioning the tips and tricks on what to pay attention to when it comes to the most common mistakes. He also makes sure to always teach you how to search for info yourself and the tools you can use to experiment with new approaches. I also feel grateful for the fact that SheCodes allowed me to extend my deadlines a couple of times! I cannot believe that I learned all that in this short time! I started this course as a beginner, I had seen code before and even attempted to learn on my own but it was so difficult to fully understand the topics. Well, after sitting in on the free coding class I knew this format and teaching style was better suited to how I learn best. Through this course I was able to fully discover my love of coding! I purchased shecodes Max, so I can't wait to keep learning more and eventually gain the skills needed to become a front end web developer!

I've been trying to grasp coding for a couple of months but kept getting stuck with no idea how to find answers to my questions. I love this format where not only are we taught how to look up answers for ourselves, but if we can't figure it out there's a chat with classmates as well as an entire walkthrough of the problem. It's also super fun!
