Great course and really informative, I am learning a lot! I love how many resources and how much extra information outside of just the lessons are provided. This was a great introduction to coding. I thought the videos were very easy to follow. The weekly homework assignments were aligned to what we learned in the videos. It also allowed us to do a little exploration on our own which I loved.
I love these workshops! The step by step lessons on creating the app from scratch were extremely helpful in building repetition and solidifying the workflow in my brain. I'm proud of the project I have created and am ready for the next chapter!

This was hands down my favourite project thus far. I love travelling and I am a pilot, working with timezones was so fun and the coding came really easy as I am passionate about everything geography. I loved it!❤️
I am grateful to have been accepted. This is an opportunity, I will always be grateful for, when I got accepted, I didn't start immediately, I kept on pushing my starting date forward because of school work, that is one of the things I like about SheCodes, it allows you to start at your own convenient time. I started but I couldn't complete the basics, I felt sad, I wanted to quit but thanks to my friend who encouraged me. The learning process has been fun, I love the fact I get to see what I am creating, I hope to go deeper, learn more and become the best front-end developer.

I've been thinking about taking a SheCodes workshop for a while now because I want to eventually enter the STEM world and I absolutely LOVED SheCodes Basics!! It was confusing at times.. (Javascript 🙃) but overall, I had a great time and plan on taking more coding workshops in the future 😄

This add-on workshop was a lot of fun. I got to create a page dedicated to a city I fell in love with years ago. I also learned a lot of new techniques using just HTML and CSS, including making the page super responsive. This really was a lot of fun!

Absolutely loved it, the classes were easy to go through and understand, in spite of the fact that sometimes there were concepts that I could not fully grasp and eventually had to look up or use an AI. But overall I would really recommend it.
Absolutely loved the course! Hats off to the facilitator and the SheCodes team. The modules and the reference links are apt and very informative. The flow of the course is perfect. The response system through slack is quite innovative and quick, I has only a few doubts while coding, thanks to the amazing lessons and even those few were very efficiently solved via slack. The assignment review system is commendable as well. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience and one must go for it!

I am 25 and am undergoing the biggest career change of my life -- from Registered Nurse to Web Developer 😰 but SheCodes has helped to make this transition smooth! I love that I can do it at my own pace, that they are quick teaching segments and I get to practice and review different solutions. Loved learning how to use AI technology and how to integrate it into our projects. Have a better understanding of the different ways the AI can be used such as prompt engineering. It was super fun.

I knew languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript existed and I had seen them before but would not be able to replicate work or produce anything of my own from scratch. It has been a very interesting journey: learning the different functions of these three tools and learning how to create my own works from scratch. It's definitely how they structured the work that makes it easy to learn, understand, practice and remember the work. I am so happy with the challenges I was given, they are not called challenges for decoration they were actually challenging. I have a low attention span, but for me I found that the way they divided the videos into different sub-topics did the trick in getting me to concentrate. If this was basics, I sure am nervous about the next program but supper excited as well. If you are interested in coding, don't let such an opportunity pass you! finally, just from this program, I have learnt that I love coding and would not mind doing it for the rest of my life.

Coming into the Basic workshop, i had basics to java and python. With this workshop i was able to implement what i knew before while still learning new information and being able to retain it. I'm confident in my coding ablilities and i'm starting to grow to love and enjoy coding.

This was a super fun add-on workshop! Understanding AI and how to make it work for your needs is a super important skill to have. I enjoyed building the AI Love Poem Generator and can't wait to build more AI generators with the skills this workshop taught me.

I am a Full Time Registered Nurse at the bedside that has been looking for an alternate career path. I decided to dip my toes into the tech world with SheCodes because it let me do just that without committing to an entire 8-24 month long commitment at a formal university; and I am so glad I did it because I'm learning how much projects matter more than an institution name and 4 year programs! I also love that they offer shorter workshops to try out coding before committing to a larger investment, which many alternatives require of prospective students without them even having tried coding. The learning segments are easy to digest, homework and challenges are very straight forward and they teach you real life ways to find help before reaching out to their technical support. It is very organized and easy to follow. All in all, I have to say I'm impressed. I've only done the 3 week workshop and already have a project that I can put on my portfolio and that has given me the confidence to proceed with the SheCodes Max. Love that Matt regularly reminds the learner to ‘just have fun and enjoy’. Because even if programming is a bit challenging at times - at least for a complete beginner like me - it really is a lot of fun to gain access to a whole new world, and several new languages at that!

My coding journey with SheCodes continues to be a positive experience. Matt Delac's instructional videos are direct and concise showing each step with clear directions and explanations. The organization of the course, all the supportive materials and access to SheCodes Athena-AI coding assistant are the tools I use to learn and write my code. I know I can return to the lessons for clarification when needed. I appreciate Matt's acknowledgement that the material can be challenging to understand. He demonstrates that if the code doesn't work the first time, don't panic, just try to use the clues and find where it breaks and try again. He always offers encouragement and injects a positive spirit into the process by telling us to have fun with what we are learning. I know that may seem like a minor detail but it creates a positive mindset. I want to take what I've learned and try out some other APIs. I found one about coffee drinks and now I want to play with the API to create an app for those who love coffee. Now I'm looking forward to my next workshop. Thank you to everyone at SheCodes.

I absolutely loved my experience with SheCodes! The course was incredibly well-structured and easy to follow, even for someone like me who had no prior coding experience. It was an exciting experience that helped me with focus and determination. Tho i struggled at some point but i have pulled through. The instructor explained really well, classes were not stressful because the lectures were well taught. The projects and challenges were engaging and gave me a real sense of accomplishment as I progressed through the course. The highlights for me was the final project, where I had the chance to build a website from scratch. It was challenging, but incredibly fulfilling to see my ideas come to life through code and gave me opportunity to learn better ways to codes. One of the amazing things about SheCodes is the community and being able to reach out to others when you need help and they are ready to help. It has given me a push for a great career ahead. I've recently completed the react development course from SheCodes.io, and I'm so glad I did! The course was challenging but also engaging and enjoyable. I especially loved the hands-on exercises and the real-world projects that allowed me to apply what I was learning. The instructor was knowledgeable and supportive, and the community of fellow students was very helpful.
SheCodes has been the perfect program for me! I love the ability to move at my own accelerated pace to achieve personal goals. In about 50 days I have worked hard to learn, practice, and level up from the Basics through Responsive workshops. Matt has structured the lessons to ensure student success. I am excited to continue with the Responsive Add-on and React workshops!
SheCodes has been a wild jorney! I sure didn't expect to be as cool and as challeging as it was, and the best part of it it's to look at what you did during the program: the pages and pieces of code you just never expected that you'd be able to do. Matt is very didatic, the classes are short and the homeworks are fun. Besides, the Final Project (bit harder than you may think it) is challeging enough to test your abilities while letting you feel free to be all creative and just have fun while seeing your abstract ideas becoming something solid. I loved it every single minute of the program, and all the work done was very fun (and difficult). I am excited to keep on learning!

The SheCodes Basics Add-On was a lovely course. It built onto the foundation we learnt in the first course in a valuable way, and gave us a chance to be creative and apply what we learned on a project for practice. The project was a lot of fun to complete, and we learned a lot of important techniques.
I love how quick this course get me set up a real webpage that I can readily showcase to others.
This exceeded my expectations! I did not think I would love coding as much as I do now. Even though I am just getting the hang of it, I know that I can improve my newly acquired skills by practicing as often as I can.
When I enrolled in this course I was on holiday from Med school and wanted to learn a little something on the side that wouldn't be too tasking and also allowed me to have fun while learning. That's when my friend send me a link to SheCodes. The tech community is so overrun with men that i never wanted to get into the community as women are usually shadows in the art. I loved how the platform was made just for women and it provided a safe space while learning, It helped you take your time and also was very flexible in terms of how fast you work. This is a course you can do over your own time and also you can spend even 30 minutes of your day to attend a few lessons. Everything was made easy and when things got hard you could ask your friends on the slack platform or the Athena AI which made learning so much easier. I'm glad I took the time to enroll into this short course and I'll definitely be back for more.
