I loved every Challenge,because it was a time to shine in my own unique way.

My name is Hawau Hamzat, and I recently had the incredible opportunity to complete a project on SheCodes, a place where passion meets learning. Coming from a non-technical background, I never thought I could bring my ideas to life, but this platform helped me realize my potential. Throughout my journey, I learned invaluable skills, from HTML and CSS to JavaScript, and was able to create a vibrant webpage about one of my greatest loves—R&B music. The support I received from the community, along with the step-by-step guidance, helped me take on challenges I once thought were beyond my abilities. The R&B-themed project I created, featuring my favorite artists, was more than just an assignment; it was a reflection of my growth, creativity, and newly acquired skills. The most rewarding part of this experience was not just completing the project, but the confidence I gained. I’m now able to tackle even more complex challenges in web development with excitement and curiosity. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity, and I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to upskill, especially women like myself who want to break into tech. I love how easy it was learn everything. It was broken down very well, easy to follow along and you're taught how to use what you learn as you go.

This workshop was pretty interesting and challenging at the same time. I loved learning about API data integration. Also, I got to use all the tools that I learnt in the past to make a more dynamic website!

I have found learning to code to be an incredibly rewarding experience. It's like unlocking a new world of creativity and problem-solving. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I build something from scratch and see it come to life. Coding has not only expanded my technical skills but has also taught me valuable problem-solving and logical thinking abilities. I've bought the basic workshop a long time ago but I've always been scared to not be able to go through it and understand. Fortunately, It's well explain and structured, even when it can be challenging at times, there's so much ressources on this website and online to help. I love the fact that there's no pressure and I can learn at my own pace, I can put in practice what I've learn right away and see where I have difficulties. Good job SheCodes! 😌

This was the toughest SheCodes course I've done yet, but so worth it! This time around I discovered SheCodes Athena, which is an AI Coding assistant which saved me a lot of time, I definitely recommend utilising it. I've always loved how flexible the courses are, I've had a lot of things going on in my regular job, and these courses are so easy to fit around every-day life, and it's reassuring to know that you can extend your deadlines if you need to.

I love AI and how you have endless possibilities to create really useful pages (recipes generator for example). Matt made it incredibly easy to understand, and I am so looking forward to what comes next - I keep saying this but I do feel the course is getting better and better!

With SheCodes, I have really sharpened my programming skills. I was afraid that I would not get a job after completing my degree, but now I'm more confident since I have been exposed to real life projects. I love how everything is so easy to use.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus, it was a labour of love, but no matter where you encounter problems with your code, She Codes Team, Slack and Athena AI help out any questions you may have and help to fix the code. You get to build a weather app and forecast from scratch and have it forever!! It was a very enjoyable course with a great tutor in Matt!

This was the perfect boost to my coding skills! I built a single-page responsive website from scratch, learning how to make my designs look great on any device. I also discovered how to use embeds, which added interactive elements like videos and maps to my project seamlessly. The hands-on approach made it easy to follow along, and I loved seeing my progress in real-time.

Learning React through this course was definitely not as scary as I had anticipated. I loved the challenges and obstacles along the way, and am glad to have another language in my toolbelt thanks to SheCodes!

Where do I even begin? SheCodes has been a game-changer in my journey to learn coding. I love SheCodes! I have been able to learn a new skill and I plan to switch careers as soon as possible. I will go from Immigration Paralegal to Frontend Developer. The AI module in the coding course was surprisingly easy to follow, especially considering it was my first time working with AI tools. The instructions were clear, and I felt like I could dive right into it without feeling overwhelmed. What I loved most was how it gave me the freedom to be creative and experiment with ideas I hadn't thought of before. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I love the structure of the workshops, with the learning broken down into bite-sized chunks and plenty of opportunity to practise what we have learned. Before I found SheCodes, I was just about to give up on learning to code after months of trying ... now, not only am I "getting it" (mostly 🤣), but I am really enjoying it too!

The SheCodes Basics workshop was an incredible experience that exceeded my expectations. I’ve always been curious about coding, but I never thought I’d have the confidence to try it.
