I recently completed the 8-week coding course with SheCodes, and I can confidently say it has been a transformative experience for me. As someone who had little to no coding experience before this course, I was initially apprehensive about diving into the world of programming. The course was well-organized, with each week building on the previous one, allowing me to gradually develop my skills. SheCodes Plus is so educational and interesting. I have finally stamped my love for coding.

This has been a lovely journey rewarding, knowledgeable, informative, and worth it. This workshop is mindblowing I came here with no idea of how to code but now I can confidently say that it is a thing of the past I'm so glad I chose this career path, React is not so easy when you start but once you put your all into it then it becomes a little bit easy to understand Matt is such an incredible tutor and coach grateful.

SheCodes has opened more doors for me to understand how lovely and fun coding is.

I loved the SheCodes Plus workshop. The lessons were well structured, easy to understand and the challenges were a lot of fun.

I've just completed the Python Basics course, which I liked but didn’t love. The instructional videos with Matt were definitely educational, and I learned a lot of theory. However, I felt the course lacked practical exercises, which I believe is the most important aspect of coding. Some videos included homework that took only a few minutes, while others had no practice at all. As an absolute beginner, I managed to get through the course by copying Matt (and leaning on AI), but I don’t feel confident applying these skills in the real world.

Being part of the She Codes Foundation is one of the BEST things thats happened to me this year, I Love it here.

It was really amazing! Matt is a wonderful teacher and teaches us everything step by step as if he is with us during the project. He teaches all the necessary points in very simple language and I can really see the difference in my ability at the beginning and the end of the course! Thank you to Matthew and his good team and really recommend "SheCodes" to all coding lovers!

SheCodes has been an incredible journey so far! I'm currently on week 3, and I've already learned so much about software development. The hands-on approach and the support from the SheCodes community have made it easy to grasp complex concepts. Every lesson is engaging, and I love how each project builds on the last, helping me grow my skills steadily. I can't wait to see how much more I'll accomplish by the end of the course!

But after enrolling, I quickly discovered my passion, thanks to the captivating way the classes were taught. Because the material was so well organised and so well explained, the course was challenging and interesting but at no point frustrating. Loved it!

Starting the program, I was hesitant about how much I would be able to learn within the short specified time, yes its a bit more challenging too, but when you have mastered the concepts you are good to go. Basic Ads On was a little bit challenging and I really loved creating the landing page ,Its like you are building a house from the scratch foundation. It was really fun and kept me busy all time. I recommend She Codes and looking forward to what is coming next, Happy Coding to all the She Coders.💃💃💃

I absolutely loved Shecodes Plus! It was so challenging, but i was proudly showing off the weather app I created to all my friends and family. So much fun!

I loved the UI of the app and thought the amount of work every week was perfect.

Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team! The course is super beginner friendly. Very good structure, support, informative lessons and fun and challenging homework. Would highly recommend to anyone who is interested in the world of web development. Loved it! Would definitely continue learning and upgrading my skills.

I thouroughly enjoyed this course. I have always had a love for tech and creativity. I feel web development is the best path when combining the two. The SheCodes Basic course is very well-structured because it teaches you the sub-topics in small batches. This is great especially if you're learning something new. The coding of my final project was the most fun I've had in a while. I must admit though that I did take a while to find a topic to code about. Also I was so excited to coded that I did so without laying down a design first, and that led me to changing my code a lot. However, once I found my topic and started creating this web page, I was on a roll and, in the end, I am super happy with my final result.

Enjoyable workshop! I studied Bootstrap in greater depth and learned how to import it into my project. I discovered how to host a multi-page website using GitHub and Netlify. I learned how to build a responsive navigation bar using a hamburger button menu to toggle between pages. For this specific project, I explored more utility CSS classes and responsive techniques. I also learned how to make my projects responsive using Bootstrap, as well as without it, using only vanilla CSS, HTML, and media queries. I focused intensely on CSS grids, responsive CSS grids, HTML tables, CSS filters, CSS Hero, and how to use HTML embeds. I learned how to embed parts of other websites into my personal website, such as YouTube videos, Instagram posts and Google Maps. Additionally, I learned how to use the console to view my website on different devices, ensuring it was successfully responsive. I love spoken word, so I included a poem in this project. I hope you like it! I had a great time working on this one.

I absolutely loved the basics workshop l learnt a lot and l am looking forward to advancing my coding skills. I would recommend coding to anyone l believe it is a doorway to the future

I love the coding workshop, it is so much fun. Sometimes it gets really difficult, but the videos are great and help you step by step building your code and design a successful project. I have learned so much in the last few weeks.

I love how Matt shows how he codes the final project. We can see how he thinks... how he corrects his mistakes.

The course works so well, I never thought I could build a landing page with that much detail and now I made it. It is a well-designed course where even completing the challenges can make me proud of myself and make me want to learn more. I just love it!

These past 3 weeks have been incredibly amazing, Matt is such a great instructor he makes the lessons short and what I love the most is that I have access to past lessons with no hassle. I am enjoying being a Delac Foundation beneficiary, absolutely grateful for the opportunity.

The Shecodes Basics Add on workshop was definitely a bit challenging for me however the well structured curriculum has made it a walk in the park for me, I would definitely recommend to anyone would like to tap into the tech world but has no background knowledge about coding. I am glad that I applied and actually started the course because I have always wanted to learn how to code and tap into the tech world. I loved every single minute of it.Looking forward to learning more.

I loved exploring CSS for this project!

For me, developing a weather app was a really fulfilling and thrilling experience. I was excited to be able to merge my love of real-time data applications and my enthusiasm for coding when I started the project. I was immediately enthralled with the process of creating a visually appealing and useful user interface. I had a lot of fun playing around with different color schemes and layouts to create an entertaining and functional app. The integration of the API to retrieve weather data, however, was the true magic. The ability of the program to dynamically display data that was pulled from outside sources was intriguing to watch. It was thrilling to learn how to manage data, handle the complexities of API queries, and make sure the app reacted correctly to user input. Debugging and improving the app to make sure it effortlessly supplied real-time weather updates was a problem-solving exercise that I really loved. All in all, it was an excellent opportunity to combine creativity and study. Witnessing my concepts materialize into a workable program that I could distribute to others was exhilarating. In addition to improving my technical abilities, this project stoked my desire to take on more challenging and creative programming tasks in the future. Another thank you to the SheCodes team.

I love the structure: weekly homework and each lesson as a challenge. I think maybe this specific course could have had more lessons because it got quite complex towards the end. I still enjoyed it and will be referring back to it for sure.
