Loved it! If I could I would do it again. It was an amazing and very intense experience who allowed me to learn another language! Thanks to the team and volunteers!
As a digital marketer I am convinced that (at least basic) coding skills are required to grow in your job. And in the future they will become even more relevant! I was personally always curious about coding, however it being still such a men domain (even in 2018!) might hinder many women from learning it. After this fun two days I can only recommend it to other interested girls: I love the creativity in it and the feeling you created something from scratch! Since I also love challenges, I am thinking of enrolling for the upcoming Shecodes Week!
Super happy with what I got out of this course and I would love to attend She Codes Plus. Whole team is great and I definitely recommend it to any woman that wants to understand how software works from the basis.
I really loved doing She Codes! It was really good to learn the basics about this 3 languages and at the end I was amble to do a simple landing page by myself. Matt is very good teacher! I totally recommend :)
As a graphic designer, knowing a little bit more about coding really changed the deal for me. The workshop was amazing, all the ladies were great, and it really did inspire me to go the extra mile. Now I can really say that I can code and I love doing it!
I love the concept of She Codes! It proved to be very useful for acquiring an overview of the several programming languages and their application in real life and at work. I recommend the workshop to anyone who wants to start programming, with or without bases, and check the hypothesis of entering this area. I wish all success to this project. 5 *
It was lovely and refreshing to be in a room full of talented and amazing women! I didnt know anything about coding and I was able to understanding the basis and do a website. Matt was super patient and funny while doing the workshop which created a great atmosphere!
I love the course, the mentors, the tasks and the location! As a result the 'she codes' stickers are all around London by now. I learned a lot only in two days I am wondering how much I could develop in the 6-week course π€let me know if you are planning to do one outside of Portugal! π
I really loved the easy accessible way in which Matt thought us the basic of Coding. I feel like I gained a lot of interesting insights and I cannot wait to start experimenting myself.
She Codes has been a great opportunity to learn more about coding, and the course has given me the perfect toolkit to continue pursuing my interest in web development. Participating in She Codes has been extremely empowering, and I loved meeting the other women in the course. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is curious about coding!

HELLO WORLD : She Codes is brilliant! I have been a teacher for a long time but wanted to change my career to become a coder and this course gave me the perfect introduction and motivation I needed to start. The teachers are amazing at what they do, all very experienced and successful in their areas but most importantly they make the experience so much fun! I loved being a part of such a small and dedicated team, replete of inspiring women and actually looked forward to the early Saturday mornings, even on little sleep ;)) You will learn a lot but also make friends and share laughs. Lisbon just got a little bit better with SheCodes. : ))
When i first applied, I immediately thought this program would be an excellent opportunity for me to learn more about coding and this project delivered it, I loved it and not only did I learn about the basics of the front end coding world and a little bit of back end but I made friends with women equally excited to learn code. My computing skills are still low but Iβm thankful for this 4 weeks because it allowed me to set a strong basis for my future in html and css and it was all done by amazing and patient teachers. This programme made confirm that I really would like to pursue programming in the future.
It has been an honor to be part of the first SheCodes sessions, I loved it and would recommend it to any Women entrepreneur! I have been learning so much about the web development industry and it have been a huge support for the progress of my own start-up! Now I know that with some more training I can Code things that I never thought I could do before.
