Attending the SheCodes workshop for three weeks has been an incredibly inspiring journey. SheCodes Plus Add-On has been an incrediby fun and challenging experience. Building the fully functional world clock as our final project was reakky good and I learned a lot using HTML, CSS and Javascript when building in and playing with the time zones and time in general. This 3-week course is a great introduction to those who are interested in not only pursuing a career in tech, but also just learning/touching up on basic coding. Matt's learning modules and videos are simple and easy to understand. Although there are deadlines, it feels that you can go at your own pace with each week's lessons. Would highly recommend!

Wow! This was amazing. Matt is a really good teacher. I loved how all the lessons were broken up in to smaller pieces. It made it less overwhelming and felt like I was flying through it. Before I began I was worried I would get frustrated and quit but that never happened. Instead, I am addicted and want to learn more! I was so proud of myself after doing any little piece of coding and it working. Love that instant gratification.

I am so surprised with the work we have had to do, its been easy at times and a little difficult too. I have learnt a lot with this course and would be interested in doing further courses with SheCodes in the very near future. I specifically loved doing the final project, I ended up doing two, one at the end went wrong I am still trying to figure out what went wrong. But it has been a steep learning curve and fun at the same time.
It was great to revisit Javascript and learn about AI in this course. In addition to learning about API integration, I enjoyed putting together the final project and bringing the HTML, API/Javascript and CSS together when building the poem generator. I particularly enjoyed the second week where I could follow along when building the final project: for me, this was really helpful as I could see the workflow of how I could build something like this again in the future.

This has been such a wonderful experience! The last computer language I learned was Fortran (I'm no spring π). But it was so much fun, especially since my two daughters who live in Europe were also registered for the course at the same time. Creating this weather application from the ground up has greatly improved my web development skills. I gained practical experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, mastering the art of structuring, styling, and dynamically updating web content. Fetching live weather data from APIs using Axios and integrating it into the app with JavaScript provided a valuable learning experience. Additionally, managing user input and accurately displaying weather forecasts enhanced my grasp of JavaScript functions and asynchronous operations.
