I have enjoyed this introduction to coding very much. It has been so much fun, with lots to learn and some errors along the way but with always a solution. I cannot wait to start the next chapter!

At first, coding felt like learning a whole new language from scratch. I struggled with syntax, logic, and especially JavaScript. But with practice and patience, small wins turned into real progress. Completing the SheCodes Beginner class has been an incredibly empowering experience. I grew up around coding and computers because my dad is programmer/engineer. However, I never saw the luster behind understanding how a computer works and did everything to stay away from it. The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop was an amazing experience that really helped me deepen my understanding of advanced JavaScript. Learning JavaScript has definitely been challenging, but the course has met and even exceeded my expectations. As an Engineer I am very happy with She Codes, I have learnt a lot, and I am confident I can now use it to assist me code programs for my work.

This course was very similar to the Basics course, with small variations through adding new css features. It was quite repetetive and a bit slower paced than Basics. However, you still learn many incredibly useful features to use when styling a website. Therefore, I would definitely recommend this!

I have already recommended this workshop to many people. With SheCodes, my understanding of tech and my curiosity to expand my knowledge further have been well guided and fed. Providing plenty of learning space and encouraging deeper research, while also keeping an empathetic and friendly environment that differentiates it from bootcamps and schools that would try too hard and end up tiring and confusing learners unnecessarily. What a great experience! I thought I would mostly enjoy the visual part of creating a landing page. However, I found myself enjoying the search for ways I could improve the code and even how to fix bugs 🕵️‍♀️. I can't wait to learn more.

I'm so happy that I have another coding language I can add to my repertoire, I had a lot of fun learning this. There were so many links to javascript, much easier to pick this up this time around.

The lessons were well-structured for beginners. The basics course was organised in a way that it was not overwhelming to newbies. The challenges were extremely helpful in putting the lessons into practice right after learning about a new concept.

I am learning a lot on Shecodes and am looking forward to completing the programs..

Loved this! Learning more about forms, how to utilize them and how to inject time and timezones was a lot fun. I will say it again repetition as well as trial and error are what help you retain the knowledge. When it gets challenging, taking a deep breath, water break or whatever helps you and then go through your code step-by-step and you will figure it out. 😊

I had such a great time with the SheCodes Responsive Workshop! It was honestly so cool to learn how to make websites that work perfectly on phones and laptops. The lessons were easy to follow, and I loved building my own portfolio site—it felt so rewarding! Athena explains things in a way that just clicks, even tricky stuff like Flexbox. I went from being nervous about coding to feeling super confident. The community was amazing, always cheering each other on. I’m already pumped for the next course to keep learning. I’m so grateful for the chance to take part in the SheCodes Plus workshop. When I first started, I only knew the very basics, but learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in such a beginner-friendly way has really helped me grow and gain confidence. It’s been such an exciting journey, and I can’t wait to keep building on these skills. I truly hope more women get to experience this program and discover how fun and empowering coding can be.

It was a good learning curve adjusting the code of my vanilla JS weather app to React. I built it with Vite since the suggested create-react-app has been deprecated, and the tutorial videos of this workshop haven't been updated in a few years it seems, so I wanted to try to learn up-to-date methods, which meant using React, Vite and Netlify documentation and YouTube videos to learn what I needed to complete this project in React.

The SheCodes React course was challenging and moved quickly. While the early weeks felt a little disorganized and not always aligned with the homework, the last two weeks returned to the strong SheCodes style I’ve seen in other classes, walking us through an app step by step. In the end, I gained the core React foundations I need for front-end development. If you’re considering it, expect a steep learning curve, but it’s worth it.

I am a physical therapist who has always been curious about how things work. I started building computers when I was young but coding seemed a lot harder. I am so glad I can finally understand how the basics work and I cannot wait to learn more.

During the She Codes advanced Python course, I really enjoyed learning how to work with data and create graphs. It was fun to actually visualize the information in a way that made sense. At the same time, I found it quite challenging to manage lists and dictionaries correctly and to make sure the indentation was right, since that often affects how the code runs. Overall, the course pushed me to think more carefully about how my code is structured, and I feel proud of what I was able to build. This course challenged me to be more thoughtful about code structure and best practices, and I’m proud of the projects I completed.

Wow, that was amazing but it was also the course, where I struggled the most. My advise: Watch all videos until the last one. And then start to code, some of my questions have been answered in videos, which followed later. Anyway, I am glad to completed this challenge and I learned a lot amazing stuff!

SheCodes Plus AI was an amazing experience! I learned how to integrate AI APIs and apply them to real-world projects. One of my favorite parts was building a French Poem Generator, which brought together creativity and coding in such a fun way. This course gave me the confidence to work with AI tools and inspired me to keep exploring the endless possibilities of AI in web development.

I learned a great deal from this coding course and am much more confident in my skills now. The projects were challenging and helped me apply the concepts in a practical way. While I learned a lot from watching the instructor code, I would have found it even more beneficial if there were more explanations about the 'why' behind certain coding decisions. Overall, it was a very valuable experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to build their coding knowledge.

I can't believe how much I learned in just 3 weeks and how I got to apply it immediately (instant gratification alert). It was very well taught & I got to feel creative. Highly recommend for anyone who has always wanted to learn but too intidimated by other courses out there.

Great course overall, some parts felt a bit repetitive, but the content is still valuable. And I was alble to easily apply what I learned and transform almost all my project into React.

I enjoyed learning about grids and animating them. I can now add these elements to my portfolios and projects. It was not as complicated as I had expected it to be.
