I have just completed the She Codes Responsive course, and it has been an incredibly enriching experience. I gained hands-on experience with VSCode, learned to manage my code with Git and GitHub, and utilized Bootstrap to build responsive layouts. The course also provided essential knowledge on hosting and SEO, which are crucial for optimizing and deploying websites. I have been wanting to learn coding for years but I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars and years getting a degree and most boot camps seemed really intimidating. I have loved the way that she codes teaches and I love how easy it is to fit into my day to day. I can't wait to continue learning with them!
This was a very informative workshop. I've code in Python for a couple of years now so I think that it did cover this basics very well and this was a very approachable way to learn this basics. I thought the API lessons were a good refresh for reading through json and integrating API with the programming language to make the interface more readable.

This course is great. It teaches really nice styling concepts in CSS and it's also a good refresher on JavaScript concepts learnt in the previous course. As usual, the lessons are all short and straight to the point.
The hands-on experience really helped me learn and understand the concepts better. Being able to apply what I was learning made everything clearer and more practical. The submission deadlines encouraged me to complete the assignments on time and move to the next stage, making it an interactive approach to learn and build :)

SheCodes Basics is the perfect course for anyone looking to start out learning how to code remotely in their own time. While I had already learned a bit of HTML and JavaScript before, I didn't really have a great understanding of how I can really use these languages. For many years, I saw languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as things impossible to handle, at least for me. I was always very curious about them, but I always thought that to understand them, I would need an extra level of math or logical reasoning. With SheCodes, I realized that all of this was just a myth. It's, of course, in extremely different proportions, like learning a cake recipe. You know that if you use honey instead of sugar, the taste wonβt be the same. Or if you add the wrong amount of baking powder, your cake wonβt even look like a cake. I believe that if youβre eager to learn, focused, and a detail-oriented person, it can work out for you just as it did for me. So, I encourage you to dive into this workshop! π
