I'm grateful to have been a part of the SheCodes Plus workshop, after coming from the SheCodes Basics, I felt a bit more equipped and motivated to complete my certification on time(even though I had to change my start date twice,hehe, I still managed to push through on time). The workshop’s detailed videos were invaluable, guiding me through new concepts like weather API integration, JavaScript functions, a bit of the confusing object-oriented programming, and Git for version control. These insights have greatly expanded my skills and knowledge base, preparing me for future coding challenges. A big thank you to the SheCodes team for making this learning journey so impactful!

A very challenging course this was! As challenging as it was, Matt made it easier to learn and understand. I had a great time learning React and I think I have found my stack. It is so far my favourite language.

Matt explains everything on details, the short videos with challenges helps to practice and fix the content learned. It's being a really nice experience so far.

This course teaches you the basics of Python. It is very easy to understand and follow. There are practices for you to test your knowledge right after each session so you do not forget what you have learned.

I'm just surprised at myself and how I learn and finish my projects.

Coding isn’t what we see on televisions but more fun in reality when you get to understand the basics and all I can say I had fun through out the project and definitely want to learn more.

My experience with the SheCodes React Add-on Dictionary project was both challenging and rewarding. The 3 week challenge was amazing I got to learn new interesting things that have sparked more interest for me to keep learning and sharpen my coding skills, it was a bit challenging as I I was also jingling school work on the side but I’m glad I pulled through.

This was a nice easy-to-follow course in bite-size pieces, with which you slowly but surely build up the different skills needed to put together a page at the end of each week. You then put everything that you have learnt in the course in a final project at the end, which is very satisfying. It is a very helpful step-by-step guide to learning how to code. This course also allows me to code independently while being guided which is very much helpful to beginners!

Going into this new venture I had an intimidating expectation of how coding would treat me, regardless of whether or not I would be determined enough to face it head-on. Lesson by lesson, week by week, all of my fears of failure were alleviated. Each skill learned enabled me to grow more confident and comfortable even in times where learning and understanding the application of certain concepts did not come easy. I do not regret my decision of learning coding with SheCodes.
