It's been an amazing journey learning with Shecodes despite taking a long break in between due to busy work schedules, the learning videos are very helpful for revision and catch ups. This was a really great crash course into Reactjs! I actually signed up for this workshop 2 years ago but due to life getting in the way I ended up pausing on finishing this even though I was on week 5 of the course. 2 years later I finally had the time to invest back in myself and I logged back on recently. I pulled up my half-finished project and I, to my amazement, could still remember quite alot of what i had learned in 2022. I ended up rewatching all the courses over this last week and half or so just to refresh myself on the content and I was able to finally finish my weather app! It's not perfect but i'm really proud of the fact I finished it. Super thankful to the shecodes team for the quality of the teachings, so much so that I was able to remember so much of the foundational pieces even years later. I had fun learning about all the new updates to Reactjs as well!

Starting the program, I was hesitant about how much I would be able to learn within the short specified time, yes its a bit more challenging too, but when you have mastered the concepts you are good to go. Basic Ads On was a little bit challenging and I really loved creating the landing page ,Its like you are building a house from the scratch foundation. It was really fun and kept me busy all time. Taking the SheCodes AI Add-on course was a great experience! I got to build an AI Quote Generator, which was a lot of fun and really kept me engaged. The course was easy to follow, and now I feel more confident in working with AI. Iβd recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn more about AI.

The videos made everything so clear and easy to understand. The challenges were tough, but I learned a lot and feel great about what Iβve achieved. Iβm really happy with the results! I also challenged myself by using the SheCodes API, even though this method wasnβt explained in the videos. It was a fun and educational extra challenge!

This section of the course was a lit bit hard for me , it even delayed my finishing of the course but i really enjoyed and learned from my mistakes. Learned about React basics, States, Events, Forms, Conditional Rendering, Loops, AJAX, External Components.

SheCodes Plus provides a solid introduction to fundamental JavaScript concepts, making it a great starting point for beginners. This part of the course covers key topics like using forEach loops and retrieving data from APIs with tools such as Axios, guiding you towards creating fully functional dynamic apps. A a bit more emphasis on explaining the underlying logic, particularly around loops, would be helpful, in order to train your brain to understand and develop code independently. Overall, the learning experience has been enjoyable, and the course offers a strong foundation in JavaScript, perfect for those just beginning their coding journey.

I thouroughly enjoyed this course. I have always had a love for tech and creativity. I feel web development is the best path when combining the two. The SheCodes Basic course is very well-structured because it teaches you the sub-topics in small batches. This is great especially if you're learning something new. The coding of my final project was the most fun I've had in a while. I must admit though that I did take a while to find a topic to code about. Also I was so excited to coded that I did so without laying down a design first, and that led me to changing my code a lot. However, once I found my topic and started creating this web page, I was on a roll and, in the end, I am super happy with my final result.
Enjoyable workshop! I studied Bootstrap in greater depth and learned how to import it into my project. I discovered how to host a multi-page website using GitHub and Netlify. I learned how to build a responsive navigation bar using a hamburger button menu to toggle between pages. For this specific project, I explored more utility CSS classes and responsive techniques. I also learned how to make my projects responsive using Bootstrap, as well as without it, using only vanilla CSS, HTML, and media queries. I focused intensely on CSS grids, responsive CSS grids, HTML tables, CSS filters, CSS Hero, and how to use HTML embeds. I learned how to embed parts of other websites into my personal website, such as YouTube videos, Instagram posts and Google Maps. Additionally, I learned how to use the console to view my website on different devices, ensuring it was successfully responsive. I love spoken word, so I included a poem in this project. I hope you like it! I had a great time working on this one.

It has been quite the week, but I am finally getting the hang of it. The workshop is pretty detailed, when you get lost, you can go back and review it. The community is also very helpful. There are several times I got stranded, but help was only hours away. Learning is a fun-loving process and I look forward to the next workshops.

I have no prior knowledge about coding until I came across SheCodes on one of the groups I belong to on Facebook. I put in my application and that's one of the best decisions I've made so far. I thought coding is men's thing, but SheCodes is changing the narratives. I believe with everything I've learnt I can change my family financial status.
My passion is making a contribution in the world and now I found that I can solve some of the world's problems by coding which I knew about when I started university. It was just awesome how you can write code and see something happening with the code you wrote, now I strive to always improve my coding skills and I am grateful to platforms such as SheCodes which gives Girls opportunities to learn and grow our coding skills and making a contribution to the world.
Honestly, this workshop was not easy, but thanks to instructor Matt and the whole SheCodes team, I was able to advance from basic to more advanced skills. The Basics Add On course was a great way to expand on the skills from the Introduction. It was so easy to follow and made me excited to learn a lot more. SheCodes does a brilliant job of giving you time to work through each lesson at your own pace. The best part of the entire experience is the challenge after each lesson to give you practice.
