I was able to learn a tremendous amount due to this class. I learned how to be persistent in my coding and how to debug my application properly.

This workshop was both informative and engaging. I enjoyed learning how to create a responsive multi-page website, host it online, and optimize it for SEO. I’m excited to continue learning about responsive design in the upcoming add-on workshop!

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. As someone with no prior knowledge of coding or Python, it was exciting to challenge myself in this new field. Creating a world clock was a fun and rewarding project. I enjoyed the challenge of working with different time zones and figuring out how to display the correct time for cities around the world. Participating in SheCodes Responsive Workshop was an incredible experience. While I gained hands-on skills in HTML, CSS and Bootstrap, the journey was not without its challenges. I can't believe how much you get to learn in the Basic course! I had a basic CSS understanding for the little bits I needed to do for work, but as I'm learning web design I wanted to be able to customise if needed, but it felt very scary. Having the course broken down into separate languages/formats each week allowed you to get the understanding for how each bit worked independently and how they work together for you to build functioning code and web pages! It didn't feel overwhelming, though a few bits took a bit of getting the hang of (kept putting my brackets in the wrong place!), but you feel proud and accomplished when it works. Feel that I might want to look at the other courses to see how I could advance and what else you can learn.

I am really enjoying the flow of this course: tutorials, challenges and projects make it a great way to learn and apply the learning.

Learning React was an incredible experience! The course content was well-structured and covered everything from the basics to advanced concepts like useStates, useEffect, React components among others clearly and comprehensively. When my husband started his coding class, I was intrigued and wanted to learn coding myself. I looked online and tried a few coding websites, but had the feeling I wasn't learning anything.
