I started SheCodes about a month ago with zero coding experience. The videos and challenges make it really easy to learn. I especially enjoyed the final project for the Basics Workshop because it allowed me to apply all of the concepts I learned in the first few weeks.
There was a couple of weeks where the workshops really pushed me, but by the end of week 8 it's amazing to reflect back on how far you've come and all the things you have learnt. Definetely recommend to anyone interested in front-end development!

I always was interested in coding, but didn't know which avenue to take to ensure the best results. Then I came across the "SheCodes" ad on social media and decided to take a look at it. I had already learned Python before starting this module, so it was a nice little practice for me, and I enjoyed the final project! I was introduced to a new Python library (RICH) and compared using Python vs. Javascript after focusing solely on JS for a while. Once again, Matt does a wonderful job of breaking the learning into easily digestible bites, which makes the learning feel easy while still challenging.
React is definitely challenging, especially when you're just starting out, but itβs an amazing framework that helps you learn a lot of important skills in front-end development. I recommend it to anyone looking to improve their coding abilities, but be preparedβit takes time, dedication, and a lot of patience to really get the hang of it.

SheCodes Responsive Add-On was by far the most challenging course Iβve taken, but also the most rewarding. I learned the true value of building responsive websites from scratch instead of relying on pre-designed templates like Bootstrap. This approach pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me gain a deeper understanding of web development fundamentals. Itβs an experience thatβs made me a more confident and capable coder!
