At first, I didnβt think Iβd enjoy coding with React as much as vanilla, but as the course went on, I found myself loving it even more. Now, whenever I think about building a new website, I automatically imagine it in a React format. The deeper knowledge I gained in this course has completely shifted the way I approach web development. The final project, where I built a fully functioning dictionary app using multiple APIs, really pushed me to apply everything Iβd learned. It felt amazing to bring it all together. This course has made me even more confident in React, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take their skills to the next level!

This course was above my expectations. I have already made some unsuccessful attempts to learn web development. I would usually quit because the explanations were not clear enough. However, this course is different as it is clear and concise. The tutorials are correct to the point, especially for JavaScript. I managed to learn a lot from the Basic course only. I will be moving into the more advanced Plus course. I also like the flexibility of deadlines, as sometimes life happens, and it is good that extensions are possible.
When I came across Shecodes, i was excited but even though I love technology I wasnβt sure I could do it. Plus was very challenging, it needs for you to focus and go back and do some challenges again so that you may be able to understand, it is a build-up so you cannot miss anything. Overall, it was nice, but I won't lie, it is getting more and more tricky, but hopefully I continue to learn and grow and hopefully figure everything out.

This is a fantastic introduction course that keeps you motivated, happy and curious throughout while showing you the huge power of coding early on. It's also a best-practice example of asynchronous learning done RIGHT, without the risk of losing commitment! There's a lot of thought put into the order of the classes, and Matt is talented at gradually introducing complexity, telling you just what you need to know when you need to know it. I was always motivated to come back for "just another lesson", which felt like play rather than just learning. I also appreciated that there was a TON of focus on adopting best-practice workflows early on, ensuring your code is clean and that you're working in the most efficient way possible. I cannot wait to continue this journey!
It was really fun learning how to write code that would produce different information for different time zones. The project had some challenging moments but the overall learning experience was great!

Basics Add-on has been really insightful and I've learned so much within just one week. The main part that I was looking forward to was creating image grids and making my page look more aesthetically pleasing with CSS. Anyone who has completed Basics should definitely consider looking into Basics Add-on as there's so many interesting and useful HTML elements to learn at beginner level.
