I enjoyed this course and learning more about how to create React apps.

Completing this project helped me develop real-world web development skills. I learned to build interactive websites with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and gained a deeper understanding of UI design and responsive layouts. This experience has increased my confidence as a coding student, and I would definitely recommend this course to anyone starting their journey as a coder.

Building this AI joke generator was actually so much fun! I learned how to work with APIs and create a chat interface that feels really interactive. The best part was making it South African-themed with jokes about load shedding and Eskom - it's relatable and hilarious!

The Basics Add on Workshop gave me the opportunity to build on what I had already learned in the Basics course. I worked with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in ways that made more sense than before, especially through the small projects and exercises. Seeing my code actually work and produce results was motivating and helped me understand how different parts fit together. The workshop allowed me to work at my own pace, which was important because it gave me time to fully understand concepts I found tricky. I also learned to approach problems more systematically and gained confidence in experimenting with code without fear of making mistakes. Overall, this workshop strengthened my coding skills, reinforced my understanding of the fundamentals, and gave me the confidence to continue learning. It was a rewarding experience that made me feel capable of taking on bigger coding challenges.

The things I've learnt to do, to this point, once seemed far from my capabilities. I was nervous to be honest, but once I started I kept going and things became clearer along the way

Through this workshop, I learned how to work with JavaScript libraries like Moment.js and handle dynamic time zones. Creating the World Clock project really strengthened my confidence in front-end development. It's amazing 🥰

It was good fun and I decided to make a multi choice AI generator rather than a single option generator. I tried to use all the learned skills so far and remind myself of how far I have come as a newbie!

Ive been taking this frontend development course for a while now, and honestly, its been such a good experience. I am currently learning how to build responsive websites, and things are finally starting to ‘click’ for me. I did take a long break at one point, and I was worried that I would forget everything, but jumping back in felt way easier than I expected. The lessons are clear, practical and they really help you understand what you’re doing instead of just following steps. Ive learned so much and I genuinely feel more confident every time I finish a new section :)

There was so much to learn for this workshop. Sometimes really challenging. However, it was well explained and at the end of it, incredibly rewarding to see the ability to create a responsive website that works on any device.

This was a challenging module but I felt like I learned a lot and really enjoyed it.

Completing the She Codes React course has been an incredibly empowering experience. This was a great course - learning about how to make the world clock was a really interesting project.

Learning Python with SheCodes was an exciting experience. The lessons and exercises really push you to think in a clearer and more structured way. I personally do not think that I would have learn this skills just by reading it somewhere. The way the lessons are explained makes it easier to grasp the concept of coding. I really enjoyed the Python AI Workshop and learning how to combine Python with AI and APIs to build real, functional projects. The workshop boosted my confidence in coding and made learning Python fun and practical!

It was hard but very interesting!!!! It challenged me and a good feeling of learning!

This was a huge milestone for me. I made every mistake possible, repeated containers, threw classes around like they were free, and named things with zero meaning until my code turned into a mountain of classes with no meaning. The project looked great on the outside, but behind the scenes it was heavy, messy, and absolutely not maintainable. So I refactored it just about 20 times. In the end, I learned more than I expected not just about layout and my old nemeses (positioning and grid 😅), but about writing clean, maintainable code.

Python, so far, has been so much easier for me to understand than JavaScript and I've really enjoyed learning more and applying my new knowledge to the AI Roadtrip Planner project.

I’ve just completed the basic Python course, and while I have to admit that the instructor was right: Python’s interface can look a bit dull and not very visually exciting. I still learned a great deal from the lessons. The course started off simple, but it gradually became more complex, especially toward the end, so I’m proud to have worked through it and finished. Even though the visual side of Python isn’t flashy, the logic and structure behind the language are really powerful, and I feel like I now have a strong foundation to build on. I’m glad I stuck with it and completed the course. 😅

I really enjoyed the 'Add On' element to the She Codes Basics course. I had a lot of fun learning about all the different functions you can use to make a site more interesting and interactive.

I joined SheCodes feeling quite intimidated by code, but this workshop changed that completely. The lessons are short, clear, and very well structured, and I really like how each concept is followed immediately by a small exercise or project. Building real projects with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (like the landing page with dark/light mode and animations) helped me understand why I was writing each line of code, not just copying it. Python coding is a great tool to add to my skillset. Hence, I enrolled in this class to learn the basics. At my workplace, I've already started coding small projects (succesfully whoo!), though the basics I learned were far from what I need at my job (btw I need to use pyvisa, panda etc.) I have the basics to get me started, I just need to lookup the proper syntax, some googling and reading scpi commands from the manuals. This is great for beginners and completely digestible! AI tool is great but without knowing the basics, it's like driving an autopilot car without knowing how to drive. Happy coding!

I've completed other coding courses in the past and have learned a great deal, gaining a better understanding of what each component does. So far, I'm happy with joining this boot camp!

It was definetly fun completing this programme , I learned a lot ,i could say CSS Grid was my favourite to learn

I loved completing another project with API integration, this time using AI! I really enjoyed learning about both and bringing them together in one project. I also appreciate the constant revision aspect of these workshops, as well as the opportunity to contribute to a new project each time. Learning responsive web design through SheCodes was challenging at times, but incredibly empowering once I caught on and was able to create an efficient website. Lots of nights going to bed in the am's. I’ve learnt so much, most importantly the program is very rewarding. I have learnt to appreciate and interact with websites differently. The mind is a wonderful tool when exercised, and this section of the program has made me feel like I'm on the right path.

In his book Atomic Habits, author James Clear mentions the research work of psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi on "flow states." The idea is that humans do best when a task is about 4-5% greater than their current abilities, enough to be engaged and prevent boredom but not so challenging that the person gets frustrated and gives up. Matt has a very good intuition for this. Each lesson or challenge contains just enough of an increase in difficulty to build confidence and encourage the student to keep learning.

I really enjoyed this workshop, it was very informative, and interesting. I learned a lot and can’t wait for what's next! 😊

Building the React Weather App was such a fun project! I got to use everything I’ve learned about React — hooks, APIs, and responsive design — and it was so satisfying to see live weather data update in real time. It really boosted my confidence in creating interactive apps from scratch.

My SheCodes journey has truly been life-changing. When I started, I knew very little about coding, but SheCodes gave me the confidence and support to believe that I could build real projects on my own. Really enjoyed this course and building on my skills from SheCodes Basic. I love the teaching method, resources and flexibility of SheCodes, it really suits my learning style and I had to take an unexpected break during this course and it was great to be able to request extensions and pick it back up once I was ready to continue.

Learning basic coding has been an eye-opening experience. It taught me how logic and creativity work together to solve problems and build something from scratch. Even simple projects, like creating a webpage gave me a sense of accomplishment and confidence. Coding has also improved my critical thinking, patience, and attention to detail. These skills that are useful far beyond the computer screen.

With this add-on, you learn to make a responsive project on your own and without the bootstrap system, very interesting to show it this way.

Shecodes approach for teaching coding is tremendous. During learning, we had to do the assignments otherwise we could not jump to the next one. I personally watch only videos instead of practicing which is not a good habit but this method of Matt forces students to practice. I love the everything.
