I enjoyed working on the weather app project. Although I struggled with JS sometimes, I learned a lot in the past 8 weeks!
This workshop was quite the journey! Learning about React was intense but rewarding. Adding components created game-changing ways to what features could be made and integrated into the project. There were many moments of racking my brain and scouring the internet for answers to unruly code but it was still enjoyable.
Its been a good journey learning the basics of coding and I find it really interesting so far. This is a continuous journey I will do and believing in myself I will do it!

The Shecodes Plus add-on course has helped me improve and build upon what I learnt during the Plus course, it was interesting to learn how to use moments to select any current time based on time zone.
This has been a very interesting and challenging workshop. In as much as it was challenging I enjoyed every minute of it. Watching the weather app come to life and knowing I was the one responsible for making everything work was a real motivator to continue learning how to code and see what more I can do with the skills I've acquired on this project. All this couldn't have happened without the coding instructor Matthieu Delac who makes it really easy to learn and understand coding.

I really enjoy the workshop. Before it, I never imagined myself coding because I always thought coding is something really boring, dry and difficult. Now, I find myself glued to the laptop to code everywhere as I love designing and learning new things. Matt designs Shecodes in a way that is easy to follow but also challenge the students. I got all the assistance I need when I'm stuck.
This course was very educational regarding coding Websites with API integration and learning how to manage a bigger project with multiple files to keep the code easier to understand and more structured. It also teaches a lot of different techniques on how to make your code cleaner and more polished.

I enjoyed learning React and being able to integrate different components. It opened to new possibilities by adding other features to the project, such as animated icons. While at times it seemed complex keeping track of how each piece fit, it really made sense and felt overall organized in the end. I also found it empowering being able to not only use professional tools, but being able to troubleshoot issues I came across during this project through independent searches and trial and error.
I really enjoyed SheCodes Plus workshop as you learn more advanced JavaScript and working on weather app was very challenging.
I absolutely loved this course! It was amazing to learn advanced CSS techniques, especially implementing dark/light themes. The functionality is super cool and practical. A big thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for such an insightful and engaging experience!

I can't believe how much I've learned in just the first portion of this coding program! From writing my first HTML tags to styling elements with CSS and making things interactive with JavaScript, each day brought exciting new discoveries. Sure, there were moments of frustration as in forgetting that whenever you open a tag it must also be closed. However, the thrill of seeing my code come to life on screen made it all worthwhile. I've gone from being intimidated by brackets and semicolons to confidently building simple landing page. While I know I'm just scratching the surface, this first week has sparked a genuine passion for coding that I never expected. I'm amazed at how the puzzle pieces of web development are starting to fit together!
