SheCodes.io is one of the best courses I have attended so far. In the online sessions, Matt explains every code snippet which is very helpful for us auditory people who learn most effectively by listening. He uses simple, easy-to-understand terminology. If you just code along with him in the lessons, you'll be fine.
A great introduction to Python. As with all the other SheCodes Workshops I have done, the content is clear and well organised. The learning is broken down into bite-sized chunks and students are given plenty of opportunity to practise what they have learned.

Been able to learn alot this past weeks on Web development such as building weather application & forecast from the start till the end. being able to use different tool such as Git, github, netlify was an amazing and interesting skill to learn for the first time.
SheCodes Plus has been a challenging but very fun experience, and has truly helped me to gain a better understanding of JS concepts. I like that Matt provides recaps of previous lessons to ensure full understanding - the repetition is extremely useful especially when learning a new skill. Completing the Responsive course has been a game-changer for my development skills. This workshop had me scratching my head many times while I tried to sort out the challenges. My project came out passable, but someday I will go back and improve it. Now that I know more, I realize how much more there is to learn. The pictures of books in my final project aren't exactly the same size, but it's a bit like my bookshelf! Nonetheless, it was a very useful workshop and it is another stone along the way. This just leaves the challenge still open to go back and improve once I learn a bit more.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes Plus course and final project. I have definitely learnt a lot through the different workshops for this course and look forward to the next segment/project.

I've always been intimated by coding, or anything pertaining to tech to be honest (the behind the scenes portion of it), but after taking SheCodes Basics workshop, I was less intimidated and more open to the idea of exploring tech as a career shift. I loved the flexibility of the courses, you can go at your own pace which is needed sometimes, but I also liked the idea of a push (deadlines). I plan to further my knowledge in coding with SheCodes when the time is right 😊. SheCodes add-on project was so nice. Glad for the gift of the SheCodes. Learnt a lot of things from CSS transform to CSS Grid to HTML Class Manipulation and then crowning it all with adding of Dark theme to a webpage. Love it all.
I still remember the countless nights I spent staring at lines of code, feeling like I was getting nowhere. There were times when I felt like giving up, when the bugs seemed too hard to fix and the concepts seemed too complex to grasp. But I persisted. I spent hours upon hours studying, practicing, and pushing myself to learn more.I faced setbacks and failures, but I used each one as an opportunity to learn and grow. And then, slowly but surely, things started to click. The code began to make sense, the concepts became clearer, and the projects started to come together with the help of Delac Foundation. Looking back, I realize that the journey was just as important as the destination. The struggles, the setbacks, and the frustrations all taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, hard work, and creativity. They helped me develop a growth mindset, a willingness to learn, and a passion for problem-solving. To anyone who is just starting out on their own journey in software development, I would say this: don't be afraid to struggle, don't be discouraged by setbacks, and don't give up on your dreams. The journey may be hard, but it is worth it. With persistence, dedication, and a willingness to learn, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

This is such an enjoyable way of learning to code, I am so happy that I have started the Basic course, and continuing to SheCodes Plus. I find the videos very clear and detailed and easy to learn from them, always can stop and go back to something to understand it better and practice. It is really helpful to use the Slack messaging platform to ask for assistance and get some advice on some of my challenges.

After completing the SheCodes Basics and Add-On program, I was very curious to continue with the Bootcamp option, and I just finished the SheCodes Plus program. I found it super funny to learn how to code in a flex and easy way, the explanations are always very clear and I feel happy and satisfied of the final result. It makes you feel that anything is possible, even something that felt so difficult as coding. Definitely recommend it!

I don't know why I dreaded starting the Python workshop; it was amazing! I enjoyed this workshop because it helped me realize how similar programming languages are, especially after learning about Javascript during the SheCodes Plus workshops. The lessons were clear and concise, making it easy for me to work on the challenges and homework. The final project was also fun and incorporated everything I've learned throughout the past five weeks.
Completing the React Add-On course has really shown me how much I've learnt over the course of the bootcamp! It was great to build a dictionary using React, revisit Bootstrap, grid-box, and other CSS features from earlier in the course. I've finished the Add-On course with more confidence when using React, and motivation to continue practising using it moving forward.

Editing HTML with CSS has always been a nightmare for me. I am not a web designer and neither am I a theory person. So some external training videos and articles only increased my anxiety so I stopped trying to learn HTML and CSS. I have always been in the backend development only. In Matt's tutorial videos, the placement of div, and the way to use inspect to see where my padding/margin issues are, it was mind-blowing and made a lot of sense. With Matt's video, I was able to understand the theory without even trying harder. I'm amazed at myself when I can easily build a landing page. Of course with some additional resource references, but hey, it's still great progress for me! Kudos to me for trusting SheCodes and kudos to the SheCodes team for turning my wish list into a reality!

The React 6-week course was the perfect introduction to React. Everything is well explained and it was great to put together a weather application using React to see how it works in practice. I also enjoyed following along with the tutorial, but using the SheCodes API to build the application. Whilst Matt used the OpenWeather API at the time of the recording, I found it useful having a different API to use, to learn from his method, but adapt it based on a different API resource. I would highly recommend this course!
