The workshop was easy to follow, the lessons were split up into good chunks and that made it possible to learn new things whenever there was time for it. The workshop prepared me well and allowed me to practice every new thing I learned, so I actually felt like I didn't need a lot of help to get my project done. Matt is a great teacher and doesn't use complex language where it isn't needed - you can tell he knows not only how to do those things, but also how to get the knowledge across to newbies. The SheCodes Plus Add-on workshop has been a fantastic experience. Building a world clock gave me the chance to learn how to use libraries like Moment.js to add functionalities to my projects more organically (and we all know working with date and time can get tricky). Working on the CSS for this project was also quite fun since I decided to add a custom-made background to it. In addition to that, the challenges and weekly homework assignments really helped provide a hands-on experience.
I think its a good workshop if you want to learn something and loose the fear for the conding world. For me it was perfect since I could do it where ever I wanted, whenever I had time for it and it was a lot if fun! However it is quite easy to pass, for those that just want to get a certificate since you can always change your answers and the final project is described bit by bit.

Embarking on this project exercise has been an incredible learning journey. From setting up the project on GitHub to deploying it on Netlify, every step has taught me valuable skills in version control, collaboration, and web deployment. Through this exercise, Iβve gained hands-on experience with Git commands, resolving merge conflicts, and managing branches effectively. I learned how to push local changes to GitHub seamlessly and how Netlify simplifies the process of hosting live websites with its continuous deployment feature. Iβm grateful for the challenges I faced along the way, as they pushed me to deepen my knowledge and problem-solving skills.
This project was so fun to create! I appreciated learning about grids as I enjoy playing around with different layouts, and I love being able to use embeds in my project, making it more interactive to the user. I would love to continue working on this project and develop more projects like this in the future!
