The SheCodes basics add on workshop was a bit easier than the basics workshop, because one has gotten the flow of things so it's easier to learn because I am more familiar with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This workshop overall was definitely a valuable workshop, important lessons were taught it was great.
This was a great challenge. Initially, it was hard for me grasping Python, AI, and API concepts in one, but the workshop guided me step by step. I'm now confident that I'm exceptionally good at APIs and can use them in any scenario as long as I stick to the core principals I learned throughout this workshop.

I've been studying a JavaScript course since last year but had to put it aside for personal reasons, and I've just recently picked it up again. SheCodes has significantly helped me enhance my skills in JavaScript and CSS. Although I am still progressing through the learning curve, I am in a much stronger position.
SheCodes plus was quite challenging but I have gained more skills especially in vanilla javascript which has helped me build a fully functional weather app. I also really enjoyed learning about Github, API integration and hosting my projects on Netlify.

The SheCodes React Add-on course was a game-changer in my coding journey! It took my understanding of React to the next level with practical, hands-on learning. One of the highlights of the course was building a Dictionary Appβa fully functional project that allowed me to apply everything I had learned about components, props, APIs, and responsive design. Creating the Dictionary App boosted my confidence in working with real-time data and managing React components effectively. It was so satisfying to see the app come to life and realize just how much Iβd grown as a developer. The lessons were clear, the challenges were engaging, and the support from the SheCodes community made the experience even more enjoyable. I now feel more prepared to take on more advanced projects and excited to continue growing as a front-end developer.

As usual, I am learning so much on my own time. Years ago, there was an unhealthy stereotype that girls could not code. I want to thank Matt and his entire team for destroying such stereotype.
Learning Python was a surprisingly fun experience. I didn't have a lot to say at first, but one thing that stood out is that indentation was a real struggle! It tripped me up more times than I would like to admit. Still, I pushed through, and I am proud of how far I have come.

Learning how to implement Bootstrap features without actually using Bootstrap was exciting. It helped me understand CSS Grid and other CSS techniques even better. Managing theme changes and working with JavaScript made the experience even more rewarding.

Prior to joining SheCodes, I attempted to self-educate the fundamental concepts of coding. While I acquired the necessary terminology, I lacked practical experience. However, SheCodes provided me with comprehensive learning opportunities and enabled me to apply my knowledge effectively. I feel so empowered to transition into the world of tech after this three week course! Inspecting random websites to see how they were coded and being able to understand most of the coding is an unmatched feeling. I can't wait to learn more in advanced courses :)
The SheCodes Responsive was such a great experience, I learnt how to make websites look good on all screen sizes, and I really improved my HTML, CSS, and media query skills. It was challenging at time, but super rewarding.

I enjoyed learning how to create this dictionary app. At times it was challenging. I'm feeling more comfortable with react and how to create in it.
This has been a roller-coaster, but I truly enjoyed the learning. This one was a bit tough for me won't lie but also doable at the same time.

Learning how to use grid layouts, animations, element manipulation, and theme switching has completely transformed the way I approach web design. Grids gave me the structure I needed to make clean, responsive layouts, while animations added life and interactivity to my pages. Being able to manipulate elements dynamically helped me create engaging user experiences, and theme changes gave my projects a professional, modern touch. These skills have boosted both my creativity and confidence as a developer.
Great for absolute beginners. I have learned some great skills here that will help me further my own learning. Would be nice if the projects had some feedback though and not just 'it passes'. That would help with knowing what to do better etc.

This was fun! What puzzles me is just how Matt explains everything so clearly making it easy for one to follow and grasp each concept. This has been a great learning experience and I canβt wait to learn more about coding.
Working with JavaScript and Moment.js has significantly improved my ability to create dynamic, real-time applications. I gained hands-on experience with DOM manipulation, time formatting, and handling time zones across different regions. Using moment-timezone, I learned how to detect the userβs local time zone and update the interface in real time using setInterval. This experience strengthened my understanding of working with external libraries and writing clean, interactive, and responsive JavaScript code.
I had no idea on how code works. Now after only 3 weeks I feel like I have learned a lot. I am very happy, and looking forward to start the next level.
