I loved revisiting and strengthening my knowledge Python in this basics module. The weather app was really fun, and I was able to do most of it without support, which made me feel great! I am looking forward to learning more ways to handle and analyse data. This was a great break from the web development modules - and those skills helped here, too!
This Python AI module helped me better understand the integrations with AI and apply them in small but real projects. Working with APIs and building scripts increased my confidence and made the learning process clear and practical.

SheCodes Plus was surprisingly easier than I thought it would be. But that's probably because I got to practise and repeat a lot. In this workshop I was able to build on the skills that I learned from the SheCodes Basic. I learned how to cope when my code doesn't work and where/what to look for bugs. But because this workshop was building off the basics, I was able to spend more time exploring CSS and see what I can do with what I have learned.

In just three weeks, I learned enough HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build a simple landing page on my own. I design websites in WordPress using plugins, and during the course I was able to apply this knowledge at work right away β making custom style changes with CSS when the plugins didnβt provide editing options. An exciting workshop with plenty of challenges. I learned how to make a multipage website complete with navigation bar and footer incorporating social media links. I used Bootstrap, Wireframes and other tools. It was satisfying to see it become fully responsive for both mobile and desktop. It put my troubleshooting to the test too. I was proud that I managed to solve an issue that came up by myself by really examining all the code ,researching until I finally asked myself the right question. I was pleased with the final result .

I took this starter class as part of my professional development as a brand manager. I have dabbled very lightly in HTML and a little bit of CSS in the past but nothing too in-depth. I, like many other students, found the course structure very helpful! With as complex a topic as this, Matt does an excellent job of breaking down the different skills in very digestible chunks. The lesson videos are never more than 10 minutes or so, and he provides so many resources to find help, connect with other students, or learn the basic tools that are industry standards. The way he walked through each video was also very encouraging and I never felt dumb. I honestly found the course not too challenging (not to say I didn't get slightly held up at points) which I think is a testament to how well taught it is. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!

This weekβs workshop/project around building a World Clock was by far the most challenging for me. The learning curve felt steep, and I quickly realized that Matt wasnβt exaggerating when he said that working with dates, and understanding them, is impressive because of how complex it can be! Iβm really glad I pushed through it all within the week, though. It forced me to fully immerse myself in the code and experiment with different approaches, which helped deepen my understanding.
Before SheCodes, I had zero confidence in coding. What surprised me most was how quickly that changed.
