I always wanted to understand coding better but never knew how to start and I have always looked at it as "a monster". A friend of mine signed up to SheCodes and called me up to the same. I must confess I do not regret it at all. The course gave me a great first glimpse into the world of coding and the way it is organized (the challenge of online classes was highly succeeded) and it is very instructive, providing you lots of fun! My professional experience as a Product Owner gave me the opportunity to participate daily in the routines and challenges of the developers. SheCodes was an amazing experience...I was a bit terrified that I couldn't keep up, but Matt and all the team are really extraordinary! The course pacing is just perfect for you to understand everything, and all the challenges, homeworks and project are a fantastic way of practicing all you've learned. SheCodes was a weekend well spend. The amount of stuff that you learn in only two days is incredible. Even though the class wasn't on site like previously planned, Matt was able to reach the participants via video-conference like no other! He's a very good teacher and being able to teach a bunch of newbies how to create an HTML page in one weekend says a lot. I really liked SheCodes Plus course because you can build your own vanilla application end to end, while learning step by step with classes and challenges. At the same time you can ask for help and help other people in the same course, which is great!
SheCodes plus was amazing! The course structure was perfect, I was able to follow the reccommended deadlines throughout the whole course. My feedback is very positive. As a person who never coded before, and that only started learning at the SheCodes Workshop, I found it was easy to keep up with the course schedule for each week (even working on a full time consulting job during the week). The way the course is structured, with classes divided in small videos, each with a corresponding challenge to help you put in practice what you have just learned, makes it easier to learn the concepts and also to keep you motivated to work on your project and reach the end result. Β I never thought I could build my own weather app, and I made it! I really recommend this course if you have the aim to develop your HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills, and look also for opportunities to learn React.
I think the course is well structured along it's duration and it was easy to keep up with. I HIGHLY recommend for those who want to learn.

SheCodes is the best way to learn why you have to know how to code, it gives you an introduction to coding which is very important for someone who doesn't know anything about it.
A few years ago, speaking English was a skill valued in the market. Currently, it is the minimum required. I believe we are seeing the same phenomenon with "programming", specially for those working in the field of engineering and technology. Considering that a gap in my academical education, I decided to apply to "SheCodes" workshop. Of course I don't feel a programmer after the workshop but I feel that I have the tools to start learning by myself! It was a great restart for me! As an engineer I took some coding courses at the university, but the way they were taught was neither attractive nor practical. SheCodes has a practical approach that allows us to test everything we learn and ask questions whenever we need to! I recommend this WS to all girls who feel that web development is something they would like to try, as it is a tool that requires only a computer and the internet. With this kind of skill we can complement something we do on a day-to-day basis with something we can capitalize on remotely.

SheCodes is worth everything you put into it. Great way to get the fundamentals of programming when you don't have any knowledge of Data Science or related fields. The explanations are clear and deep enough to give you an idea of where you need to go in your own time. The exercises also help you to put into practise all you have learned as you go along as well as the final project!

A great workshop for people who are curious about programing. I already had some knowledge of CSS and HTML and it was still a great learning experience. It is fast-paced, and you might find yourself at a loss a couple of times, but Matt is a great teacher and you end up the workshop with great basics.
