I have really enjoyed my learning experience with SheCodes. I loved the React course. The lessons are very well instructed and easy to understand. It is great that you have the opportunity to come back to your educational material whenever you need. I hope to continue my journey and use what I have learned to start working as a front end developer. Thank you guys (@Matt, @Joao, @Lexi) for making this workshop such a nice experience! I would highly recommend this courses to everyone that want to try coding.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the 3 week introduction to coding, I feel confident to adjust and upgrade my sites and business with the skills I have learnt. I am dyslexic so thought it maybe to difficult follow and read the code however Matt explained everything clear and concisely so it was fast to pick up and put in to practice. Thank you so much for introducing me to something I think I have fallen for ! The constant support from the team was also wonderful so thank you all!!

It was hard but rewarding. Sometimes the smallest details have stopped me from going forward but the SheCodes team assisted me, clarifying my doubts and allowing me to continue. I now feel much more at ease with the possibility of learning more about programming and it doesn't seem something completely "impossible" as it did before. I now feel I need to know a bit more about the theory and am looking forward to keep learning! πͺπ₯π₯³
This three-week workshop was a lot of fun. More than just tags and functions, I think I learned a mindset that will help me go further. And why not by continuing my learning with SheCodes Plus? I wouldn't want to stop on such a good path :-)

This is one of the most useful courses I have found online in terms of learning with real software and technology. As React is more advanced than the other modules, this is tough but rewarding

A remarkable introduction to the world of coding. I am glad that I participated in this programme because I've gained a good understanding of the HTML, CSS and Java Script basics. The systematic structure of this programme i.e. the dynamic video tutorials, problem-solving exercise and worked-solutions has made learning easier!
I really enjoyed this SheCodes workshop, it was challenging and helped me to realise that I'm capable of pushing myself to achieve more than I think, even if it seemed difficult sometimes. I had no experience in coding, but with this workshop I learned a lot of basics. The pace of the course was good and I really liked the challenges!
The lesson videos were clear and concise. Teaching was very structured, allowing me to practise what I learn through the small challenges and homework so it didn't feel too difficult and gave me confidence one step at a time to progress until the project at the end of the course.
I learned so much in this workshop. I would highly recommend it to others! I found that people were so nice to help each other. Surely, my project could still need more finish and styling - but I feel like, I am able to do so after acquiring the tools this course provides. Thank you :)

Since it was my first ever coding workshop (I literally didn't have any prior knowledge), I don't know where else to compare to it, but I enjoyed this workshop SO MUCH! I once thought it would have been wonderful if I was explained more (I was sometimes asked to do what the video didn't teach me), but I guess Matt, the instructor, intended to train us in searching/googling skills -because you would not always have someone to help you around and therefore google will be your best friend when coding; I was also able to learn and find A LOT of interesting things by accident when trying out new properties:) Before this workshop, I was just a high school sophomore who liked design and was slightly interested in coding, but now I see a new path and possibility opened to me; my dream job is a frontend developer now! To the most-valuable-3-weeks that has changed my future and life, Thank you!
I really enjoyed the experience. SheCodes workshop helped me learn more about what I already knew of CSS and html and tought me about JavaScript. Definitely recommend this workshop, learned so much
I think it is important to link with a teacher that teaches at your pace. I have tried a few different programs and didn't understand what I was being taught. However, at SheCodes, I have found that Matt teaches in a way that is simplified and understandable. I have shared this link with 5 friends already who are interested and I say "he teaches to the point, to get this, do this". That is the type of teaching that I learn from. I also found Slack to be useful when I am stuck as other programs do not have that option.
It is an amazing course. I could learn easily. Matt's lessons are authentic and easy to understand. The community is really helpful. Whenever I needed help somebody in the community helped me. This course drag me to a new perspective of what is programming. I thought it was difficult, but it isn't. Now I want to learn more.

I'm an engineering student and I wanted to give frontend a try so bad. SheCodes really inspired me to keep going. The workshop is well-structured and intuitive, the lessons are easy to follow and its challenges helped me to stay motivated. If you are looking to venture into the world of coding, this is a highly recommended workshop. Over three weeks you learn a tremendous amount of information about HTML, CSS, and Javascript. The SheCodes platform was user-friendly and it created a great learning environment that challenged me to get out of my comfort zone. An added bonus, is being in a community of like-minded individuals which was supportive and uplifting. The instructor and staff are knowledgeable and are quick to provide assistance when you are stuck. Overall, it was a great experience!

I absolutely loved the SheCodes 3 week Workshops! I became interested in coding about a month ago and wanted to take a course to see if it was something I wanted to pursue further. I took SheCodes' free coding class and thought I would try the 3 week coding workshops. The workshops explained all the concepts really well and started from scratch. This really allowed me to start building my knowledge from day 1 and the best part was that it was really easy for me to fit it around my work schedule! I didn't think I would be able to create a landing page from scratch but I have and I'm so proud of myself. The workshops have given me the confidence to keep coding and keep learning. If you are thinking about going into tech and want to try your hand at coding, take the plunge and do the 3 week SheCodes workshops. I promise you won't regret it!

This program is great for beginners and anyone who learned the basics and needs some much needed brushing up on the jargon and the proper formatting of your code. Matt is outstanding at providing examples and explaining how things work.
My SheCodes adventure has been a fun & delightful one. Like all good things, It has now come to an end, but i will hopefully keep in touch with the team & fellow students through Slack. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering & gaining some basic skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript & React. It will help me continue to learn on my own, but i'm not ready to apply for a development job yet. Skills would need to be further developed & honed for me to feel confident enough to hold a position in this field. ~ I'm grateful to Matt for the clarity & practicality of his lessons very suitable for beginners, & i also would like to give a special shout-out to JoΓ£o who's always been so quick to answer my questions & help me figure out what's wrong every time i had an issue with my challenges or projects. Fantastic workshop, by a fantastic teacher! I have learn't so much in these last few weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed all of the challenges and lessons.
I would say one who has started the coding journey shouldn't leave it without learning React. It is only then that I came to realize how powerful this skill is. This also means that a long way of ups and downs is laying in front of you, waiting to challenge you. However, there is a promising future at the end of the road.
STILL hooked! I've learnt so much in such a short amount of time and am now searching for my next coding adventure. Wish me luck!

SheCodes is a great platform to learn coding. We can code at home but also within group under professional help. Lessons are very scheduled on weekly basis. It is a challenging but fun experience.
Easy to learn. Matt explains things perfectly! You don't need to know how to code. It's just the basics of HTML, CSS and JS in this workshop. Looking forward for the next 2 workshops to advance more in coding ππ
I always knew I wanted to change career paths, just didn't know how, but since the 60 minute SheCodes intro I kow this was the way. I learnt a lot since the very beginning as the lessons are very clear and the challenges are very nice and fun way to practice.
I was so impressed by the free 60-minute SheCodes introduction and learned a lot from that alone. It was an easy decision to go forward with the Basic Coding workshop. Even though I had absolutely no background knowledge in coding, I was able to complete each challenge with ease due to how well concepts are broken down. What an empowering experience!
I've loved this workshop so far learning CSS, HTML and JavaScript. The content and tasks are great and it's easy to learn and share problems with others on the course.
Simple, straightforward, and effective! Learning by doing make things stick much better than by passively watching videos, and things were broken down into manageable chunks. I found myself enjoying things so much that I pushed ahead of schedule!

I had tons of fun. Yes, thereβs definitely some frustrating times but all the support you get from the community and Matt alike, just gets you going! I knew zero to zilch about Code and now I feel like a competent ninja, inspecting different websites to identify what we learn throughout the workshop. Itβs a great place to start if you want to figure out if youβll like coding or not, and venture this vast world. Iβll be upgrading soon and I absolutely recommend it to anyone.
I have learnt so much completing this weather app project with SheCodes! There were definitely some challenges but help was at hand on Slack when I got stuck! And it is so rewarding once you get your code to work! I am very proud to have completed my project and am looking forward to continuing my coding journey :)

I'd recommend 'SheCodes' to individuals who are busy with a day job yet are still keen to pick up coding skills to stay relevant in this increasingly digital-focused world. Each module in this course comes in bite-sized videos and challenges, allowing beginners to cope with the learning process with ease, i.e. they are not too overwhelming and can be completed by mini-milestones. The weekly assignments' deadlines motivate students not to lose their momentum in this course and rest assured, students are not alone in this journey. The 'SheCodes' team will review the homework submitted, and students can reach out to other coders via Slack for help.
It was great learning the basics of coding! Matt always explains everything clearly, sometimes with funny analogies to make things easier to understand, and I've been having fun doing the challenges and homeworks. I can't wait to start SheCodes+ and learn even more!
I liked it! It didn't go too fast and if it went too slow I could speed up Matt :D I got to learn what coding is and got a taste of the possibilities! I recommend keeping notes per language. It helps to find stuff again for the last piece of homework! Looking forward to learn more!
I was always interested in learning how to code, but never thought that I would get the chance. When I first came upon a SheCodes ad, I was immediately intrigued; and when my employer asked me to attend further training during my short-term work, I jumped at the opportunity β and never regretted it. Being totally absorbed in the learning videos and corresponding challenges, hours pass without me realising it. I immensely enjoy putting what I just learned into action and canβt believe how far Iβve already come in such a short period of time. Coding can be challenging, but it is also a lot of fun and extremely rewarding. If you are unsure whether you should sign up for one of the workshops, do it! I'm sure you won't be disappointed! π

I really enjoyed the SheCodes workshops! I enrolled to refresh my web development knowledge, as I haven't touched it in 5 years, and wound up getting a proper grasp on some things that I'd used previously used but hadn't really understood. The videos explain things quite well, the bite-sized exercises and homework really help reinforce the learnings, and completing the final project really brings a sense of achievement.

In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.

I honestly never thought I would be able to learn JS, let alone finish a web app by myself! Especially after taking so many online tutorials/courses and ending up frustrated. After finishing the Intro to Coding I Workshop I just had to keep going and the Front End Development was the obvious next step. Matt is a fantastic teacher, explaining every step of the way as he goes along, and feel I have a pretty solid foundation on JS and Front End now to start my own projects now. I've loved using SheCodes! I really like the short lessons and then having the opportunity to work on my own coding to apply what I'm learning. I especially like the tools they have taught us to use and the way the lessons built on each other.

This course was quite challenging but at the same time very effective and interesting. During the lessons, you learn many things and details about React, it's components, different approaches for a solution. I'm happy I've coped with it!

At first, I was quite worried if IΒ΄d be able to go into such a big challenge, especially since I had no previous knowledge of coding, but I can say IΒ΄ve not only learned a new skill, but I feel even more prepared to go into the next challenge called React β€π during these hard times I fully believe I could change career paths and feel confident enough.
