This workshop was so much fun! It was my first real introduction to coding and I took it to see if it's is something I would be interested in pursuing further. I was surprised by how much I learned in such a short period of time!
I really enjoyed the structure of this workshop. The lessons were short and very easy to follow, with challenges after each lessons which were pretty engaging. When I have questions, the student support team was super helpful and supportive. It taught me a new and valuable skill that will be beneficial to my career, and I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who's interested in learning new things. Thank you for the opportunity!

I loved it! I must admit I got frustrated at times, but I mostly had a lot of fun and learnt so much in such a short time! I'd definitely recommend it, and I've actually already done so! :)
SheCodes is AMAZING! I've been majoring in Computer Science for over a year now, and I've been recently interested in front-end development and learning a few new languages. The workshops were the perfect place for me to get started over winter break! Matt takes things step-by-step and zooms in to explain the nitty gritty of the code. He neither makes it too long and superfluous nor too vague; it is just the right amount of explanation! In addition, you have this whole team of women around the world standing with you as a united force learning these new coding languages -- all of which are there at your disposal to help guide you and learn with you through Slack chat. Professional help is also available-- and they truly do help with whatever question or trouble you may have! (This is a unique twist from undergraduate help in college... ahaha.) Videos can be fast-forwarded 30 seconds or rewound for 30 seconds. You can always go back to previous lessons. The best part? A review of the video and significant concepts are left underneath each video. I have never encountered such a helpful platform to help me get started. Matt flawlessly lets us grow wings throughout the lessons as well so that we can find outside coding help and experiment for when we won't have a helpful guide in our future coding adventures. I recommend SheCodes to any woman interested in learning front-end development (website-building) or coding in general. What are you waiting for?

This is a fantastic beginner program for those interested in coding. I never thought I would learn as much as I did and enjoy it too. The information is laid out very well, easy to follow through and understand. Each step builds onto the other with ease. Matt takes what seems hard and lays it down in lay mans term. SheCodes has been first proper introduction to coding, I can't believe I've already come to the end of SheCodes Plus! This workshop has been so insightful, although it is challenging, part of the fun of coding is to play around and figure out how to improve. Using JS to create interactive elements is a skill I've always wanted to learn and this workshop has really opened my eyes to what I can create and how to code it!

This was suuch a fun workshop. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone and everyone and will continue to push it upon my friends and family members:) (all of whom I make funny websites for). I have learned so much. This workshop opened up a whole new world to me alert(“HelloWorld”); lol. No, but really, I enrolled in a CS course at my university and am now learning Python! Brilliant start to coding. The videos are so easy to follow along and I think Matt describes the content and instructions really well. You learn a lot over 3 weeks and the frequent challenges really help to cement that knowledge.
Very clear and objective video lessons and learning format/tool. And well explained content. Of course, at the end of the course, some topics (which are more complex) still need to be deepened and the review and continued practice is necessary, after all, a different and new content for me. But it provided a very good level to start creating independent projects!
I went from total zero to total hero in my first three weeks! I am floored at what I have learned and couldn’t be happier to have landed my two feet in this program! I am excited to continue with SheCodes-working at my own pace, stellar support from the staff, and easy to follow challenges that make me feel like a boss babe when I accomplish them! I loved SheCodes! I had a previous basic experience with HTML, but I've never done anything with JavaScript before and nonetheless I found the course very clear and easy to follow. I also really liked that Matt was explaining enough to let me learn new stuff and complete the assignments, but still giving inputs about other options and possibilities that triggered my curiosity and made me explore and try on my own. I`m happy I joined SheCodes. SheCodes taught me a lot about CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. The videos are easy to follow and it is a lot of fun and enjoyable to code based on those instructions and inspirations. Fantastic course. Matt has broken down concepts into bite-sized chunks and demonstrates while he explains concepts, which is great if you are a visual learner. The practical challenges help to quickly solidify each topic and are fun and interesting. I found it was just the right balance of simplicity and complexity in this approach to learning to code. Great experience.
SheCodes taught me a lot about the fundamental pillars of code such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I have been struggling to learn code on my own, but with this workshop it made complete sense! The videos were easy to follow, homework assignments were challenging, and the final project gave us creative freedom. I'll definitely be registering for SheCodes React later this year. 👾 If you're hesitant or debating between SheCodes and another workshop, I highly recommend SheCodes! It was more like a game where you had to "beat each level" before advancing. I'm a visual learner and the way Matt explained everything was perfect. I always thought coding was for guys and nerds, with this course, I found is not that hard or for special people to learn. I prove myself I can do it, I feel empowered, most of all, I'm very proud of myself to understand what is the meaning of product development; and as a project manager, I'm planning to start using this knowledge more. I believe that if we do not know how to speak digital, we'll be very behind. If you want to level up your coding skills, this will be the course to start! 😎
SheCodes was a great way to learn an introductory to coding. The 3-week college-class style format helped keep me on track and on-schedule with each lesson and the videos and projects made me practice each skill at a time and in easily digestible chunks. Overall, it was a fun and easy way to learn coding for the first time.
I absolutely loved SheCodes! Matt walked us through the basics in each video, and we had resources available via Slack 24/7 if we needed help or had questions. The challenges were engaging, fun, and filled with easy to understand information. As each week passed, the elements we learned were tied together and the framework began to make more sense. I am so glad I took the plunge and signed up! Looking forward to continuing my SheCodes journey!
I've always viewed coding as boring or too difficult to wrap my head around it. After taking this workshop I realize how creative and fun coding is! I wasn't expecting much but I found myself really enjoying the short lectures and the challenges. The help from the Slack channel was also super nice because we're a whole community sharing resources and common issues. I found myself really going out in the final project and researching different components I wanted to add. You can say I suprised myself. I'm excited to continue on to the next workshop and learning better ways to code.
The basic SheCodes workshop was a great way to learn fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and a little Javascript! It's a great foundation to discover if a longer workshop is something right for you! Easy to understand and follow.
I`ve had lots of fun with the basic workshop and I am very very happy that I`ve made the decision to start learning from SheCodes. In school I`ve already learned some coding but it was a MESS. I could barely follow up and now realised that a lot was already outdated at that time. Matt explains everything very well and the little challenges have helped me to repeat and practise what I`ve learned. Am very excited and thankful for the ongoing journey with the next workshops.
This was a great learning experience. I have watched many YouTube tutorials but this hands on workshop taught me more in just 2 weeks than any video could have taught me. I only signed up for the 3 week course because I had free time over Christmas break but I will definitely be signing up for the full 4 month course soon!!

A great intro for complete beginners on how to start learning on your own later. I had some background in css and html from teen years, but it was first time learning JavaScript. Enjoyed the course, definitely need to make some more projects to make sure to not forget the basics learnt in this course.
SheCodes Plus has been a great and challenging experience. I have developed my skills from the workshop and understand front-end web development, to the point where I can confidently recreate what I see on a web page. The team at SheCodes have been so helpful on Slack, and it is great to see other students work showcased online. I am looking forward to starting SheCodes React soon, and I have even signed up to an external course to follow on from SheCodes so I can keep learning to code. 👩💻

I had tried to learn coding many, many years ago, but always felt unmotivated for always doing everything on the console, with no interface whatsoever. With SheCodes, I was not only able to learn many things, but also to feel motivated to do so and to explore more possibilities.
It's a great way to learn advanced front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, as well as JavaScript techniques using live API's too. While building real applications I've also learned to use Git and GitHub to manage my code and streamline the development workflow.
Matt has been a great teacher over the whole workshop. If you encounter problems, you can go to the slack community and ask for help. I tried to learn coding several times already and always failed. This is the first time I really learned how to code and that I actually had fun with it. Thanks to all the great people from SheCodes! I would highly recommend this workshop to anybody who wants to learn how to code!

SheCode was exactly the course I needed as a beginner that's looking to enter the web world, I'm a everyday dental assistant and now I feel comfortable coding. Though this is just the beginning I've learned a lot because of the detailed information that built a solid foundation within the past 3 weeks, super excited for the future!

The Workshop "Introduction to Coding" is really well-structured and nicely thought. The exercises are clear and easy to follow, but also very fun to do! The SheCodes Plus course was a great addition to the Introduction to Coding part. It challenged me on a daily basis and motived me to keep going on and learn more. The structure of the course made it possible to pick up skills and work in a framework that I have never imagined to be able to do before! :) And when I was struggling with the challenges, it was comforting to know that I have support, should I need it. I especially like SheCodes, because Matt is always keeping it real and the platform itself is very intuitive. The SheCodes workshop was amazing. It was easy to understand and I enjoyed it a lot. I can honestly say that I learned a lot.
Based on my experience with SheCodes, it was a great introduction to coding and helped me take the needed steps in understanding the basics of coding. SheCodes inspired me to continue to learn more about coding in hopes to get a career change.
When I just started university, I decided to study engineering (in business, but still engineering) ... we had to learn to program and I recollect that it was frustrating for me because nothing came out and I did not understand the logic of programming. In the end, I changed careers, but I always had the idea of one day really learning how to use my computer beyond social media and Excel. The SheCodes course proved to me that programming can be easy if they explain it to you well. I would recommend this course to any woman who wants to improve herself, get out of her comfort zone and, above all, who believes that programming is difficult.
I have never coded in my life before, but the SheCodes Workshops made it look easy and fun for me! I learned entirely a new skill that I would like to practice deeper in the future. After every challenge that I would overcome during coding, I felt satisfied with the achievements I have done. Thank you to the team and Matt for making this happen!

I chose SheCodes as an intro into the coding world. My goal was to learn the basics so that I can then be able to teach my elementary students. I met my goal, and am now interested in learning more! SheCodes made it easy, understandable and doable.
SheCodes has taught me applicable skills that I'll be sure to utilize in the future. I feel empowered to learn subject-matter in a primarily male-dominated field.

I'm surprised I found the 3 weeks course interesting. It was nice to see that one could actually learn some basic coding without the "you're back in school" feeling. I also appreciate the short lessons and straight to the point examples. I'd recommend it for anyone wondering, if by some miracle, they might be able to understand coding 😋.
This was the best course to begin my coding journey and I'm really glad that I did. The only thing I can think of not being 100% ok is that I wanted to learn more than this, even though it was a begginer's guide xD

I enjoyed this course a lot and can highly recommend this course to every woman , who would like to gain new experience in coding! The best in this course are the tasks , so its really much practice and not just theory, so one can learn it by doing it oneself.
SheCodes is wonderful! The videos are clear, well structured, and organized. It's also an asynchronous class - you can learn and work on your homeworks/projects whenever convenient for you. I finished the three-week coding class in a week and was surprised by how much knowledge I gained already! I'm excited to unfold what the next class has for me. Highly recommended!
A great course for beginners definitely worth it. I loved the fact that the curriculum is divided in several short videos and after each video you get to apply what you have learned in the challenge and afterwards combine everything you have learned in the homework and finally in the final project. I am very happy that I decided to spend the autumn learning how to code. Not only did I finally learn the basics of web development, but it also gave me the confidence and desire to learn other technologies and programming languages. SheCodes also already helped me to get a new job.

When I first heard about coding, I really interested to learn about it but I am not sure where to learn or where to start if I wanted to learn my own. When I found out about SheCodes, I apply and learn about coding from scratch and it is worth it as the workshop teaches me step by step so that I can understand better. Overall it is a good experience learning coding here.

In 2020 after 7 years of designing and managing IT projects, I have decided to learn software development, I wanted to know how to use all modern technologies, tools and frameworks. My experience in coding was limited to basic university program of c# and java. Thanks to SheCodes lessons (Plus and React) I have received updated and practical knowledge in order to build and maintain by myself web apps using HTML-CSS-JS or React.js framework. As a consequence I can now manage development teams even better than before or directly take a role of Front End dev in a project. Matt Delac is a great tutor, I appreciate a lot his mission! Now I am a certified Front End developer.

A great introduction to coding - I have learnt so much these past few weeks. Really enjoyable and the videos were easy to follow. I expected more teaching in the third week rather than just the project, but a great experience overall! I would definitely recommend.

I was a total beginner when I started this course - I never did anything related to coding. I stumbled upon SheCodes ad while watching some tutorial trying to understand how to start programming. I usually skip ads but this time was different. What a ride this was! The whole workshop is amazing and everything is well step-by-step explained. You will learn the basics but it is enough to built your own page with some cool functionalities. And if you struggle with being patient this is the way how to work on it as well. Trust me! I enjoyed every bit of the workshop and recommend it to anyone wanting to start coding or just try if this is the right path. I am gonna definitely continue with Plus React. Thank you!

This course is really amazing! I have tried to learn coding by myself through various free online materials before but it is really hard to pick up if one don't have any basic concept of it. But Matt made everything simple and easy to understand and I eventually create my own page. Even though there are still lots of things to be learnt, this is a wonderful beginning of my coding journey.

I'm not really a fan of weather apps after spending months doing one application. It was really difficult to motivate myself to keep going. The React course should have been another example. I don't exactly know how to make anything other than the weather app and a basic website. But I do feel I got a base enough to go to other classes and not be as confused. I would have liked to learn what is possible with other APIs.
I have really enjoyed my learning experience with SheCodes. I loved the React course. The lessons are very well instructed and easy to understand. It is great that you have the opportunity to come back to your educational material whenever you need. I hope to continue my journey and use what I have learned to start working as a front end developer. Thank you guys (@Matt, @Joao, @Lexi) for making this workshop such a nice experience!
