I really loved this course and look forward to learning more!

The lessons kept me engaged and motivated to go through every challenge. I had a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, but I learned a lot during this workshop!

I highly recommend the SheCodes Workshop to anyone who's interested in learning the basics of coding. I've tried multiple self-paced learning platforms in the past, without succeeding, due to a lack of time constraints and accountability. The workshop format, was easy to balance with my full-time role but I also knew that I had weekly deadlines to meet, so that helped me prioritise my time accordingly. I'm really looking forward to joining the SheCodes Plus workshop soon!! 🤩

I definitely recommend this workshop for those who work better and are more motivated with deadlines. I learned a lot of different things and was able to build a weather app with React. If you are new to coding, this will be a good workshop and introduction. Also, there is always a live chat with other students that can help you if you ever get stuck.

I always wanted to learn coding front-end, because for me it's a way to express creativity. The 3-weeks coding workshop was perfect to learn all the basics. Now I am on fire and want to learn more! Thanks Matt, for this great experience and for empowering women to code!

I had so much fun the past 3 weeks, learning the basis of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This was a real challenge to me and I went from zero to find a new passion in my life. Coding was always something blurry and confusing for me and I thought it was time to get more into it, to increase my knowledge and gain new skills. After watching the free coding session for Beginners from SheCodes, I've been directly hooked and decided to enroll right away to the beginner workshop. The video courses are clear, short but really detailled and easy to assimilate! In addition to that, the challenges are a real plus because they permit us to apply everything that has been brought up in each video and therefore, learning not only by watching but also by experimenting. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who doesn't know how to code and who thinks that it is not for them. SheCodes had the capacity to make coding fun and exciting!

I've thoroughly enjoyed my SheCodes experience, the lessons are broken down in a super thoughtful way that made it easy to absorb the information. I loved the camaraderie of helping and being helped by other Coders in the Slack groups each week. I originally took the course to give myself some basic dev knowledge for my role as Project Manager as I move from Creative to Digital, but find myself eager to learn more. I'm already looking to take the more advanced courses as soon as my work schedule allows! Thank you to Matt and Joao for your help, I had a great time!

I highly recommend this workshop to people who want to learn new skills. It is very well-structured and the instructors are always ready to help. The final project tests not only what we've learnt during these 3 weeks, but also our creativity, which was really fun!

The course was a good basic introduction to the topics. I highly enjoyed the fact that the course was planned in such an order that you don't lose motivation. A lot of visual tasks for which you can see your own impact and learning immediately. Also Matt is a good instructor and the team behind Shecodes is always available to support in Slack!

I was honestly a little nervous starting this workshop, but I was pleasantly surprised with how much I have learned. The lessons were easy to follow and although I got frustrated in the moment, I did enjoy the challenges because it was like solving a puzzle! This workshop really made me use my brain and I'm excited to enhance my new skills even further!

SheCodes workshop has been amazing start to finish. I can't believe that I have learned so much in so little time. This is definitely a great investment. It helped me stay focused, to push myself and to expand my knowledge. I went from knowing NOTHING about coding to feeling comfortable to make my first landing page. I see myself going far with this career, and plan to expand my knowledge by taking the next work shop that contains react. This was so much fun and I enjoyed every bit of it. I love this work shop.

SheCodes was an amazing and fun experience to me. It opened my eyes (and brain) to something completely opposite of what I normally do and helped me demystify coding as well as to develop new skills. I really loved the way the workshop was structured: the small portions of new content, the regular challenges and the weekly homework that made me see and prove to myself, how fast I had learned. I already knew the basics of html and CSS, so it was useful to get a refresh. I was particularly interested in learning the Javascript and I found it super fun to apply it to my final little project.

SheCodes courses are a very good first step into coding especially when you have no computer science background. It has a very good sense of community interacting with the tutors and the other students. It is a very practical course with headlines which motivates me (as a full time worker) to finish my learnings in a certain amount of time. Although I believe the courses fee can be reduced to similar coding courses in the market.

I have enjoyed every step of learning how to code. SheCodes make it fun and easy to follow and it has exceeded my expectations. Looking forward to see whats next!

It took me a while to come around to an online class, but this workshop has completely changed my view. The lessons are brief with bite-sized concepts that are easy to comprehend and apply. A huge part of the course is using one's ability to troubleshoot and research aspects of coding which is more dependent on the student. This makes it a more hands-on learning experience, and helps students learn to fix their own mistakes, no matter how insignificant the erroneous piece of code may be. Overall, this workshop has provided a lovely environment and community for women who want to code, and I am grateful to be a part of it!

I really enjoy learning coding in SheCodes. Matt is the best mentor.He teaches coding in very fun and easy way. I didn't like coding before, but after the first day I started learning in sheCodes, I fell in love with coding

This was a great experience. I always thought learning to code was going to be so complicated. Don't get me wrong it was definitely something I had to work at, but the way this coding workshop is set up, was very user friendly and makes learning code enjoyable. Going to continue honing my skills!

I have been working in hospitality since I was old enough to work. I grew up in a household with a parent who worked in IT so its always been a big part of my life. Lately, I've been wanting to make a career change and came across SheCodes online and started with the hour intro course and decided to sign up and start that week. I've learned so much so far finishing up week three! Can't wait to learn more!!!

It's amazing how much knowledge and new skills I acquired during this course. It truly did open endless coding possibilities in my mind and I'm already rearing to learn even more with SheCodes React and later continue to explore the coding world and create new projects I can be proud of. Thank you SheCodes for this opportunity to learn JavaScript! After doing the workshop, this course really helped in understanding the principles. Even after finishing the final project demands, I found myself reading in on websites as stackoverflow and MDN as I wanted to change things up, making my code easier to read and removing as much repeats as I know how to at this level.

SheCodes React was very fast paced but it's amazing how much you can learn in short time. It's been very challenging but I'm looking forward to keep learning and building more projects. Highly recommend!

SheCodes Plus is packed with new technologies and skills to learn! It was like cooking school - each week we used a new tool and learned a new skill/technique. By the end, we had to use all the tools and techniques we learned along the way to create something of our own. I am excited to show off my weather app!

The lessons are simple and easy to follow. I learned a lot of new information and understood the basics of how websites come about. If you are a self-learner, it will be a plus. I will recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to have a little taste of coding. It is really fun!

SheCodes is a great choice for busy women who want to learn how to code but don't have (or think that they don't have) time or motivation. The workshop gives a good intro to CSS, HTML and JS, making you fall in love with coding, and leaving you eager to learn more.

I love SheCodes! It has taught me so much already! I'm excited to keep learning, coding is my new favorite thing! It allows me the freedom to be as creative as I want to be, now I tell the computer what to do! Though challenging, coding is so fun!

SheCodes is a great platform for beginners to learn the fundamentals and I would highly recommend. I was a little conscientious of studying while working full-time but this course has been the perfect option offering the choice to work at your own pace with deadlines to keep you motivated. Matt is very professional and explains all concepts thoroughly in his videos. I would also like to thank the team on slack for being such a supportive network and quick to help with any queries.

I really enjoyed the plus workshop. Even though the material wasn't always simple and easy to understand I felt that the lessons took me step by step and I always had all the tools I needed. Overall it was fun and I feel I learned a lot! 😊

Really good course for the price. Great videos, exercises, team always supports you and answers your questions. It was really surprising to see a digital course with such a high quality. Ended this course being able to deliver not only the weather app features required for the final project, but also other features that you learn along the course. for someone who had 0 background on coding, I believe I got a lot from the course since I can now set up an app or website from scratch writing HTML, CSS and Java script

10/10, would totally recommend! The SheCodes introduction to Coding workshop is as introductory as it gets -- Matt's teaching is very easy to understand and enjoyable. Even though you're learning quite a lot in such a short time, it doesn't quite feel like it as the challenges are fun and keep you engaged!

This workshop was so cool! Deeply educational, the tasks and projects are not very hard to achieve, and yet challenging, which is the perfect mix! It really follows the 'baby steps' principle (very important in my opinion.) I totally recommend this for anyone who wants to learn code.

I looked around for beginners workshops and I'm so glad I picked SheCodes. Tasks are challenging but easy to follow and I love that I could learn at my own pace with deadlines set - love the freedom. Extra bonus is the support system that you get and international community just a Slack away.

Wow! I can't believe it's been 8 weeks. Time flies when you are learning and having fun at the same time. I learned SO much within the course of 8 weeks and looking back before I even started, I have grown a lot. You can definitely finish the course shorter than 8 weeks if you put the time, but I chose to take it slowly, day by day. Now I have this amazing project I can add to my portfolio... and oh how satisfying it is when your code works! :)

It's amazing to see how far I've come and how much I've learnt since I started the first workshop. I know this final project is just a simple weather app, but I'm proud to have been able to finish it without too much hassle.

I've learned a lot about CSS and Javascript in the Plus course and loved building out a real web application. If you want to learn more about coding, definitely consider SheCodes and see what you are capable of!

What a rewarding and fun journey! I decided to do the 'Introduction to Coding' course in-between jobs, and I'm so pleased I did. Working in marketing I have the ability to edit HTML / CSS when creating landing pages or email templates, but I never had the confidence to edit code extensively. After studying this course, I have a firm grasp of the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript - I'm already planning to book onto the SheCodes Plus workshop to learn more about Front-End website developing.

SheCodes React has been so great to learn, every course lesson is so well planned and clear and easy to follow. It makes learning some pretty complicated stuff super accessible and fun! Im so happy that there is now another course so I can continue my SheCodes journey

In this workshop you learn more how to think in programing and to pratice on a real funcional app. It's not easy... Requires a lot of work and practice. Matt helps you learn and it's great to have an functional weather App, but you have to be commited to the course in order to learn. Pretty happy with what i've learned so far :)

Another great course from SheCodes. Everything is very well explained and there are a lot of challenges to help you put to practice what you just learned. Very doable within the time frame suggested as well. I thought the final project was a bit more complex than what the lessons covered, but again it was well explained and we can follow all the steps. This has been the best coding experience of my life. I always wanted to learn to code, and after having my first baby I thought that dream was long lost. I still can't believe how easy was for Matt and the SheCodes to teach us how to do our projects. I'm very happy, I'm about to start the React course now!

I really liked how Matt taught the class and the independent learning.

This was a really good crash course into coding for web development. Matt's explanations were very clear and understandable, and the homework tested what you learned throughout the lesson with just a bit of a challenge. Although I didn't need it in the end, it was really nice knowing I could post in Slack for help! Having learned just this much in a short amount of time has made me more motivated to keep learning on my own. 😄

If it wasn't for SheCodes I would have never had the motivation to learn a new skill. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is hesitant about learning coding. It's a well structured and effective program!
