SheCodes Python Basics workshop has been an enriching learning experience! Throughout the workshop, we covered all the basics from variables, numbers and strings to if statements, functions, lists and dictionaries. All the knowledge you need to be able to successfully build applications using Python. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to learn all about back-end development!

Completing the SheCodes React Workshop was an exciting step in my coding journey! I learned the fundamentals of React, built a weather forecast application using Create React App, and became more confident using the terminal and npm to manage dependencies. While a few tutorials felt a bit outdated—especially when comparing newer tools like Vite—it actually pushed me to research and understand modern React practices more deeply. Overall, it was a rewarding and enjoyable experience that helped me grow as a front-end developer!

SheCodes Responsive Add-on helped me turn my Lisbon travel page into a mobile-friendly website. I learned how to use CSS Grid, media queries, and responsive design in a way that felt practical and creative. It was the perfect next step in my coding journey!

This was definitely one of the most challenging exercises I have done, but completing it felt so rewarding. I am proud of how much I have learned through the React lessons on She Codes!

In this module, we learn how to create a project since design phase. Design for me is the most difficult part. Working on this module I just found out that with the AI tools available at the moment I have my work cut out for me.

WOW WOW WOW — what an incredible journey this has been! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this course. From discovering things I didn’t know to tackling challenges head-on, it was all completely worth it. Learning new snippets of code and building a fully functional weather app hosted on Netlify was something I never imagined I could do, but I did it🙌🏼! I 1000% recommend SheCodes to anyone curious about coding. It’s empowering, practical, and genuinely life-changing.

This was the most challenging weeks of my life but I leant a lot. I learned how to use advanced CSS and HTML to create more polished layouts, explored JavaScript data types and functions, and even got introduced to APIs. It’s amazing to see how all these concepts connect to make a website more dynamic and interactive. I’m really proud of my progress and grateful for the step by step guidance.

I loved the workshop! The explanations are super clear, and the examples and exercises are very practical. You’re guaranteed to learn here. I'm discovering that I really enjoy programming, it's like math, full of logic, but also requires a proactive mindset. You need to explore and find things on your own, and what’s amazing is that they also teach you how to search and learn independently. I’m ready and excited to move on to the next course!

Completing Shecodes Plus has been an amazing journey for me. Shecodes basic was an amazing experience. I learned how to build a website from scratch.

Matt made it so easy to learn the basics of front-end development. The lessons are very short and digestible. I used to think that coding was beyond me but going through the SheCodes Basics course you learn step by step.

SheCodes Plus workshop was a fun was to learn about APIs and how they can make a developer's life easier. Making complex functionalities such getting current weather of a specific city, so easy. It was challenging working with concepts such as looping through objects but really enjoyed it as it expanded my knowledge in APIs and how to utilize them for future projects.

Really interesting using AI as someone who had kind of shied away from it. It's amazing learning how it works and being able to use it for different products and how important adjusting your wording for AI is.

I really enjoyed this workshop! I learned A LOT!

SheCodes has been an amazing learning experience! The short videos are easy to follow, and the step-by-step guides make coding feel simple and achievable. I love having access to Slack and Athena for extra support whenever I need it. Each workshop just keeps getting better and better!

This was the toughest 3 weeks of my life but I made it through. It was fun, I cried I got frustrated and all the in between but I enjoyed the challenges and creating my own landing page. The content is relatively easy to follow and informative making it easy to follow and learn.

I learned so many valuable tips this week and I feel even more excited to start my journey as a Front-End Developer. This course taught me a lot and it made me very motivated to keep learning and growing as a coder!

SheCodes Responsive was a rather challenging module. Here, I got to learn and expound on my previous coding knowledge, and learn about Responsive Websites. At first, it was difficult . However, with loads of practice, I was able to perfect the coding techniques. I am grateful to Matt Delac for bein g open and honest during this module :)

Learning React was not easy at first at all...everything felt unfamiliar and complex. But nothing worth learning is easy at the beginning! Step by step, I managed to build a working weather app, handle API calls, and create a polished interface. This course pushed me out of my comfort zone, and I feel proud of what I’ve accomplished. Completing it has been both tough and incredibly rewarding!

This Plus Add-on course was so much fun and just the right amount of challenging! What I really appreciate is how the course focuses on the concepts and making sure you understand the "why" behind the code's functionality (or lack thereof), rather than just making a beautiful webpage. Joining SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I started because I've always been curious about coding and wanted to challenge myself to learn something new and valuable. From the first lesson, I felt inspired, supported, and excited to keep going. SheCodes has not only taught me coding but has also given me confidence and joy in the process.

I had a nice time getting into the basics of coding. I had previously done like a one week coding class, but this gave me a bit more insight. I like the build-up of the lessons, and the challenges. It's a good way to put the things you learn into practice. I would be interested in doing a bit more of a deep dive into this and add on to my skillset. Even if you are completely new to coding, and never tried it before, I definitely think this class is a good place to start.

I just completed the SheCodes Plus, Plus AI, and Plus Add-On workshops. Across these modules I went from writing basic scripts to shipping real, user interface tools. In SheCodes Plus, I built a fully interactive weather app with forecast data and learned modern ES6 patterns, API integration, and Git/GitHub workflows. In SheCodes Plus AI, I learned practical prompt design and integrated an AI API to build my Corporate AI Translator, focusing on clean UX, loading states, and accessibility. In SheCodes Plus Add-On, I developed a World Clock with live time zones (the most challenging one so far) using timezone libraries and interval updates for real time accuracy. What I valued most: Hands-on projects, clear instructor guidance, and feedback from the SheCodes community. I’m leaving with stronger JavaScript fundamentals, confidence working with APIs, and a portfolio I’m proud to share. Thank you, SheCodes!

What a journey it has been. It has been the longest, best 8 weeks. It has been such a rewarding experience for me. I had little to no confidence in my coding abilities, but sheCodes gave me a clear path to follow. The lessons were practical, easy to follow. I never imagined myself building anything with my skills, but the projects and challenges really pushed me to apply what I was learning, and I am really proud of my progress in coding thus far.

This course was challenging but I truly learned a lot! Moments.js is a game changer in regards to dates and times. It helped to ease the amount of coding (a little bit!). Overall great course and my world clock project is very cool.

Learning API integration and JavaScript was a rewarding experience. Using GitHub for version control made collaboration and tracking changes easy, while hosting my project on Netlify provided a seamless deployment process. The combination of these tools helped me build and share my weather app efficiently, and I gained valuable skills in web development and cloud hosting along the way.

Learnt so much completing this, I have found it difficult to move from Vanilla to React however completing this and the projects has been an amazing way to learn!

Such an incredible experience! Through this program, I built my very first interactive web application using artificial intelligence — something I never imagined I could do before. The lessons gave me a solid foundation on what AI is, how it works and I gained practical skills like writing prompts and giving clear instructions to AI tools such as ChatGPT. I also learned how to integrate an AI API into my code and even created an interactive text generator powered by AI. On top of that, I sharpened my web development skills by discovering how to integrate CSS directly into JavaScript. This program didn’t just teach me concepts — it gave me the confidence to bring them to life in a real project. I now feel more prepared to continue exploring AI and web development and I’m excited about the opportunities ahead

Coming from a none tech background, she codes plus has been a very educational with hands on training for my tech transition journey. I have learnt so much, the lessons are well planned and well explained. I enjoyed every step of learning and i would recommend it 100% to everyone who would like to transition to tech from a none tech background like me.

I really enjoyed the Basics Add-on Graduation section. I learned so much and was able to focus my final project on an idea I’ve always wanted: creating my own personal travel blog. I loved the process and found all the lessons very useful. I’m excited to keep learning!

I'd recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn coding. The way the lessons are structured makes learning easy and fun, and even someone my age, (62), can get their head around the concepts and rules with the easy-to-follow lessons.
