I’m so happy to have completed the SheCodes React Add-on and reached the end of my React journey with SheCodes! React has definitely been one of the more challenging technologies I’ve learned. I didn’t find it as easy to click with as some of the other languages I’ve worked with, and there were definitely moments where I felt frustrated or unsure of myself. But I kept working through the challenges, debugging my code, and trying to understand not just what was going wrong, but why. Throughout the React Add-on, I’ve gained a much better understanding of components, props, state, APIs, and how everything comes together to create a working application. I’ve also become much more comfortable with making mistakes, researching errors, and figuring things out for myself, which I know is such an important part of learning to code. I’m really proud of myself for sticking with React and finishing the course, especially when it didn’t always come easily. Looking back at where I started, I can see how much I’ve learned and how much more confident I am with coding. Completing this certificate feels like a really exciting milestone in my coding journey. I’m looking forward to taking everything I’ve learned from SheCodes and continuing to build my skills, create more projects, and see where my journey into tech takes me next!

I am grateful to have finally moved forward with my certificates, towards a greater achievement .This was indeed a great addition to the previous certificate and I have in a way upgraded my knowledge from the basics certificate .I am excited to continue learning and applying my skills in future tasks ,there still is a long way to go but I am excited to be on this journey with SheCodes.

Completing my final project for the SheCodes Basics workshop was such a rewarding experience. I built a webpage from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and it was exciting to see how the different pieces of code came together to create a functional and visually appealing website. Before starting the workshop, web development felt quite intimidating, but SheCodes made the learning process simple and enjoyable. I learned how to structure a webpage with HTML, style it with CSS, and add interactivity using JavaScript. I especially enjoyed being able to be creative with the design and make the project my own. Finishing this project gave me a real sense of accomplishment and increased my confidence in coding. It also motivated me to continue learning and exploring web development. I’m grateful to SheCodes for providing such a practical and beginner-friendly introduction to coding.

It is truly amazing what coding is like. It is like solving a puzzle, and everything is beautiful and flawless once everything is complete. I enjoy learning responsive frameworks because they make it possible for apps and websites to work seamlessly on any device. This course helped me build on the skills I learned in the Responsive course by teaching me more advanced web design techniques. I learned to create responsive grids, work with tables and iframes, and use background images to enhance the look and functionality of websites. Another Project completed. Learning how to take a static design and turn it into a fully functional, data-driven web app using JavaScript and a live API was both challenging and rewarding. I'm proud of how clean, responsive, and smooth the user experience turned out.

What stood out most about SheCodes was how supportive and encouraging the whole experience felt. Another workshop done and dusted! What a fantastic experience this has been so far. Within a matter of a week, another skill was unlocked and I have an interactive landing page to show for it. It amazes me everytime how easy and uncomplicated Matt makes coding. He explains it in bite-size chunks and provides you with enough space and time to think about what you have learned and then put the new skill to practice. Highly recommend any of the coding courses.

The course covers responsive design that builds on HTML, CSS, Flexbox, and CSS Grid with certification projects learned from previous modules. After going through the modules, I took some time playing with fluid grids, flexible images, and media queries. I would have liked to see a module about elements to consider when approaching mobile screens. Questions that come to mind include the possibility of making a base CSS for small screens first, adding break points for larger screens, and touch targets to ensure buttons and links can be adequately sized for touch screens. I enjoyed the process of experimenting and learning more about responsive design while creating and structuring a portfolio page that works on both desktop and mobile devices.

Another excellent course. The AI project was fun to code and I learned a lot. Shout out to the SheCodes-Team, esp. Matt.

Coding has kept me excited and craving for more. It is fun to code; it has kept me glued to my laptop, to an extent where I can't tell what time it is. JavaScript was particularly interesting. Matt makes the lessons interesting ,fun, and easy; and guides you step by step, till you get the content. Can't wait to learn more.

Building the Vanilla Weather App has been the most informative, engaging, and creative part of the workshop so far. Learning React has been one of the more challenging parts of my coding journey so far. Compared to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python, React took me longer to understand, and I found myself needing to spend extra time working through concepts such as components, state, props, and handling API data. Although it didn't come as naturally to me as some of the previous languages I have learned, I gradually developed a solid understanding of how React works. As I continued building projects and troubleshooting errors, I became more confident in breaking down problems and understanding how different parts of an application work together. While I know there is still plenty to learn, completing React has given me a good foundation to build on. It has also reinforced the importance of persistence, patience, and problem solving when learning new technologies. Overall, the experience has been rewarding, and I feel more prepared to continue developing my React skills through future projects and real world experience.

I personally enjoyed learning how to integrate AI into web development. It was interesting to learn how AI works, and how prompts and contexts can make a difference in generating AI answers. I also got to learn that you can code CSS in Javascript. Super grateful to SHECODES for this opportunity.

This beginner's course has been a life-saver and a good investment! I am very appreciative of how accesible the modules are as I have been trying to learn how to code on my own (through self-study). I am someone who needs structure to be able to learn and truly understand what I'm teaching myself. SheCodes is just that! I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn, and this has unlocked a set of skills I thought impossible to master previously. I really enjoyed this workshop. Coding taught me that every bug is just a question you haven't answered yet 😅. SheCodes totally changed the game for me. I went into my first workshop ready to learn and came out having built three full apps, two of which were long-standing passion projects I had dreamed of bringing to life. “The workshop was so much fun, well structured and easy to follow. I enjoyed learning how to display the current time and time zone using JavaScript and create user-friendly dropdown menus. Each project helped strengthen my coding and problem-solving skills. I feel more confident in my web development abilities and excited to keep learning.

Being able to add a 'functionality' to the webpage solely from CSS with no bootstrap was fun. It is time consuming and teaches you patience with having to troubleshoot images to the correct sizing needed for the content of a webpage, but, it also helps to add on and build the fine motor skills of retaining information learned from the 'Basics' courses of the coding workshops. I took a lot away from this 'Responsive' course that helped me understand how CSS can work better and more efficiently for webpages.

React is quite challenging but SheCodes made it fun, I can't wait to learn more so I can return to this project and adjust the temperatures for the forecast as well.

I have learnt a lot from the basics programme as a beginner in tech and I am overly excited to further my workshop.
