This course is very interesting and easy to follow. I'm happy I decided to learn how to code with SheCodes.
I found that SheCodes was the perfect way to learn to code and has given me some great skills to add to my resume. I am determined to continue to learn more coding languages and start a new career. Through this course I was eager to complete the projects and challenges and really experienced the high of when you put together a function, API call or click button and seeing that it works! I have proudly shown off my projects to my friends and family and have found that coding gives me a great sense of achievement. Thank you to Matt and the team for putting together such an easy to follow course and providing support through Slack when things get tricky.

I love this course! Being a mom with a full time job I love being able to watch the videos and assignments at my own pace but still have a deadline when things need to be accomplished to help keep me on track. This workshop made me eager to learn more.
This workshop is quite interesting and consists of very important lectures if you are planing to make any business of coding. Matt explains everything well and I had much fun learning :)
The course was challenging at times but I learned a lot and definitely do not regret taking the leap and learning React.

I have been in a support role in software companies for awhile but I have been so intimidated by learning code! I signed up for a SheCodes course and I absolutely love it! I work full time and I am a mom so time is a scarce commodity but I have found this course so enjoyable it is easy to make time. I can't believe how much I have enjoyed working through the lessons and homework. I would recommend this curriculum to anyone!

Lovely workshop, I am a complete beginner and I definetly learned a lot, I do however feel that a bit more could be added to the final week.
I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone, even without any prior knowledge of coding languages. It is super straightforward and understandable, and because it is split into small steps you can easily follow and learn.
My initial intention was to learn a little bit about coding due to the fact that I work in the IT sector, but after finishing the first workshop, I was hooked on coding. Everything is explained great and it is really easy to follow. Would recommend to anyone who is keen on learning a new skill.
I have really enjoyed the first 3 weeks of learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. There is so much to learn I look forward to moving forward with SheCodes and expanding my Web Development knowledge!

The second (Plus) workshop has been a wake-up call to get real with coding. I wouldn't say it was especially harder, since we have learnt the basics for developers in the previous one, but it definitely required a lot more time and dedication. Also, this time I have emerged myself to the coding community here and got to know wonderful fellow coders in the making. As usual, Matt's way of teaching is easy and seamless. I have really enjoyed this workshop and highly recommend to everyone!
I had no clue what to expect in the beginner workshop. I was not familiar with any of the languages or coding it self. The learning process was much easier than I expected, the way the workshops were built were the best for my learning process, the platform was so easy and friendly that make so enjoyable to learn this new world. It is so cool how much you can learn in just 6 weeks. Starting from a rough scribble to getting to an actually functioning online application and being able to read API descriptions. I am working like an assistant. After a few years I realize that this administrative work isn't for me. I want to change my career and I am interesting of some design fields. I was curious about programming and I wanted to try it. It was good experience for me. I will see if programming is the right for me. And I definitely will continue in my learning.

This was challenging but fun! I'm proud that I pulled through. The videos and the challenges helped me understand more about functions and how they work as well as learning how to find useful resources for future projects. It was also interesting to learn the industry's workflow.

If you've ever felt like you had more potential inside of you than what was being used at work, SheCodes is for you. The courses unlocked a creative streak I haven't felt in years. While I've just learned foundational elements, I know SheCodes has built me up to take on the world.
I think this is a great beginner course for women who want to learn the very basic skills of coding and have a general understanding of how it works. The videos are easy to watch in sections because they are short so I feel I can accomplish the work within the allotted time and not feel rushed or overwhelmed. I will definitely be continuing with the other workshops to learn more!
I started from 0, knowing absolutely nothing about coding. The lessons were easy to follow, and the constant challenges were definitely a must, in applying new knowledge and even learning something new. It was a great experience and, even though it was just the beginnig, I feel so proud of what I learnt. Thank you so much!!

I loved this workshop. It was just the right amount of time commitment so that you could learn and challenge yourself! I have been exploring coding but find most of the resources expensive, timely, or hard to learn. SheCodes really did a good job covering the topics in an easy to understand way as well as providing a support platform for questions.

I didn't think I was wired to be able to understand or write code but this workshop proved me wrong! The lessons are broken up in a way that's really easy to understand, and there's ample opportunity to practice what you learn. Little has been said about how gratifying it is to fix a coding bug or when you get a function to do what you want it to. I had a lot of fun in this Intro to Coding workshop and would definitely recommend it to others!

This was the best beginner coding course I took. The exercises and the homework really helped with understanding and putting into practice all I have learnt. The course pacing was great as well.
Coding with SheCodes was an amazing journey. After SheCodes introduction course, I was impressed by how fluently the lessons were. I decided to take a challenge and dare to join the SheCodes plus team even though I'm working a full-time job. And you know what? It was challenging but it was worth it. These lessons made me happy because I've learned frontend coding from a very beginner level. I think that I've found another skill which will be useful in the future and the more I'm learning, the more I like coding.
Loved the final project, really challenged my knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS we had learnt so far, and I'm proud of my little weather app :) Better still I've been able to apply my learnings to personal projects.
Three weeks ago I would not have thought that ol' tech illiterate me would come out the other side enjoying programming. I have learnt so much in such a small amount of time and that is primarily down to Matt's short, concise and interesting lessons as well as the superhero level back up team in your peers and SheCodes support really help you understand the bare bones behind the websites we see and utilise every single day.

I really enjoyed my three-week course at SheCodes. I started the course because I wanted to know if coding could be something I enjoyed, and to learn something new. I have found the methodology of the course particularly good to learn. The structure between informative videos and challenges to be completed peak your interest and help you learn at an adequate pace. I also feel the content of the 3-week course was adequate for complete beginners to immerse themselves into coding, but at a level that anyone dedicating a bit of time could follow. I would definitely recommend SheCodes for people that want to start their coding journey.
I have always wanted to learn coding, but as a worker with a young child, I was very anxious to take that first step. Now, I am disappointed I didn't start sooner! I can't believe how much fun I have had during the last 3 weeks, and it's really given me a boost and helped me find some more confidence within myself. Step-by-step tutorials help heaps to understand the mechanism of the backside of a website I have never known. It's exciting and so much fun to learn. I am looking forward to advancing the knowledge and technics of coding hoping to get good at it. I was definitely one of those people who thought coding would be ridiculously hard. It is learning a new "language", after all. However, Matt makes these courses succinct enough to grasp the concepts and practice on your own with homework, and does a great job explaining the tougher lines of code which could get tricky. The work was definitely engaging and it was really fun crafting my own landing page. I thought this 3 week course was the perfect way to get my feet wet in the world of coding. I can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!
I have learned a ton and Matt was a very good instructor. I am considering completing the entire course...I also found his tips on where to search, recommendations for different programs, etc., very helpful.
I've been interested in learning code for a while, but it always seemed intimidating. The lessons on SheCodes are set up so well! It was fun to watch everything unfold and I felt confident experimenting on my own. Matt not only teaches you how to do things, he also teaches you how to figure things out if you run into something you aren't so familiar with. Those resources make everything less intimidating because I knew I could find the answer. And having a community to connect with via slack was very helpful!!

I have really loved my SheCodes experience and have found the course extremely useful and a lot of fun! I have really appreciated being able to learn in my own time, at my own pace but with a target deadline at the end of every week. The flexibility has worked perfectly for me since I work full-time and the set deadlines have kept me motivated. The lessons are a good length and explained well. The practical challenges, homework and final assignments which follow these offer enough of a challenge to feel like you are learning something but not too difficult that you feel overwhelmed. The SheCodes platform has been very friendly and approachable to use and I have looked forward to every lesson and every challenge. It's very satisfying when you get it right! Many thanks to Matt whose videos have been very clear and easy to follow. He's a great teacher who explains things well and makes the whole experience fun. I'm looking forward to starting the Plus course now!
After pursuing SheCodes workshop, I decided to keep learning code with SheCodes Plus and I did not regret it. It was a very enriching experience and also rewarding : I made my first fully functional weather app. What an accomplishment!

I'm absolutely amazed at this course!! I can't believe that I learned basic coding and I'm really proud of myself for learning a new skill set. It was easy to keep up and understand the lessons. I could always rewind back and review whenever I wanted. I love how Matt provided walkthroughs on the solution. My family and friends are really impressed with what I was able to create in 3wks of doing this course. When I showed my 8yr old what I created he was really blown away. He's taking a coding course as well, and I think this just gave him the motivation, that you're able to accomplish anything if you put in time and dedication to it. I'll definitely look into taking an upgraded course for sure!

This is my first time learning to code and I've enjoyed every part of it. I found the learning and challenges fun and easy to follow. The solutions also really helped, I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone.
SheCodes provided a great structured way to learn coding. Over the past 3weeks I found that I was able to understand lots of different concepts which helped me to complete the tasks assigned. Slack provides great support with opportunities to learn from others, as well as self directed searches.
In just 3 weeks I was able to learn so much about html, css, and javascript which are languages I have always tried to learn whether it was through a class or by myself but never could figure out. Matt Delac is a very enthusiastic instructor who can portray material as daunting as coding eloquently and effectively. I can finally say that I know how to create my own website and be proud of it! I can't wait to see what I can do next.
