I learned a lot in a few hours. The course is very interesting, the only thing I would improve is the possibility to search for precise content within the material already viewed.

I really like the workshop. I have been thinking about learning the basics of coding for a few months but never found an interesting and realistic course. I will probably take a break for a few weeks but will be returning for SheCodes Plus! I love to learn new things and this was just fun and exited. Super proud and totally recommended if you were looking to learn how to code but have no idea how or where to start!!
Overall, I really enjoyed the SheCodes Express class. It was great to be able to complete the lessons on my own time, and when I was having trouble I always found answers in Slack. I am happy to have learned some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and am going to continue with SheCodes Plus.
I would highly recommend this introductory course and SheCodes overall ๐ฏ! I have thoroughly enjoyed the structure of this course with its bite size videos and their associated challenges. The structure allows for the course workload to be achievable around life and work and prevents information overload. SheCodes is well setup to support you as a learner and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I chose to take this coding course because it was something I knew absolutely NOTHING about. The best thing about it were the deadlines. I do not have enough self-motivation to learn something so intimating without a pre-set goal. The practices and homework gave the (gentle) push I needed to really tackle this new skill.
I like how the course may be sped up or slowed down while you're still accountable to practice and submit work. The Slack help was 5-stars. I'm looking forward to building on what I learned in Plus front-end.
This workshop is amazing and coding with SheCodes was an awesome experience! The learning experience was off the chart, in so little time I got to learn a lot. It was extremely educational, practical and inspiring, with an amazing teacher (Matt) and all the mentors in Slack that helped us through every task. I had always been interested in trying out coding but it always seemed too difficult and complex. I can definitely say that enrolling at SheCodes is the best decision I've made. I am very happy that I finished SheCodes Plus with confidence and looking forward to continuing with SheCodes React!

I never coded before so was nervous that this would go over my head but it was really easy to understand and I was able to learn a lot really quickly.
A well constructed course that made learning simple. I have struggled to pick this up in the past, but it was so much easier this time around. I feel like I am now equipped with the basic understanding to take this further.

After watching the free coding sessions with Matt, I decided to take a chance and invest in myself. I have been wanting to learn coding for years. As a young mother of two boys, I understand the need to stay challenged and relevant in the work-force. Coding is the future and will continue to be in high demand. I want to do everything I can to stand out and continue to advance in my career path. Supporting my family is must! SheCodes is a program that I've been able to easily follow and grasp at my own pace. Not the mention the community and staff are super supportive. I feel like I'm finally able to move forward with my coding goals because of SheCodes. I've had an absolute blast on this course. I really engaged with the style of learning as it was interactive and well paced. There are so many extra tools that SheCodes offers when learning, which allowed me to tailor my learning to suit me. Whenever I had a problem, the response on slack was so quick and allowed me to see where I had gone wrong or what I needed to do in order to improve my code.
I heard about SheCodes and saw the opportunity to re-connect with coding. It was a very challenging course, but definitely learned a lot in the past few weeks. What an amazing experience.

I have really enjoyed my first SheCodes workshop. I have come in as a complete beginner so some aspects I have found challenging but not overwhelming. I am really excited to start my next SheCodes course and spend more time practicing the skills I have learnt so far.

The React program was very difficult and rewarding. I would say that I definitely feel like there is more to learn, and I can see the potential that this language provides on the heels of JS Vanilla. Throughout my experience with SheCodes, I am more and more convinced that programming is a life skill.

I have a scientific background so coding for me was really a new (and exciting) experience! I have always had a keen eye for details and thought how fun and cool would be to create projects related to typography, colours and patterns. Since last year I decided to look for courses within tech that could utilize these skills. As soon as I found SheCodes I sign up for the webinar, and after that, I decided to go forward. I couldn't be happier with what I have learnt so far. Matt and all the team is really helpful and I definitely recommend it. I am very inclined to jump to the advanced course ๐
SheCodes Workshop is phenomenal! I started the SheCodes adventure as a total beginner without feeling it at any point, because the way Matt explains every part and every step is perfect. The challenges are very interesting, but not everything is served, so we also have to learn to use Google for research and develop thinking in the right direction. It was a fantastic learning experience! The entire workshop structure allows you to learn in a quick and clear way and get you motivated. I signed up for this workshop out of curiosity and the acquisition of new knowledge and ended up with the urge of developing that knowledge to a professional level.
The course is easy to follow and only a few hours each week at your pace so you won't feel exhausted. There's homework each week with a deadline which really helps with my procrastination! I'm amazed at what I've learnt in just 3 weeks with SheCodes!
I took on the daunting task of learning new a new skill and changing careers and SheCodes made everything so much easier! It was overwhelming at first, but all the lessons are well detailed and organized. The support offered through Slack is super helpful and staff sends messages of support and breaks down the code to help you with problem solving. I had enrolled in separate webinars with information on how to break into the coding and development world, and I was happy to see that I was already well prepared and knew most of the material covered after just a few short weeks. I have dabbled with Codecademy and some free coding resources before but still found them a little too theory based for my learning style. I really enjoyed the challenges, the structure of the workshop delivery and how Matt shows you how to utilize different tools to aid you in your work! Definitely re-sparked my interest and passions in the Coding and Web Development world and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
It is a good workshop to learn how javascript works but also as I was working on final project with time limitations, I understood it would be so nice to know how to use frameworks to code faster in the future. In other words, this workshops gave me a nice start, but also motivation to look further.

Another great adventure and next learning step with SheCodes is completed! In December 2020, I couldn't even imagine myself coding a responsive weather application and now I have it in front of me working well! I would like to say big thanks to Matt for his well structured learning videos and chalenges. Also, thanks Joao for your support on slack. Definitely Shecodes workshops open the mystical door of coding to complete beginners ;) As another new workshops have just been introduced by Shecodes team (Shecodes Pro) I'm considering further learning:)! Even though I don't have any plans of changing my career path into front end development for the moment, I believe I gained a valuable knowledge, trained my logical thinking and extended my horizons.

I have always loved learning foreign languages because every new language opens up a new world and a whole spectrum of possibilities. It is the same with the programming languages. I really enjoyed this course even if it is just a little step to become a programmer.
I would highly recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn how to code, ( I have tried other ones in the past very unsuccessfully ) but coding with Matt and SheCode, it's simply the best course out there and so incredible easy! I can't wait to start SheCodes React course now!
SheCodes Plus was a challenge! I enjoyed it very much, though. I've learned a lot during this course and I really look forward to expanding my knowledge and coding skills. I recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to have a wider concept of coding.
Very good workshop. Great for from-scratch-beginners like me. The videos are easy to watch, Matt is a very good teacher, the recurring challenges make it easy to keep up with the learnings and the self-paced format makes it easy to balance with our day-to-day. Bear in mind that it is really beginners level, meaning, manage your expectations as you won't come out of the workshop as an autonomous coder, being able to "upload" your website or gather data from user interactions.

I had the best learning experience. Before I started this workshop I didn't understand anything about coding, after the first class I felt so comfortable with this new language. I never thought it would be so easy!๐ฎ You need to dedicate some time to it, of course, but its only one hour tops per day during these weeks. If you'll like to learn a little bit more about programming, this is an AMAZING way to start. I still have a long way to go, but I feel more confident and most importantly I removed the idea from my head that this is too complicated and that you have to study for years and years (what's true is that you need to practice, practice and practice ๐ ) Thank you Matt for creating this program. I really enjoyed this workshop and learning about React! SheCodes Plus was definitely a challenge for me, so transitioning into React felt like a breeze (at first), but I know there is still so much more to learn! If there's one thing I would want more of, it would be: more explanation on *why* things work the way they do. The video content is all super helpful especially watching Matt problem solve on the spot, as they come up. Whenever I ran into issues, I was thankful to have Slack as a resource, but I do wish I knew how to troubleshoot for myself a little better. I know that will come with more practice though, and I'm grateful to have gotten the basics down in this course and working on my final project! ๐ฅณ
I was always "afraid" of coding, but with SheCodes Workshop, I saw how easy it was and made me feel empowered and ready to learn more! Matt explains everything with such patience, and I was greatful I could do it at my own pace. I feel like if you have a basic knowledge of HTML and Javascript, you should pick SheCodes Plus. I did the beginner course, which taught me a few things, but felt like it wasn't enough, so I decided to take the next step, and it was the best decision. I learned so much, I felt truly challenged and had so much fun along the way. I was able to do the classes at my own pace, which is ideal when you are juggling the full time job's responsibilities and workload.
I've learned so much from Matt in this coding program. It has really pushed me to further my education. All of his employees are kind and want women all over the world to succeed in tech. I am very proud of the page I created and happy with all I've learned in the course.
