So far, i've learn so much within the past three weeks!!! I have never thought I would be able to learn another skill in my late 20's and especially something like this! The lessons are easy to follow and was a little tough at first and defiantly took down notes! The lessons are explained very well thanks to Matt. My next part of this journey is to complete the 4 month program and become a Jr developer before the summer starts and get a job I like! Since discovering SheCodes, I would recommend this to any woman wanting to learn how to code!

Incredibly challenging and equally interesting course. I am in awe with the potential of coding, and I particularly enjoyed learning React. SheCodes is an exceptionally good platform in guiding the learning journey of a coding analphabet as I was. The online support provided is exceptional and help you not lose your path in the forest of coding symbols.

SheCodes really helped me understand coding by really challenging my thinking skills. As a beginner, I now feel more confident than ever before to code and understand what I am reading. Now I can take the skills that I have learned and progress into further learning. I am so happy that I found SheCodes and could complete it in little to no time at all!

I have always wanted to learn coding and I am really grateful for this exciting course. It was really interesting and I got very motivated becuase I could practice while learning the theory. Learning with visual material was really nice and has helped me a lot.

There's a lot of info crammed into a short amount of time but it's done in a manageable way so that my brain didn't hurt too bad! It's pretty cool how I was able to amalgamate all the lessons into a final project. I have even able to make the final project related to my work as an elementary teacher. The support when I needed it was excellent but I do strongly recommend researching bugs and questions on your own because lots of additional learning happens this way! I spent way more than 5 hours per week but maybe this is because I nerd-ed out more than necessary? As with any new learning, would have to keep up the practice in order to maintain all this new knowledge. Definitely recommend!

SheCodes Plus Workshop was really amazing! I have learned more advanced techniques which will be very useful in developing my future career :) I would highly recommend this Workshop to everyone! :)

I have enjoyed making my portfolio for the first time. I learned a lot more now about creating a responsive design (in an actual work) makes me think this is how UI designs come to life. Doing it myself makes me appreciate the hard work designers and developers do to create a masterpiece.

I have tried many online class formats - and I still didn't feel confident in the basics. One of the main problems was that information I would find was out-of-date. This workshop helped me put together the information in a concrete way that was easy to follow while ensuring I was learning current best practices. That's pretty cool!

I started off as a beginner, with absolutely no knowledge on how to code. After doing the first three week workshop I now know how to code a bit. I love how you can complete assignments at your own pace but still meet a deadline. Matt literally breaks it down in his videos, step by step making it super easy to learn. I am now excited to move on to SheCodes Plus!

I learned more in these 3 weeks than I have in any another bootcamp or from self discovery. The beginner course is excellent and I would recommend it for anyone looking to dip their toes in.

This review is a contrast to the review of the first Shecodes course. Overall, I really struggled with this course. For me, it felt like a massive step-up and I am not sure I made it. I have submitted a very basic and flawed final project which I aim to keeping working on. I felt many of the JS topics were rushed and too advanced for me as my only experience was that provided in the first certificate experience . Everyone else seems to have swam through theirs with ease. So, I think working full-time, being a parent and being older than most in the cohort has not helped! I regret to say this will be the last of my Shecodes experience as I really struggled with holding onto and applying the learning provided. Good luck but definitely be prepared to watch those videos several times.

A great coding workshop for beginner. I learned everything from scratch. The workshop teaches you how to create a concept and guiding you step by step to make an idea to life. By the end of this course you can build a website and deploy it on a free platform.

I am glad I took SheCodes. I wanted to challenge myself and learn something new. My current employer is focusing on integrating technology to better assist clients. I believe this skill will help me advance in my career. Learning the basics from this course was as a good start. I plan to continue learning coding. I am looking forward to this new journey.

I started this workshop out of curiosity and as a hobby to see whether I would like it or not. But Matt makes everything so smooth and easy to understand. And through the challenges, almost after every step, you practice and learn a lot! Highly recommended for the coding enthusiasts :)

On top of it I finally have responsive portfolio site, which I couldn't bring myself to do on my own. Glad this additional course was added. I not only learned more valuable information, but I was able to build my own portfolio. This will allow me to build websites for other projects I have been working on.

I was so excited when I learned about the Responsive Workshop. I absolutely loved the other three courses and really appreciate Matt putting this one together! Learning how to make a multi-paged and responsive website was such a fun and informative experience. I highly recommend all of the SheCodes Workshops for anyone even remotely interested in learning how to code - you will not regret it!

So i loved the videos but I wish that it were a bit more self-paced. I feel like I really struggled to learn the if/else statements and wanted more time to focus on learning them.

This was a great course to learn the basics and get me started on web development!

This workshop was great -- Matt is an awesome instructor so the lessons were engaging & informative. The homework assignments were great with learning to apply the new knowledge & even leaving some parts to research on your own. Very excited to continue my journey with SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes gave me more understanding how coding works! Matt's lesson plans are easy to follow and include hands on learning. I have a full-time job and never thought I would be able to do any coding courses with my schedule. The lessons are at your own pace and Slack has been a lifesaver with everyone helping each other out. Looking forward moving to do Plus and React!

This has been the most approachable coding learning experience that I have ever participated in! I was so scared to even get started, but once I took the leap I was hooked.

I've been working in the business of Art and Design as well as UX and Digital Marketing for a long time, and I wanted to sharpen my knowledge and mostly learn to be a better coder. I really like the Shecodes teaching method and instructor.

I have gained useful insights on how to build a webpage using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I would highly recommend SheCodes, because it is easy and fun to learn, unlike other coding courses where there are longer videos and multiple-choice tests.

As a marketer, it's great to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript so I can have better control over my content (and improve on the templates given to me). Coding can seem overwhelming since there are so many languages and things to learn but this 3-week workshop was exactly what I needed and the format is really easy to follow.

I have learned a lot during those 3 weeks. Before the workshop I had never worked with html, css or java script and now I have a basic understanding of how the three coding languages work and play together.

Finally!! It was a long and a short journey at once. I was frustrated at some points, but that's how it should be when you learn something completely new, right? It was so fun, I learned a lot and I always got quick help when needed. Thank you SheCodes! Without you, I would never make it happen.

I strongly recommend SheCodesPlus course. I have learned a lot of useful and interesting content. The project is a great challenge where you practise and you have the opportunity to continue learning. Great course :)

After finishing SheCodes Basics I knew for sure that I wanna continue learning how to code. I can't even believe where I got in just two months. From building simple landing page to actual working app with real data. I am so excited to move on to React and get even more out of the course. 💪🏻

This 8-week workshop was very challenging but rewarding at the same time. If you work a full-time job and are considering doing this workshop, I advise you to strictly manage your time. It was quite tough to learn something new on weekly basis and retain that information while still working full-time.

Loved the process of learning something new. It was challenging at times trying to figure out how to make something work, but with the help of the team and the videos that Matt had provided for us was amazing help. Can't wait for the next step

All I can say about this workshop is WOWZERS!😲 I didn't realize until now that the baseline languages I've been learning in college(C++,Python,Etc) is like a quick start to knowing just about all of them. I didn't expect to catch on as quick as I did, but it happened and its all thanks to workshop! I really appreciate the assistance from the tutors and videos. Its showed me that I'm capable of way more than I know when it comes to coding now more than ever!😊😊😊

For a person without any experience in programming, with SheCodes I was able to finish a project, that until a few months ago I never thought I could. I have learned so much lately, that now I feel more confident about getting a job as a front end developer

I really liked the format of the course, it is very easy to navigate. Moreover, I especially liked the practical part where you get to put in practice the skills obtained during the learning sessions. I think Mark does a great job as a teacher, he is very direct and does not make it look like difficult, just challenging which is exciting. The biggest selling point for me about SheCodes is that you can learn according to your schedule throughout the week, but having the homework deadline gives you that push to prioritise it. Having no background in coding at all, i think it's amazing how much you are able to learn in such a short period of time. I also really appreciate that you can go back and re-watch the lessons when needed.

When I was informed there would be a new SheCodes Responsive class, I remember I was already ready to take 5 week-long-course. While adjusting the curriculum with my own pace of learning, I challenged myself to finish the weekly homework earlier than the deadline. It was not easy to secure my spare time. after my full time work. By fully utilizing my early morning time before my work and minimizing my social and fun activities for my future, I was able to create the project about Climate Change successfully. Like other courses that I took, the learning journey with Matt, Joao, and other support staffs was not always smooth to carry on but definitely worthy to try again and again (but never give up). Like a quote "Your strength is your own knowledge." I would love to show my greatest appreciation to SheCodes as I believe I became intellectually stronger than before. Responsive course has taught me that we would need to consider the end users when developing any products. Nowadays, people would. check the information via mobile web and it is crucial for developers to make sure that the. webpages would be responsive and SEO friendly. Thank you again Matt and I am already excited to take another course from SheCords.

I decided to start this coding journey out of curiosity, ended up learning a lot! The teaching method was great, along with all the tips to find additional resources. I have enjoyed working through the SheCodesPlus workshop. The lessons provided gradual knowledge accumulation, while the final project posed quite an exciting challenge. I am curious to learn more about Front-End development and the possibilities it brings.

It is a very interesting workshop and fully completes what was learn in JS and React ones.

Coding is something I have wanted to learn for some time so I did quite a bit of research online, but I kept coming back to SheCodes, so I booked myself onto the free 1 hour session one evening. I was completely engrossed and couldn't wait to start learning properly. I was really drawn to SheCodes as everything is broken down into bite-sized sections, and as a complete newbie, this really stood out to me. I love the fact there are lots of shorter exercises to complete after most of the lessons with a longer homework piece at the end of the week. Being quite a practical learner, this is by far the best way to help me understand. Love how there is a community on Slack, where everyone can help out, as well as the experts if you get really stuck. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants a taster of how websites work; but be prepared, you may good hooked!

I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone! The tutorials are very helpful and at the same tome it also teaches you how to go and search for your own answers, which really pushes you and encourages you to learn more!

I have never used React before and I loved it!! I have learned a lot and improved my programming skills!!

I knew coming into this class it was going to be challenging, but wow was I surprised about how easy shecodes made it to learn. It definitely will take a lot of practice to use all of the concepts without having to constantly look back at my notes, but I now understand how basic coding works! In 3 short weeks, I created a website with user interaction. I have never been more proud of myself!
