First time learning Python and thanks to Matt it was very easy to follow along! The resources are good for beginners.

This was wonderful. The team really believed in me and if felt like I was walking the entire journey with Matt, fellow learners and the greater team. He's a wonderful teacher. I would totally recommend.

🚀 Why I started: I love learning, especially when I can flexibly integrate course content into my everyday life. Programming - especially frontend and web design - has always fascinated me and I wanted to finally delve deeper into the subject. 🌟 💡 What I learned: From HTML Input Types to Select Elements to moment.js and moment timezone - this course not only showed me new tools, but also helped me to significantly deepen my JavaScript knowledge. 💪 The biggest challenge? JavaScript is super fun ... as long as the code works. 😅 But when it doesn't, it can be really challenging. I've learned to stay patient and systematically look for solutions - and that sense of achievement when everything works is priceless. 🙌 ✨ My highlight: My favorite part of every project is when the basic structure is in place and everything works - then I can really let off steam in CSS styling. Still a media designer through and through. 🎨💻

Its been a wonderful journey of learning new concepts in simple ways that make learning interesting and fun. I like that he codes while recording and we are able to relate with some of the syntax errors.

For as long as I can remember, I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Life, however, had other plans. After secondary school, I applied for nursing, but circumstances led me to pursue a diploma in chemical engineering. While the field held promise, I quickly realized it wasn’t the right fit for me. I felt stuck and confused, unsure of where my true passion lay. Then, everything changed when I discovered coding through SheCodes. At first, I was nervous to try something completely different, but as I immersed myself in coding, something clicked. I found it hard in the first week before completing my first homework but after that it became fun and easier. Even just with the Basics you learn a lot because it is explained in a very simple and in an easy to grasp way.

I'm surprised at how much I learned in just 8 weeks and how quickly it came to an end. I was initially worried about completing challenges and homework on time in addition to my current commitments but the coursework was well organized and very manageable.

I had be researching the best online bootcamps and colleges to addend for this but as soon as I opened SheCodes and read all the other student's testimonials I knew it was the right choice. In this workshop, I learned what Python could be used for. I was able to make a basic weather app by the end of the course. It also made me more comfortable using functions and how to make code cleaner and more concise.

Just completed the Basics Add-On and WOW! I've been learning CSS before this but the course breaks it down in perfectly manageable and easy to understand pieces. It has increase my understanding and knowledge of CSS in just a few lessons.

Taking our first steps towards a new goal can be quite intimidating. I know I felt that way before I completed my very own SheCodes course. A comprehensive dossier. A great interface for courses designed to enable all learner styles alike: visual, auditory, read/write, kinaesthetic. A complete set of tools. A community to "pave the way", to listen, to provide support, because SheCodes evidently knows we are stronger when we are together. It all adds up to an amazing experience, one which will in turn open the doors on which we dare knock, made for women all around the world.

I have had lots of fun while learning how to code with Matt. The workshops are interactive and even when you get overwhelmed it feels like you want to keep trying. I highly recommend all the workshops. My new goal is get all of them, not only the web design but phyton and bootcamp looks really interesting

The Python Advanced course was my toughest challenge—it took me almost two months, as backend isn’t my favorite. But Matt made the lessons engaging, and learning to handle and visualize data was truly rewarding. By the end, I built an interactive project on my own. It’s challenging, but absolutely worth it!

Shecodes AI was a great learning experience for me. I didn't know how wonderful it is to work with AI, and I am thinking of pursuing it even further. One would say that I must be feeling overwhelmed but to be honest I don't not even a little bit. I can build AI applications that are capable of meeting human needs especially with our fast-paced lives and I am confident that I can apply what I've learnt in a workplace environment because the course was well structured and was easy to follow. I felt the course was well thought out. There was a good balance between making sure the basics are well understood without making it too repetitive for those with experience in other programming languages. I like to look at the summary of the project first, build it and then watch the step by step videos. I find I learn better that way, and the format of this course allows us to do that if we want.

This workshop is hard but I learn so much

I came to one of the free classes to see what SheCodes was about and it was intriguing but I still wasn't completely sure so I decided to just rip the band-aid and sign up for a workshop and I don't regret my decision one bit! Super beginner friendly but also challenging enough to feel a sense of accomplishment. I will definitely continue to build on top of what I learned. I can confidently say that I want to continue to pursue coding after getting through this workshop! 10/10

Embarking on the journey of learning advanced CSS has been an incredibly rewarding and transformative experience for me.
