As frustrating as brilliant, said with love! There is a lot to wrap your head around, but instructions are clear and highlights the fact that learning to code is hard, there is not just one solution and that practise is necessary - I wish I'd had more time set aside personally, but as the project is finished, I'm looking forward to go back and review the steps and develop a deeper understanding and become more proficient before enrolling in next step

I didn't have any coding experience before starting SheCodes. It has been a challenge so far but a good one. I am amazed at how much I have learned in the matter of a few weeks. I am looking forward to learning more/as much as I can from SheCodes to further my career.

I am a lawyer with no prior coding experience. This course was easy to follow and was interesting. I am looking forward to learning more in the future course!

I'm honestly so glad I decided to invest in the Basics workshop. I had SOME experience with HTML and CSS (none with Javascript) prior to the course, learning most of what I knew on the job, but it helped a great deal to thoroughly go over coding fundamentals in a sensible order. I appreciate how these concepts are broken down into "bite sized" lessons and that there's incentive to practice with some level of accountability on the part of students through homework submission, without being too intense or stressful a system. I consider SheCodes a worthy investment.

I loved being able to learn about code! This workshop was really challenging at times, but I could tell how much I was learning and with each lesson I understood more and more.

I work for a small legal charity which means that we all have a very hands-on role in all aspects of the work we do - including keeping our website up-to-date! I did this course to improve my skills and learn something new (especially during lockdown). I learned so much and had way more fun doing it than I thought I would! I would highly recommend this course to any women; it's a must.

A super worth it workshop that gives you a full insight on React. I truly enjoyed build this weather app and the dictionary option was a wonderful addiction. I hope to see new content in the future, because learning with SheCodes is so cool as it seems :)

I chose to do a SheCodes Basic course because I am interested in a career change. Since I had never coded before I was a complete beginner but quickly picked up what was taught in class. I like how you can slow down the teaching videos when you're learning something new if it's very complicated. Very proud of myself for having completed this course and for everything that I've learned.

I am so happy that I stumbled upon SheCodes through a LinkedIn profile of someone else. Learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript was something I had wanted to learn for a long time and Matt made it easy and fun. I never thought Coding would be that addictive. I will definitely take the SheCodes Plus and maybe even further courses in the future.

Got an email on my birthday that Matt and the SheCodes team brought out new course. The natural path was to join it. Five weeks later and I have yet again learned so much. Absolutely love the community and the support that we get from the SheCodes team. The short lessons makes is very easy to follow for someone like me that struggles to concentrate for long format lessons. 10/10!

This workshop was definitely a good experience. Contents are well structured and Matt explains them clearly and step by step. The exercises and homework help you consolidate the learning process. Highly recommended!   

I did three courses with SheCodes the beginner’s workshop, the shecodes plus and shecodes react. I enjoyed the fact that the short videos were easy to understand , the knowledge shared was up to date and the questions were always answered within hours. This made the learning experience easier and more accessible to everyone even those who don’t have any coding background. Thank you :)

I had a good time learning how to code. I have always had trouble with Javascript, but the workshops made it easy to understand.

I had such a wonderful experience with SheCodes Plus! Matt structures the course in a way that allows you to learn and build your skills, step by step as they were taught. The workshops and the instructor, are both brilliant, I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone interested in changing their careers in order to learn the fundamentals of programming as well as working on real-based projects. The instructor guides his students step by step with tons of examples.

Coming to this course, I only knew a few things about coding. I can not believe how much I have learned in the past three weeks! For the first time, I enjoyed what I was taught and feel confident in my ability to do the task at hand! I found the challenges beneficial because they forced me to practice coding instead of just taking notes. The practice through the challenges allowed me to have a better understanding of the content. I look forward to learning more about coding and expanding my skills within technology.

The Basic course was Amazing, and I had a lot of fun! The best parts was figuring out my mistakes and learning from them all at the same time. I would love to continue with the remaining courses. The modules were easy to understand, plus the visual and hands-on-training made it perfect for my learning style!

I am absolutely thrilled with this course! I am a Graphic Designer and I have been putting off learning HTML, CSS and Javascript for so long because I felt like it would be too difficult, especially while juggling work and being a Mom. Matt broke down every concept into small easy to learn steps that made it a breeze for me to fit the lessons into my busy life. I can't wait to use my new skills!

So far so good ! I like the setup and how simple and good the courses are. I have enrolled before in other learning courses in coding but always gave up. SheCodes gives me everything that the other ones were lacking. The community is great and all the help you can get if needed. Highly recommend and can't wait to continue ! :)

"Another one bites the dust". I am learning quite a lot. This one was challenging but amazing. I really feel like I can do things on my own already. So far sheCodes has really helped my development path. I am more obsessed with JS than ever before. I am ready for the next one! 🤓

I've been wanting to learn how to code for a very long time but it's hard to know where to start. I loved SheCodes Basics and can't wait to keep going. I loved the course, was well taught in a simpler and interesting way. Before I started I thought it was going to be rocket science but I was wrong, it was enjoyable, and I want to learn more.

I've really enjoyed this course. Being able to apply everything I'm learning to a project has helped consolidate the learning. It's really hands on which suits my learning style. Matt has added extra classes as I've been going through which was really useful.

The workshop (three weeks) was a great way for me to learn the basics of coding and to see if I would like it. The answer is: Yes, it was fun and I can highly recommend the course! 😍

I have never thought that it could be so easy to learn coding! During my quarantine, I decided to develop myself to make a career change which I have alwasy wanted. I stumbled upon SheCodes after a quick research. I've learned the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Matt's way of teaching makes it a lot easier to a complete beginner to understand. SheCodes is not offering just videos to watch! The fact that there are challenges following each lesson enables you to practice what you've just learned. I am really thankful to Matt and to the whole SheCodes team! For sure, I will continue with SheCodes plus because it is so much fun and the satisfaction of coding and creating is inexplicable. 😀

I absolutely love SheCodes! I was teaching myself to code for about 4 months before deciding to enroll in the workshops. Matt was able to fill a lot of gaps and clarify a lot of things about HTML and CSS that I didn't quite understand. I look forward to diving into the SheCodes Plus workshop and learning more about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and tackling Bootstrap, Git, and APIs.

This course was very intense and interesting. I really enjoyed the step-by-step approach and the challenges were very helpful in learning the material. I would lose track of time while doing the challenges and working on the final project because I just wanted to keep learning more and more.

I was SO nervous to try a coding workshop because I've never done anything coding related, but SheCodes has made it possible! The lessons are very easy to watch and understand. I love how short the lessons are; it made it easy for me to complete a lesson or two whenever I had some free time. It allowed me to work my full-time job and learn to code without feeling overwhelmed by both. This workshop has given me confidence to move forward in my coding career.

SheCodes has been an awesome introduction into coding - i've loved the step by step approach to learning and the fact that you can go at your own pace. The community is incredibly supportive, helping each other work through problems with our code really quickly. A perfect way to dip your toe in the water - whether it's to pursue a future career as an engineer, or just for fun!

Lessons were well planned out and the order was easy to follow. The weekly homework assignments allowed me to apply everything learned over the week. All in all, I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to applying everything I learned in future careers.

This workshop does not view React in all its complexity, but you get to know the basics, and you'll learn pretty fast. I really enjoyed the Dictionary project! I am excited about continuing my journey in coding/programming. :)

Thoroughly enjoyed the course and have learnt loads. Everything was easy to follow and I'm really happy with how its all gone. I have loved looking at others questions in slack to see what problems people have been having and felt I learnt loads by trying to error check.

I've been wanting to learn how to code for a while now, but I was unsure which training I should start with. I'm glad I joined SheCodes, the lessons are easy to understand and you're constantly challenged to test your knowledge. I love the interface, plus all the support you get is priceless. I started with a beginners course out of curiosity. Coding is something really far out from the type of work I do right now, but I wanted to see if this is something I could enjoy doing. The videos and the assignments are fun and easy, which kept me motivated and interested in learning further :).

Wow! I can't believe it's been six weeks. Time flies when you are having fun. React is fun to learn and use. I like how Matt elaborates each process step by step and doesn't skip to introduce us to the basics first before jumping into the more complicated ones. A lot of things I learned from the Javascript workshop made a lot of sense after learning React. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

Code literacy is becoming increasingly important nowadays and I didn't want to be detached from it. Thanks to this accessible workshop, I updated my HTML and learned the basics of CSS and JavaScript. I loved the fact that it encouraged me to do research and challenge my skills.

I really enjoyed the react course. The course was easy to follow and I learnt so much. I want to continue to learn coding as a hobby or for my future career. Who knows where I will end up having this useful skill:)

Due to the pandemic, I lost my job and I decided that it was time for me to do a job for me. I spoke with a friend about her job, as a Front End Web Developer. Shortly thereafter, I stumbled across an ad for SheCodes. I loved the message that was being expressed. I signed up and have loved the challenge. I have always been an individual who gets bored easily with jobs that don't challenge me. I have loved this experience thus far. I would recommend this to any one who is interested in learning coding, whether it be for a career change, or just for fun.

When I first started the workshop I thought it was impossible to learn coding but as time went on and as I put more effort into learning I found it because easier and the questions I was asking became more focused. This experience has really opened my eyes to a world that I was previously too intimidated to engage.

It was fun learning so many new aspects of Coding. I thoroughly enjoyed all the courses. Whoever is trying to learn front-end development should definitely start with SheCodes. Thank you SheCodes team!

I enjoyed SheCodes so much I attended all the workshops. I feel pretty confident in my (front-end) coding skills. I highly recommend SheCodes workshops! I've been wanting to learn how to code. The best part about SheCodes is that you can learn according to your schedule throughout the week, but having the homework deadline gives you that push to get it done. I also really appreciate that you can go back and re-watch the lessons when needed.

Coding has always seemed intriguing and interesting but also intimidating, overwhelming, and out of reach. I was furloughed from work and saw an ad for SheCodes. The timing was perfect for me to branch out to learn a new skill and after the very first SheCodes lesson, I've realized that learning to code is not as intimidating and unattainable as I initially thought! This is a skill that I am looking forward to growing!

Wow is where I can begin regarding SheCodes courses. Matt is hilarious - I found myself frequently bursting out in laughter while listening to his lectures. His lectures were also clear, concise, inspirational/motivational, delivered at the perfect pace, and it was very insightful to see how he problem solved in the videos itself. Initially learning to code was quite challenging and stressful..but as I completed each course on SheCodes, my perspective changed to see coding as long-game that is feasible as long as I am persistent in my efforts. The Technical Assistant on slack, Joao was very helpful and prompt to respond. The participating students raised a lot of great questions that I learned from. Other team members I had the pleasure of connecting with - Lexi/Sara were also very helpful. THANK YOU SheCodes!

This workshop has helped me more than any other bootcamp or classes to gain experience in a field I am very passionate about! Matt made it very easy to learn, understand and build knowledge to work in the current industry.

I recently quit my job where I was miserable. I decided to learn coding full-time. I have always been an ideas and user experience type person and it is great to see the beginnings of my ideas come alive. I can't wait to further my knowledge with the next workshop!

It was a great experience working through all of the SheCodes Workshop. The newest Responsive workshop was very interesting and taught me many new skills that have been vital to my development as a Front-End Engineer. The flexibility of the course has made the journey enjoyable as commitments may change but you always feel supported in your learning.

This workshop was fun, interesting, engaging, and most importantly, I learned so much! There was so much great content and I loved having the flexibility of creating my own website at the end. Thanks Matt and the SheCodes team!

SheCodes was such a worthwhile and interesting experience. I wanted to develop a new technical skill and was just drawn to coding... but wasn't confident that I had the chops for it, because I see so few women in tech fields. I checked out other courses but felt left behind pretty much before I'd started. And then being a full-time professional, I was worried I might not have the bandwidth to give to a coding class. So I thought I had too many obstacles. When I took the free SheCodes class I immediately liked Matt's style and felt at home on the site; the way the modules were broken up made it easy to digest new techniques throughout the week. It turned out to be pretty easy to integrate into my life and I really looked forward to each video. I know there's so much to learn but I think I got off to the best start with SheCodes Basics.

One more great workshop from Matt and his team 🙌 . I learned a lot about responsive websites and I'm much more confident with coding in HTML, CSS and use of Bootstrap after that workshop 😊👍

Coming to this course knowing absolutely nothing about coding, I can't believe how much I've learned so far having only taken this class for the past 3 weeks! For the first time, I'm actually enjoying what I'm learning and feel thoroughly confident in my ability to do the task at hand! SheCodes is seriously the best way to learn coding. I have been telling myself I would learn to code, but found that I needed the hands-on experience rather than just learning where things go in code. SheCodes is life-changing and I am so excited for the next workshops!
