It's been a good few months since starting the workshops, IΒ΄ve found myself learning more than I think IΒ΄d learn from any other coding program, videos are so easy to understand, Matt gives the info in a very easy way and the SheCodes team makes it even easier since they provide with a trusting platform where I would never have any doubts on what I was doing, I truly feel like this has given me more confidence in coding and has made it seem like an easy skill to learn, so no more coding/programming fear π
This 3 weeks workshop gave me the chance to familiarise with different coding languages. Weekly homework and challenges allowed me to learn and test my skills and put in practice each lesson. After this workshop I can say I feel much more confident in my tech knowledge and the experience has sparked in me the desire to learn more about coding.
I am so grateful for having been given the opportunity to learn how to code. I think the world nowadays is evolving in a ever more into a tech-world. Empowering women to participate in this world is one of the most important messages. The course has been extremely user friendly and interesting. Thank you!
I learned a lot with SheCodes. I built things that I never thought I would be able to built. It's a very good course and I would recomment it to everyone, who wants to get started with coding.
As my first official intro to coding, the SheCodes Workshop was a great experience. It's not easy navigating this new space as a designer, but it really helped me understand the process, language, and workflow of my fellow developers. I hope to learn much more in future workshops.
Hello everyone! My name is Jananisri, from Singapore. I am 17 years of age. I chose to learn at SheCodes during my break and I had a great time learning to code, both effectively and while having lots of fun. Coding is an essential skill nowadays and I am elated to have had an opportunity to learn a small part of it. I would say that this course is definitely worth the cost and would love to enrol in other SheCodes workshops.

I had always wanted to learn how to code and I tried to teach myself a few times, but it was difficult to just read explanations online and somehow apply it. So, I began looking for bootcamps and found SheCodes, and I'm so glad I did! The process was simple to follow and the videos made every concept easily comprehendible. I definitely recommend it!

While this was challenging at times, it was approachable and I learned way more than I expected. It also empowered me to learn how to search for my own answers. System approach to the concepts and relevant challenges to understand and learn the concepts.
Before SheCodes I tried to learn code on my own but without success, because I got stuck or bored. SheCodes is well structured, really easy to follow and fun. The challenges after each lesson give you a great amount of practice and there's plenty of support along the way. Thank you Matt, Lexi, Joao and Daniela.

I was afraid to begin, but after watching Matts videos, trying and failing..hehe. I feel like I learned a lot, yet the final part of the workshops feels more like a step-by-step tutorial on how to build things without actually explaining much.
I have enjoyed the SheCodes Workshop and am really looking forward to learning more about JavaScript and code in general. The idea of a career in coding is exciting and I would love to learn more about the industry.

I am so happy to have joined SheCodes Plus after finishing the workshop. I absolutely enjoyed it and I learnt so much. At times it was quite difficult but after all everything made sense to me and we got to create our own weather application that is fully functioning. Matt is a great teacher! I feel like I really understood the basics of front end development. I am so excited to continue with SheCodes React and to learn more. ππ©βπ»
Coding first caught my interest a few years ago when I realised it was all about languages. Having studied Philology myself at university I became quite fascinated but at the same time saw it as something completely outside my understanding. I thought one needed to be a Software Engineer to even start to understand coding. Also, with no women references around me it was even more alien to me. Then, whilst scrolling around I stumbled across SheCodes and had a little peak at their website. It suddenly appeared something a bit less alien and so I decided to watch Matt's webinar and here I am... It is so much more creative than I had imagined. So far I am in love with coding and I am eager to continue learning! I can't wait for new challenges. Bring it on!

SheCodes React was an awesome experience! I have learned so much. The entire course is broken down into bitesize pieces, and the challenges at the end of each lesson are really helpful with practicing and reinforcing the content as you learn. If you're looking into learning basic web development, I definitely recommend SheCodes. Lessons are broken down into small steps that are easy to understand and you can learn at your own pace(there are no set times for classes but you have deadlines to meet!). I enjoyed my first 3 weeks at SheCodes so and can't wait to start the next lesson!

I love this course! Being a mom with a full time job I love being able to watch the videos and assignments at my own pace but still have a deadline when things need to be accomplished to help keep me on track. This workshop made me eager to learn more.

I have been in a support role in software companies for awhile but I have been so intimidated by learning code! I signed up for a SheCodes course and I absolutely love it! I work full time and I am a mom so time is a scarce commodity but I have found this course so enjoyable it is easy to make time. I can't believe how much I have enjoyed working through the lessons and homework. I would recommend this curriculum to anyone!

The second (Plus) workshop has been a wake-up call to get real with coding. I wouldn't say it was especially harder, since we have learnt the basics for developers in the previous one, but it definitely required a lot more time and dedication. Also, this time I have emerged myself to the coding community here and got to know wonderful fellow coders in the making. As usual, Matt's way of teaching is easy and seamless. I have really enjoyed this workshop and highly recommend to everyone!
I had no clue what to expect in the beginner workshop. I was not familiar with any of the languages or coding it self. The learning process was much easier than I expected, the way the workshops were built were the best for my learning process, the platform was so easy and friendly that make so enjoyable to learn this new world. Β‘I finished loving so much to coding! And because of that I will definitely enroll the next courses π

It is so cool how much you can learn in just 6 weeks. Starting from a rough scribble to getting to an actually functioning online application and being able to read API descriptions. I am working like an assistant. After a few years I realize that this administrative work isn't for me. I want to change my career and I am interesting of some design fields. I was curious about programming and I wanted to try it. It was good experience for me. I will see if programming is the right for me. And I definitely will continue in my learning.

If you've ever felt like you had more potential inside of you than what was being used at work, SheCodes is for you. The courses unlocked a creative streak I haven't felt in years. While I've just learned foundational elements, I know SheCodes has built me up to take on the world.
I think this is a great beginner course for women who want to learn the very basic skills of coding and have a general understanding of how it works. The videos are easy to watch in sections because they are short so I feel I can accomplish the work within the allotted time and not feel rushed or overwhelmed. I will definitely be continuing with the other workshops to learn more!
I started from 0, knowing absolutely nothing about coding. The lessons were easy to follow, and the constant challenges were definitely a must, in applying new knowledge and even learning something new. It was a great experience and, even though it was just the beginnig, I feel so proud of what I learnt. Thank you so much!!
