I was always curious about coding but never knew where to start. SheCodes made it easy to follow and learn with their lessons and videos!

I decided to take part in SheCodes because I wanted a platform that really empowers women to take charge in their adventures of learning how to code. I found the lessons very informative and helpful. I think there was a fine line between helpful and challenging. It was challenging enough that I had to do research to explore the topics and really have fun with the different languages. I highly recommend this program for anyone on a budget and wants a more intensive experience.

HIGHLY recommend this course for absolute beginners. The project based learning keeps you motivated. Even with a tight schedule it was easily doable. I'm ready for the next workshop with the SheCodes team :)

The workshop was great, I got to learn the things I was curious about and even build something small to finish it. The whole program sets participants for success and the support provided is great as well.

If you are complete beginner and feeling really overwhelmed with all the training out there for HTML, CSS and JavaScript - unsure where to start - then SheCodes is for you. Everything is broken down into simple easy to understand bitesize chunks. If you have a free 10 minutes you can easily pick up a module and complete it to the end. You can easily fit the weekly work required into your week outside of full time work and other responsibilities. SheCodes gives you round the clock support with access to their network of support staff and other learners. Just pop a question down and somebody always answers in no time.

The best coding workshop I've signed up for. Matt has done a great job turning what seems to be an intimidating skill into something small, concise and easy-to-follow steps. SheCodes helped me retain a lot of new information in a short amount of time. The support team has always been great and helpful as well. As someone who has zero knowledge in coding, I am confident to say that I learned some new skills and now I am able to build something beautiful from scratch, thanks to SheCodes.

It was the most interesting workshop so far, I learned a lot from it and enjoyed it. Since I find the responsive web development most fascinating. Thank you SheCodes for adding this workshop!

I started this workshop with no coding experience at all and after three weeks I have learnt so much. I really enjoyed progressively building my skills in each challenge and the homework at the end of each week . Working on my own project was also very rewarding and fun! I took SheCodes Basic. Such a great course, and Matt does a good job in explaining the basics. I loved how practical each class was, getting to test the coding you just learned every step of the way.

Loved it! I've learned many new things in a short period of time. I really love the fact that you can go back and watch the lessons as many times as you need to. It was very enjoyable and I can't wait to continue.

What a great workshop! I've worked in computers practically my entire work history and I always wanted to learn to code. This is perfect for those of us who have some background and want to learn more. And if you are a total beginner, this is the class you need. You never feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the work. I feel like I learned a lot from this course. There was a lot that was covered, but you also have the opportunities to figure things out by yourself first; which is cool.

Having dabbled in code, but completely self taught I wanted to put myself through some lessons and tasks to learn the correct or best way to code. I've tried a few different course, and SheCodes is by fast the best I've done so far. It was interesting throughout and set up in chunks that are detail enough to learn from while being able to fit around work and family. I would concider completing further courses in the future.

SheCodes is everything a woman needs to learn how to code or to improve some coding skills. It is fun, practical and Matt explains each lesson so clearly that we can all understand the steps to accomplish an exercise. The Slack community is a great plus to solve your problems and help other women who might have some difficulties. I recommend the workshop to everyone who wants to learn how to code, you won't regret it, you'll just want more and more!!!

I have learned so much in the short amount of time I have been coding. The way the course is set out is so easy to learn and follow and it fit in with a busy schedule so easily. I look forward leaning more each day.

I have had so much fun learning! I have spent 6 years in higher education and can easily say these past three weeks have been a very happy three weeks of learning. I never thought I could know some of these languages and have fun with it.

Loved the experience! I've always had curiosity towards coding and programming, and SheCodes made it easy for me to understand the most important concepts. I am a dietitian who wants to change careers into tech. I didn't know where to start with learning how to code and thought I'd try out SheCodes. I have to say it was the best decision! I learned a lot very quickly and also had a lot of fun. Matt is a great instructor - clear and concise. I highly recommend!

I started this workshop with very basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and absolutely no idea how to use Javascript. In just three weeks I have learnt so much and being able to apply it as you learn in the challenges and weekly homework is so useful for cementing that knowledge. I would highly recommend this to everyone I know, even if they think it has nothing to do with their career. I have had so much fun completing this workshop and can't wait to get onto SheCodes Plus next!

I came into this workshop without any coding experience. I decided to start my coding journey as I'm in the process of a career transition from healthcare to marketing. I kept seeing that basic coding knowledge was becoming more and more valued by hiring managers and companies. This workshop is great for beginners to learn the very basics and have a good foundational understanding of coding. I'm excited to bring these new skills in the next phase of my career.

This workshop has been a great introduction to the coding world for a novice like me. I came in with no knowledge but an open mind and I have learnt a lo during my 8 weeks working on my final project. It is definitely challenging at times but you can always go back to the lessons and get help from the community and the team. Everyone is willing to help and support which is a plus especially when learning something new.

I wanted to find a way to widen my skill set and I would say learning to code has opened more opportunities than I had originally thought.

Matt has really helped me understand Javascript a lot better in this course. With the final project you do, you learn a lot of new valuable skills in a short period of time. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn about more advanced frontend development than the intro to coding course.

Everyone who is thinking of teaching how to code should follow SheCodes example. It is designed for you to learn at a fast pace but understanding every little thing every step of the way while creating your own project. I have done every SheCodes workshop available and cannot get enough. If there would be a new one some time from now I would also be doing that one.

I would recommend this workshops for people who come into contact with coding for the first time. I already knew a bit about coding so I already knew some things but there were a few things I didn't know yet like javascript. So if you want to learn something about coding and you have no experience with it yet, it is worth taking this workshop.😃

I'm looking forward to continuing my coding journey! The learning approach, the challenges, and the final project made me feel more confident with the tools and prepared for more!

I can't believe I finished my third workshop! Starting learning code was a good decision, I really enjoy the workshops, and I've learned so much with Shecode. Sometimes I felt overwhelmed but Daniela and João were always there to help! Matt's explanations are simple and super clear. Slack is a good way to debate our doubts and engage in a supporting  and helpful community.

I NEVER thought that code could actually mean fun, so yes, this was the best way to realize I actually love it. I totally recommend SheCodes, it was great to first learn step-by-step, test my knowledge from little lessons and then wrap it all up in a final exercise! 5 stars. Go ladies :3

I felt like my learning progressed greatly through doing this project and bootcamp.

I never thought I was the type to like coding. But this course is so well structured and takes you step by step through the basics. I am very proud of myself and will keep learning. :)

I'm basically with accounting background and eventually moved into testing line. So, I was very keen to join this workshop but at the same time was concerned to know if I can follow the coding language or not! Surprisingly, this workshop gave me a new confidence! I was so motivated to work on each challenges everyday on my own time. The support given during the workshop is great! I started to feel connected with apex app development work now. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested know/learn on how the coding works! If I can do it having little kid and full-time job anyone can do it.Cheers 😊

Amazing course that is detailed and thorough! It really ensures that you learn each element of the code before moving on to something more difficult. I loved being challenged through the assignments and feel like I now have a great grasp on the fundamentals of coding.

Really please with how much I have learnt in such a short period of time, videos and instructions were easy to follow.

So far, i've learn so much within the past three weeks!!! I have never thought I would be able to learn another skill in my late 20's and especially something like this! The lessons are easy to follow and was a little tough at first and defiantly took down notes! The lessons are explained very well thanks to Matt. My next part of this journey is to complete the 4 month program and become a Jr developer before the summer starts and get a job I like! Since discovering SheCodes, I would recommend this to any woman wanting to learn how to code!

Incredibly challenging and equally interesting course. I am in awe with the potential of coding, and I particularly enjoyed learning React. SheCodes is an exceptionally good platform in guiding the learning journey of a coding analphabet as I was. The online support provided is exceptional and help you not lose your path in the forest of coding symbols.

SheCodes really helped me understand coding by really challenging my thinking skills. As a beginner, I now feel more confident than ever before to code and understand what I am reading. Now I can take the skills that I have learned and progress into further learning. I am so happy that I found SheCodes and could complete it in little to no time at all!

I have always wanted to learn coding and I am really grateful for this exciting course. It was really interesting and I got very motivated becuase I could practice while learning the theory. Learning with visual material was really nice and has helped me a lot.

There's a lot of info crammed into a short amount of time but it's done in a manageable way so that my brain didn't hurt too bad! It's pretty cool how I was able to amalgamate all the lessons into a final project. I have even able to make the final project related to my work as an elementary teacher. The support when I needed it was excellent but I do strongly recommend researching bugs and questions on your own because lots of additional learning happens this way! I spent way more than 5 hours per week but maybe this is because I nerd-ed out more than necessary? As with any new learning, would have to keep up the practice in order to maintain all this new knowledge. Definitely recommend!

SheCodes Plus Workshop was really amazing! I have learned more advanced techniques which will be very useful in developing my future career :) I would highly recommend this Workshop to everyone! :)

I have enjoyed making my portfolio for the first time. I learned a lot more now about creating a responsive design (in an actual work) makes me think this is how UI designs come to life. Doing it myself makes me appreciate the hard work designers and developers do to create a masterpiece.

I have tried many online class formats - and I still didn't feel confident in the basics. One of the main problems was that information I would find was out-of-date. This workshop helped me put together the information in a concrete way that was easy to follow while ensuring I was learning current best practices. That's pretty cool!

I started off as a beginner, with absolutely no knowledge on how to code. After doing the first three week workshop I now know how to code a bit. I love how you can complete assignments at your own pace but still meet a deadline. Matt literally breaks it down in his videos, step by step making it super easy to learn. I am now excited to move on to SheCodes Plus!

I learned more in these 3 weeks than I have in any another bootcamp or from self discovery. The beginner course is excellent and I would recommend it for anyone looking to dip their toes in.

This review is a contrast to the review of the first Shecodes course. Overall, I really struggled with this course. For me, it felt like a massive step-up and I am not sure I made it. I have submitted a very basic and flawed final project which I aim to keeping working on. I felt many of the JS topics were rushed and too advanced for me as my only experience was that provided in the first certificate experience . Everyone else seems to have swam through theirs with ease. So, I think working full-time, being a parent and being older than most in the cohort has not helped! I regret to say this will be the last of my Shecodes experience as I really struggled with holding onto and applying the learning provided. Good luck but definitely be prepared to watch those videos several times.

A great coding workshop for beginner. I learned everything from scratch. The workshop teaches you how to create a concept and guiding you step by step to make an idea to life. By the end of this course you can build a website and deploy it on a free platform.

I am glad I took SheCodes. I wanted to challenge myself and learn something new. My current employer is focusing on integrating technology to better assist clients. I believe this skill will help me advance in my career. Learning the basics from this course was as a good start. I plan to continue learning coding. I am looking forward to this new journey.

I started this workshop out of curiosity and as a hobby to see whether I would like it or not. But Matt makes everything so smooth and easy to understand. And through the challenges, almost after every step, you practice and learn a lot! Highly recommended for the coding enthusiasts :)

So i loved the videos but I wish that it were a bit more self-paced. I feel like I really struggled to learn the if/else statements and wanted more time to focus on learning them.

This was a great course to learn the basics and get me started on web development!

SheCodes gave me more understanding how coding works! Matt's lesson plans are easy to follow and include hands on learning. I have a full-time job and never thought I would be able to do any coding courses with my schedule. I've been working in the business of Art and Design as well as UX and Digital Marketing for a long time, and I wanted to sharpen my knowledge and mostly learn to be a better coder. I really like the Shecodes teaching method and instructor.

I have gained useful insights on how to build a webpage using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript. I would highly recommend SheCodes, because it is easy and fun to learn, unlike other coding courses where there are longer videos and multiple-choice tests.
