I love the SheCodes Basics workshop! I didn't know what to expect since I had no prior experience with coding, but Matt made learning the material fun to understand!

I am really enjoying learning how to code on shecodes. The flexibility in the program has helped me learn at my pace during free time.

This course helped me recall html from when I learned it in highschool. It revived my interest in coding!

SheCodes has been instrumental in showing me that I can code and that it's not as scary as it may seem at first. Everything is hands-on, and that really works for me as I learn best by doing. Not only that, but I could fit it in to my lifestyle - it was easy to balance the assignments, modules, and projects while maintaining balance between my work, social, and home life. I'm so glad I found SheCodes and it's definitely going to help me kick-start my coding career.

This course has truly ignited my passion for coding. I have always wanted to learn to code but thought I needed to have some special talent for it. Matt debunked that theory in the free coding class instantly and got me excited to begin my first workshop. I definitely gained some excellent baseline knowledge of coding, though, it was a ton of information. Matt did an excellent job teaching; the instruction was clear and engaging. I cannot wait to begin my next workshop!

This workshop is harder than the Basics workshop because there is a lot more to learn. I do not recommend binging the videos for this workshop in one day because the challenges and homework are more time-consuming and more difficult to complete. I advise taking notes and for videos that do not include challenges, I recommend doing the example shown in the video alongside Matt.

I am surprised by what I have built and learned in this course. It went beyond my expectations.

Another great SheCodes workshop! Learning responsive web development has been a challenge, but I've enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you SheCodes for these great workshops and I can't wait to learn React!

This workshop was very fun and engaging. I was able to learn many new things and was very proud to be able to build and personalize a simple webpage by scratch!

This was a very exciting course to be part of and learn from. It is very easy to understand and learn from what is provided, but the most amazing part is that you don't learn like a "parrot", you have to apply code and thinking of your own. You get help from a tech team and your fellow learners which is great! I had so much fun with my final project and intend to just keep making it better and creating other fun projects.

Thanks Matt and SheCodes team for your amazing workshop. I've taken a lot of training courses and can genuinely say that SheCodes has some of the very best. Had a fantastic time learning the basics again and if you are a newbie or someone who wanted to refresh those coding skills, this course is for you. I really enjoyed it, and the sense of achievement in the workshop is really good by turning in our weekly homework and final project. To say I learned a lot during the three weeks basic course, is an understatement. After the basic course, I now feel motivated to take SheCodes Plus which I know I would do well in because of how the courses are taught.

I have enjoyed learning to code through SheCodes. It has been challenging at times, but fun and a great journey. I was intimidated at first regarding software development. I started without knowing a thing about coding; but now feel comfortable and excited to take on the challenge in learning new languages and tools. I really enjoyed learning how to integrate API into my project and further learn about all the things you can do with JS and CSS!

Before starting this course, I did not have any knowledge about coding -though I was always so curious about it! I have just finished SheCodes Basics and WOW! Within 3 weeks, I've learnt plenty about HTML, CSS and JavaScript and built a basic web page from scratch! Learning to code can be challenging, however, it is indeed rewarding too. Remember that, to really learn this stuff, you need to immerse yourself in it. Keep practising! I highly encourage anyone new to coding to enrol in this workshop. Do not hesitate! Really enjoyed this 3 week workshop - learnt HTML, CSS and JavaScript and so much about the role of coding in modern day industries too! I really appreciate all the resources provided to help develop my programming and technical problem solving skills!

This workshop has been so great; I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about coding or web development! I've learned so much in just 3 weeks! The learn-then-apply format has been excellently executed by SheCodes, using a lesson + challenge + solution for each topic. This was super easy to follow and can be done at any pace, starting and stopping at any time. The cheat sheets are also great references for the homework, project, and future use. I like that the content of the workshop is modern and we learn to be resourceful in a modern way (using google searches to learn more, Slack channels to solve problems with our classmates, etc.). I have really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes so far. I feel like a developer whizz though I'm very from it 😅 I was already familiar with basic HTML and CSS but still feel like I learnt a lot and I'm even more confident with it now.

I enjoyed this responsive workshop so much. Learning the flex box method and Bootstrap grid allowed me to take my coding skills to the next level. If you want to learn to code your own designs or for any reason, I would highly recommend this workshop. Matt is an awesome instructor!

An engaging, exciting and fun course! The last 3 weeks have been challenging but rewarding - I have learnt plenty in a short space of time. Being surrounded by such a supportive community has made the topic of coding that much more enjoyable. I highly encourage anyone who is new to coding to enroll in this workshop. Not only is this course entailed with comprehensive content, you are also given plenty of opportunities to apply the content with the extra advantage of having this reviewed by peers and tutors.

I've always wanted to learn how to code and I'm glad I took the jump to try out SheCodes workshop! I come from a very different background and so I don't have any experience with coding but SheCodes made it easy. I like the mode of teaching and the community is very helpful if ever I have questions about my code. I really enjoyed learning and am excited to learn more!

The SheCodes Plus workshop was a really great introduction to utilizing an API, and to showing how powerful an API and Javascript can be when applied. I really enjoyed putting the basic weather app together and look forward to being able to add enhancements as I learn more and move through the next workshops.

During the Plus workshop I've become more confident in my own coding skills, building upon the Basic and especially working with Bootstrap as framework has been an experience! Cant wait to learn more and have fun while continuing my coding journey with SheCodes!

I really enjoyed this workshop and I have really surprised myself with how much I have learnt in such a short space of time. I didn't like coding at first so I was pretty hesitant to give this a try but Matt explains it so well! I ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would. They weren't lying that even if you have a background in coding you'll still be able to learn things. Highly recommended if you're looking for new challenges!

I was exploring different hobbies to learn when I came across the SheCodes program. And I honestly could not have been luckier! The program is amazing, and Matt is a great tutor! I enjoyed the program a lot!

I really enjoyed this workshop! I liked how the lessons were short and sweet. It didn't feel like one long lecture so it was easy to spread it out throughout the week. I was happy with how much I learnt in a matter of 3 weeks with HTML CSS and JS! I will practice using VS and prettier and always testing my code! This workshop was definitely harder and more confunsing than the previous ones, but Matt and the team on Slack made it easy to learn and navigate around React. I couldn't recomend SheCodes more!

Such an exciting challenge - creating my own Weather App from scratch. There were definitely moments I felt like I was pulling my hair but the moment you figure it out & it works - That satisfaction is worth every moment. I have learnt so much during this SheCodes Plus course and super stoked for the next course!

I started this course because i was on furlough and wanted to take the opportunity to learn something new and practical. I was nervous to start coding, but SheCodes was the perfect way to do it. With Matts videos and help from João ive managed to not only finish this course, but have a lot of fun doing it!

I learned so much from the basic course. I have wanted for some time now to learn coding which I have tried different programs, and none of them worked. It was challenging and fun for me. I learn so many things in a very short time . The lessons are easy to follow and and the best thing is you can do them at your own peace !

I loved the sessions, easy to understand, I was learning at my own pace ....with no pressure.

I was interested in coding when I was younger, but did not know where to learn and get experience. But after finding SheCode I was able to learn, practice, and definitely found a new passion and hobby. And the fact that it was easy to learn, I can say confidently I can pursue something with this knowledge in the computer science field. 👩🏻‍💻

SheCodes Basics taught me so much in so little time! As a graphic designer with a strong interest in Web design, this course was particularly helpful. I am already incorporating some coding elements I've learned in my designs. The lessons are easy to follow and the challenges are fun and interesting. On to SheCodes Plus!

I took this course because I want to create my personal webpage to "show off"my Instructional Design and Training portfolio. I relearned HTML and CSS, from many years ago. (smile) Not only did I become familiar with the lastest version of HTML and CSS, I also became familiar with Javascript. (Wow). Learning these tools was very exciting. The structure of the course (micro-lessons) coupled with the exercises facilitated mastering the concepts. I know a little and now I'm dangerous (smile), however, I know I need to learn more. I want to learn more! With this format I know I can learn more quite easily. The support staff on Slack was excellent and provided timely feedback. I would highly recommend this course.

This workshop is a great intro to coding. I love that it gives you all the basics and a support team on Slack yet also teaches you to be an independent learner and do your own research.

I had never thought that I would enjoy the workshop this much! I had taken a couple of coding classes before but always left with a feeling of overwhelming. SheCodes lets you learn at your own pace, and each video is quite short and concise, which doesn't cram you with a lot of new technical knowledge. I liked that we always had challenges after a video and weekly homework to refresh our memories. Super recommend SheCodes for those we are even slightly interested in coding, just start with SheCodes Basic and see how you enjoy it!

SheCodes is very easy to follow and provides everything I need to start up. The only limitation is my own willingness to learn.

It was fun and I've learned a lot in just two weeks. I'm planning to develop my skills further with the next workshops.

I have attended the shecodes Basic Workshop for three weeks. I had been trying to learn coding on my own for the last two years while working full-time, but I was having trouble keeping up. With shecodes it was easy for me to motivate myself. You can exchange ideas and discuss difficulties with other participants in the chat and there are also deadlines to meet. Matt has structured the lessons in a very logic way and easy to digest. The workshop is very active with lots of tiny tasks which I particularly enjoyed and which helped me in my learning progress. I am considering signing up for the advanced workshop very soon!

This workshop went through everything step by step, but also helped you grasp concepts on your own. I felt it was the right amount of help and learn. At the end I felt empowered to guess the next step and sometimes get it correct! Which is a great feeling.

Would recommend all the ScheCodes workshops to anyone! I learned so much in Basic, Plus, and then React. There's nothing like building something yourself and seeing it come to life. I found coding very rewarding. I was also able to fit it in around my full time position. Every week day from 6-8 you could find me watching the lessons and completing the challenges and homework - and with that schedule, I was able to get through it without feeling stressed. Extensions are super felxible too when life gets in the way. 100/100!
