It felt like we're already brought into a professional world of web design. The learning process is easy and fun, the tutorials are not at all hard to follow and it allows many creative liberties to be done on the student's part to create something they didn't know they were capable of creating.
wow as the workshop progresses, i've learn more on how to make my website better and better. i can't wait for the next workshop. the community is amazing and so creative keeping up with them is so fun.
SheCodes Responsive was very helpful. It seems very relevant to learn how to make pages and apps friendly for mobile devices and SEO searches. Glad I have this new tools, can't wait to learn react.
As someone who started out with almost no knowledge of coding before taking this workshop, I found SheCodes to be an extremely helpful introductory program. I feel like I learned so much in a short amount of time and I feel more confident about my future as a coder after completing it.
Being an absolute novice was extremely intimidating...I wasn't sure what to expect. Matt's clear and concise demo/instructions, along with the small challenges allow you to PRACTICE little by little on your own, which surely allows you to build your confidence as you move through the courses. SheCodes has been the most pleasant learning experience of ANY subject I've ever taken, and I highly recommend to any woman willing to take the leap of faith like I did. This has been such an inspiration to me, that I'm taking the SheCodes React program next. I certainly am excited for the road ahead, and wouldn't have the confidence to pursue my career change if it wasn't for Matt and SheCodes!
This is not my first bootcamp. The first bootcamp I took, I was not able to complete. However, SheCodes, by far surpasses! The way the content and information was presented made it so much easier to learn the material and remember.
This three-week introduction to coding has been a blast. I've tried other classes, but Matt from SheCodes makes everything easy to comprehend! I believe that deadlines provide structure and hold me accountable. I've signed up to learn more, and I'm looking forward to seeing where these new abilities will take me.
I found myself mesmerized by SheCodes when I was doing challenges, and I was intrigued to learn new things about how to code.
What I liked most about the course was that every learning sequence is finished with a hands on exercise. The sequences are not too overwhelming and nicely structured. I would have loved to be challenged a bit more - so I wouldn't mind if the exercises would have required a bit more own research.
I had a great time completing the SheCodes Plus workshop, the classes were structured exceptionally well to ensure it was easy and enjoyable to follow. Achieving the completed weather app was a challenging yet rewarding experience which has built my coding confidence. I look forward to continuing my learning journey through the upcoming workshopsπ
I went into SheCodes with no experience whatsoever in coding but a ton of enthusiasm and a strong will to learn. I've enjoyed pushing myself to get through things that were confusing or frustrating and have felt a great accomplishment knowing I was able to succeed. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and look forward to the more advanced boot camps!
This journey has been lifechanging. After finishing the SheCodes Basic I was so excited to learn about the world of coding with SheCodes Plus. Little did I know back then, how much I will learn both about coding and about my very self as well. SheCodes Plus dove me to learn more and more, to not be satisfied with the average but to go beyond my limits. I am so very grateful for this opportunity. Even though I was struggling a lot (especially with the unit the conversion lol :D), it brought me an unexpected feeling of satisfaction in the end. Creating something that actually works in the end feels wonderful. Not to even mention the amazing SheCodes team led by Matt in every video that is a pleasure to watch and consisting of so many kind people that always offer a help on Slack. Thank you SheCodes Plus! I am anxious to see what the SheCodes React will bring.

I had an absolutely great experience on building my own app from one to ten!! I admit that it was not an easy one and was challenging for me sometimes. However, there's always a support from SheCodes team, so I had nothing to worry about. Through this experience, I gained a little bit more confidence in coding and realized that more comfortable to deal with it now. I am very much looking forward to take the next step and learn more about cording.
I highly recommend SheCodes as a platform for you to learn how to code. At first I really don't have any experiences in coding and I used to think that coding is so difficult that I can't never understand. But when I try SheCodes, I experienced it all myself that coding is not that hard, it is just confusing sometimes, but Matt and SheCodes made it super fun and super easy. A great introduction to the world of coding, this workshop has given me a great base to continue to learn and realise that coding it is not actually that scary to learn! The workshop was laid out very well and in such a way that made learning easy and fun.

This is my third course and I can say that I truly enjoyed it all the way through. It was *definitely* more challenging but persistency is key and my understanding of it became apparent and utterly fulfilling. Once again, I would recommend it to anyone that wants to advance in coding as a career/profession and/or just a new skill to learn. Matt is a great instructor and his team are consistently there to help especially when something confusing arises and/or when you are stuck on a code. This is worth every penny. I cannot wait to start my next and final one after my break.

SheCodes is amazing! I never thought I could do coding, but with SheCodes workshop I was able to learn in a very didactic way. Matt is amazing teacher and I definitely recommend the workshop for those who want to start learning coding .
SheCodes has been a great introduction to coding for me and I have found it a fun and flexible way to learn a new skill around my full time job. The insight I gained on the workshop showed me coding is a skill I would like to take further and it gave me the confidence to apply for a role on the development team at my workplace. I am now part of team creating a reading game application for pupils in school to help advance their reading level.

As a college student during the pandemic I have become well-versed in online classes. However, I've spent the last 5 months learning about HTML, CSS, JS, and React from SheCodes, and I learned more from these workshops than I did my entire freshman year at university. I have enjoyed these workshops so much. I can't believe it's finished!! I highly recommend them. Two months ago I had no idea what a function was, and I today I feel much closer to being able to ask for a job in the industry. A big shout out to Matt, he makes lessons fun, relaxed and also teaches to have patience while learning. It's not easy to teach technical stuff, but having the right teacher makes all the difference. The plus curriculum was a little harder than the first, but still just as fun. I feel like I'm actually learning how to code the right way.
I had never before tried coding and was quite scared this workshop would be too difficult for me. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience where not only I learned a lot, I also had fun while doing so thanks to the easy-to-follow videos that explain everything perfectly.

Learning to code was initially extremely overwhelming for me. I didn't know where to start and even while trying to learn, it felt like I wasn't actually learning anything. I'm so glad I found SheCodes. These videos were digestible, the challenges really helped ensure I understood the material and the advice was realistic.

I joined the free coding class without any specific expectations and enjoyed it so much that I ended up registering for the SheCodes basics course. I don't regret it at all, I would say I made a great decision because Matt explains everything making it look easy and that makes it more dynamic to learn. I also loved that in every lesson you get to practice what you learnt, which I believe is what makes you actually learn it. I personally liked coding because it is quite interactive and you also feel fulfilled when you see in a visual way what you created.
It can be so scary to start something new in any facet of your life, but this journey has been so rewarding. I am a novice to the world of coding, but the way this course was taught made it easy to learn all the new information. There were a few times I needed extra help, including asking for extensions, and everyone was very helpful and nice. I would recommend this course to everyone, again and again!
Cannot recommend this workshop more! I learned so much, and feel confident putting my new skills to use! Because of SheCodes, I am ready to start my career transition!

I had some knowledge of HTML and CSS since I meddled in coding and everyone had blogs in the 2000s. However, I knew nothing of Javascript and knew very little about the several aspects of CSS. In three weeks, I've learned so much. Matt is energetic and kind and explains things very, very well. I'm extremely excited for the next workshop!

What a fun and challenging journey it has been! I now understand why JS tends to give developers a headache π I have learned so much, and Matt managed to make all this information so much easier and fun to digest. Learning with SheCodes has been better than I expected. Matt explains everything in a way that anyone could understand. I joined SheCodes because I want to build a skill while also being creative. JS is not an easy language to understand, and what I learned is that I don't really have to understand everything. Just be patient and practice a lot.
I really enjoyed learning, testing, redoing, having other ideas during my course days. The information is clear and if not, you can follow the projects of the other participants, get inspired, talk to people from other countries and bring it all to your final project. I'd like to thank SheCodes' initiative to bring women closer to technology and show that it's possible to learn programming in a practical way at any age and career moment of each one.
