WOW! That is all I can say (mostly). I have learned so much and this course forced me to learn more than I had to. I found that I was extremely curious. Matt equips you to learn and gives you the tools to search on your own. Not only that, but I found that when life got a bit hectic, I could extend my due dates. I have loved learning and coding beside all of these fantastic women!! If you are on the fence, just do it. You wont regret it!

SheCodes has enabled me to achieve one of my goals for this year. With fantastic explanatory videos and a great support group as a backbone, I learned to code in 11 weeks. Now I have the confidence to code my own website and I am really looking forward to using the knowledge I have gained.

Learning to make your code "responsive" I believe is the funniest part of coding. I like to stretch and release things so they can become dynamic. This is what I enjoy the most in every field: make things readable, "barrier-free", usable. And This course has been perfect aligned to my needs!
Ok now this was exciting, challenging and confidence boosting at the same time. Its never easy learning a new skill but i genuinely had so much fun learning with this workshop. Also how the team is always there to help whenever i got confused or lost is so amazing to me.I see computers and technology in whole new different perspective now, not to be dramatic but i feel like i finally found what i love. This is a great workshop! I knew nothing about CSS, HTML or JavaScript and this gave me the basis to create a website and learn more about computer languages. The team is also fantastic, they always respond in a short period of time and give you tools that are very helpful! 5/5 πππππ

I really enjoyed these 3 weeks with SheCodes workshops. I think it was very beneficial to have the challenges for me to be able to apply what I had just learnt. It was challenging and yet fun. Hopefully, I will be doing some of the more advanced SheCodes workshops soon
I learnt so much more than I expected in 3 weeks! The content is really well put together in bite-sized chunks with challenged along the way to cement your learning.
Matt is a great teacher and I enjoyed a lot the small challenges and homeworks. I am impressed by how much I learned in just 3 weeks.
Before SheCodes, I knew less than nothing about coding. Now I got at least a basic knowledge about how coding works. Women tend to work in jobs outside of tech, with lesser payment. I want to improve my knowledge further and give my daughter, when she is older, the opportunity to learn coding, so she can decide if tech is something she wants to do in the future. I highly recommend the course!

SheCodes is a very user friendly, easy course. You can set up your own time and phase. It's for everybody who wants to learn a new skill like coding. It is challenging but there's people who will support and help you. I would definitely like to continue learning.

I went to school to become a Web Developer many years ago, and I gave up because I feel as if I never learned. I tried many careers afterwards but was never happy. The layout of this program is very user and learner friendly. I am a graduate from an associates program that did not have the level of support or logical layout that this program does. So simple but brilliant, you learn the concept, practice it, then submit an assignment with the new concept. I feel very encouraged as a woman entering the tech industry thanks to this program and the community it has.

SheCodes has made it accessible for me to delve into the world of coding. It is something I always had an interest in but was scared to take the leap and try to learn due to high costs of other courses and being employed full-time. SheCodes has been easy to follow along, I love being able to go back and review lessons to enforce my learning, and also the flexibility with deadlines if for any reason I need extra time to complete the assignments. I am excited to continue with the rest of the courses!
It is so great to continue this way with SheCodes together. Learning step by step how to code an internet page with several pages, links, pictures, etc and all is responsive to the size of the screen is really amazing. Thanks for such a great workshop.

If you are interested in starting a new career or are just curious about coding, I highly recommend SheCodes. My thanks go out to SheCodes for making HTML, CSS, and JS so easy to learn. It was incredible how much I learned in just 2 weeks, compared to the amount I could learn in most generic coding courses. I absolutely love the challenges and the homework. This will provide many possible job opportunities and will be extremely helpful for resumes. Matt Delac explained and demonstrated how to do every step so easily and simply that I was initially worried I would not know how to do anything. As a woman, I'm very thankful for the opportunity to learn effortlessly and without stress!
To be honest I never thought I would be interested in coding or anything similar, but I heard about SheCodes, tried the free class and there was a little spark! Like most people I compared coding to chinese, something very very hard and too complex. But the truth is SheCodes made it a lot simpler and fun to learn! I am just only starting, nothing too complex yet, but still, I feel really proud of what I have accomplished so far!

The SheCodes Basics Course was fantastic. I was impressed with the content delivery as well as communication with SheCodes staff. I had previously dabbled in HTML, however, this course was just what I needed to begin learning JavaScript, while extending my knowledge of CSS and HTML. The great thing about this course is that you don't need to have any prior knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript to do it. Thank you - I look forward to completing the other courses soon!

I am so thankful how easy SheCodes has made it to be able to learn the basics for HTML, CSS, and JS. In just 2 weeks, I learned SO much compared to the amount you could learn from most generic coding classes . It gives so many possible job opportunities, and will be so helpful for resumes. At first I was worried that I would be clueless, but Matt Delac explains and shows how to do every single thing so easily and simple. I am very thankful for the opportunity as a woman to be able to learn easily, with no hassle!
I had a hard time executing the if /else statements with buttons in particular. However, it was worthwhile to review, practice, and complete this first project! I very much look forward to learning more in the next class!

SheCodes Plus workshop was a great adventure that motivated me to continue learning how to code. It made me believe that I can be good at it and maybe pursue my career in this area. Feeling like wonder woman after having coded my own website from scratch. This was a great intro into responsive web-design, would highly recommend to anyone considering looking to further polish their HTML/CSS skills. The videos were great and very detailed and not only cover coding skills but go into some of the more practical details as well. So you not only learn how to write the actual code but you learn how to think like a coder/developer. Excited to continue my journey with SheCodes React.

I really enjoyed this course on making web pages more responsive. I learned a lot of cool and interesting things about how to make websites better.
I started programming as a side task in my previous job to build some basic applications in Google App Script to automatize some processes. I discovered that I liked coding and that the job of developer would enable me to have a more flexible lifestyle than I used to have. After trying to learn coding on my own via free courses and YouTube videos, I realised it would be more efficient to have a better structure of learning with deadlines, challenges, projects but also flexibility, which is why I registered to SheCodes. Even though I had already some basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, this course was clearer than any of the other content I had already learnt from and helped me understand better what I was doing. I would like to stress that you DO NOT NEED to have any experience in coding to register for SheCodes. The courses are very structured and the fact that you apply what you learnt right away in some small challenges helps absorbing the information.
SheCodes responsive workshop is definitely worth of your time, money and effort. I've learned a lot and also realised how much I need to learn in the future. This course will take your coding skills to the next level.

These bite-sized bits of information make it really easy to understand the concepts and follow the instructions. More importantly it made me able to generate a website! Wow! ;) Of course you can learn all this with free tutorials from the web but you won't have the community, the feedback and the deadlines. I enjoyed the experience and might join again in the future for additional courses.
I remember being proud of my previous coding projects but I always had to make excuses for why it didn't look good on a phone screen. Now, I'm so glad that I've learned how to make those pages responsive so I can stop being embarrassed! This is an essential development skill.

I took this class as a way to figure out if coding is a career path that I am willing/wanting to pursue more seriously. And I would personally highly recommend the SheCodesBasic course for anyone wondering if coding is something they are even somewhat interested in. You really do learn the Basics, and I believe that it will help you make decisions regarding your future armed with much more knowledge than you might have had before!
I enjoyed the course and have gained a much better understanding of coding. I think the average estimated hours given for the 3 week course were quite inaccurate for me and it was much more time consuming than I was prepared for it to be. Whilst the videos are good, they are not always very clear and seemed to deliberately leave things out as a challenge. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I personally felt the slack channel wasn't a very fast or reliable method of support and so these regular gaps of information became frustrating at times. We are also encouraged to search Google for help, but the issue there is that many sites were discussing coding terms and techniques we hadn't learned so any methods suggested for certain issues didn't seem like viable options. Overall, I think it's a good course and I enjoyed it, but would advise anyone doing it with no prior coding knowledge to ensure they have time to dedicate to it.

I'd already had some HTML and CSS knowledge and never felt ready to jump into learning more about them. But thank God I made up my mind and chose SheCodes! Matt is an awesome teacher, he takes time explaining - also it's a huge plus that I can go and learn at my own pace! I've had so much fun building the final project and really lost track of time researching for applicable codes and finetuning my project - I 100% recommend taking the course!
