I did the Basics course and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The challenges are fun and I felt like I learnt a lot in a short amount of time.

This was the best experience learning to code for me. I was an absolute beginner when I started. Before I took this class, I never imagined I would be able to code. Matt does a great job of starting you off small, so that you feel victories as you go along to keep you motivated. All of the information about the programming languages was up to date information. This is much better than trying to go it alone. I enjoyed the final project so much and I would recommend SheCodes to any ladies I know that want to learn.

Loved every bit of the responsive course! Going through the course, I noticed myself getting ahead of what video I was actually on thanks to all the cool new stuff I learned! Super excited to keep furthering my coding journey!!

It was a great experience with a great learning effect! I had so much fun going through the fundamentals. I'm interested to build upon my knowledge and I would be looking into continuing this. Support was also great via slacks. Overall, I am happy that I made the first step. Thank you 🤗

Really enjoyed the course content; and the team are very supportive with my new job and responsibilities at home. I know my final project could be a lot better, but I would never have learned any of these skills before.

I would highly recommend taking part in the SheCodes workshops! As someone who had never coded and had no knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript before starting my first coding workshop with SheCodes, I found the workshops very informative and more importantly, enjoyable. I had a wonderful time learning how to code and putting what I had learned into action. I felt proud seeing my progress throughout the workshops and completing my final project on my own. If you are hesitating whether or not you should join the SheCodes workshops, I would tell you to go for it. The SheCodes team is very helpful and as a bonus, you get to be part of a wonderful, global community of female SheCoders! :)

Responsive was great! I learned a lot, it was challenging but it is definitely bringing me closer to becoming a better coder and opening a door into a new career.

This was a great introduction to coding which has highlighted the unlimited creativity that accompanies it. I had no experience in coding before starting this workshop, but I learned so much in a short space of time! I would highly recommend this workshop to beginners.

I highly recommend SheCodes. Why?!! Because the instructor was great. I tried ways for learning to code but SheCodes was different! You never get bored of courses. Learning to code was amusing for me. I loved it! SheCodes is the best choice for people that want to learn to code. I promise that nobody won't be disappointed by learning to code here.

SheCodes is the best place to learn coding since it makes the most troublesome ideas, the least demanding to learn :D

This was so much fun! I thoroughly enjoyed this course - it was clear and concise, with an appropriate level of challenge. I'm happy to have learnt a new skill and honestly, I don't know why I've never learnt coding before, because it's a good fit for me. I'm definitely going to build on what I've learnt and continue developing my skills and knowledge.

This course has really helped me build my foundation for these coding languages. It showed me that I am truly passionate about this and cannot wait to dig deeper and learn more. This is the best way to get started with your coding knowledge with the projects and challenges as well as the help the team provides on Slack whenever you are stuck.

The classes were short but bursting with information and flowed really well. It made it easy to follow and learn from.

Before doing the SheCodes workshop, I had an idea of how to inspect and troubleshoot HTML. But being able to build a website from scratch is next-level! The lessons were easy to follow, and I'm happy with the progress I've made during the past 3 weeks. Looking forward to learning more about coding.

It has certainly been an experience so far! Learning to code will definitely surprise you its not would i thought it would be pleasantly surprised actually. Matt and team have broken the courses down into perfectly sizeable chunks, attention to detail is key but i will say be prepared to put you're perfectionism aside in order to persevere.I would recommend to give shecodes BASICS to see if coding is for you.

I hope I will be completing all the tasks, enjoying coding so far! Expecting to learn more :)

This course was very well explained and broken down, the information was really easy to process. The instructional videos were short and packed with all the information you need to learn to code , the homework was challenging, which was great to investigate further, use your logic and come out with your own solutions!

Perfect workshop for someone with zero previous knowledge about coding. Short but well precise video lessons. After each lesson there is a challenge to complete, great way to put into practice what has been learned.

SheCodes Plus is a really nice way to dive into code by teaching complex features in HTML, CSS, and especially Javascript. The videos give a smooth path to follow and the challenges really help to assess and anchor progress. The big plus compared to other ways to learn is the dedicated slack: the possibility of getting the help of the SheCodes team when feeling stuck keeps the motivation level high throughout the weeks. I am grateful I took this program which not only developed my skills but made me discover a new world I'm actually very interested in :)

I learnt so much and i am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked on something that actually did not come naturally to me at first. I have obsessed over this project, playing around for hours, and it was equal parts frustrating and fun! The whole team, and other SheCoders, have been so helpful and kind on Slack as well, so thank you everyone!!

I love SheCodes workshop!!! This was fun and easy way to learn coding. I learned a little bit when I took web design class in college but, it was difficult to understand. Taking this workshop, watching the videos, doing the challenges, and homework made it help. I recommend anyone to take this workshop. The SheCodes Basics workshop is a great way to learn the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript very quickly!

This course is perfect for beginners. I learnt so many things. Each week is split into many tasks so you do not feel overwhelmed and the community on Slack was very helpful and friendly

Learning to code has been a goal of mine since I started college. With 6 years of professional experience to speak from, I now know the importance and value of learning basic coding skills that you can apply in the workplace. The SheCodes curriculum was seamless in helping me start to build my coding toolbox. Although my coding journey has only just begun, SheCodes has definitely helped me build a strong foundation, and I will surely be back for more!

I enjoyed the basics course so much, Matt's style of teaching really suited me! I was hooked on learning and decided to enroll in the Plus course - I am so glad I did. The sense of achievement in building my own app is so gratifying; that I have already gone on to sign-up for the React follow up course. I've made amazing connections along the way and know that SheCodes will always be here to support me in my coding journey :)

I started SheCodes without any background on coding, computers, etc. This has really helped me out to pursue coding as a professional career. I am really happy with how this course turned out for me. I am looking forward to learn more and be better.

I used to HATE any coding courses I did in university as part of my design degree. Even though my brain held on to a lot more information than I previously thought, the past 3 weeks definitely made me understand the basics and be able to actually use it without "cheating". SheCodes let me experience the joy of learning for the first time in a long time. I thought it would be too difficult to me but from this course I feel more confident.

I enjoyed the course and learned a lot from it. The content is well organised and focused on practical situations. Matt communicates super friendly and makes it easy to follow along. The Slack group is also a nice asset.

This course was great. Although it has been challenging at times, I have learned so much.

This class was tough but Matt explained everything in a way that made it easier to understand. I have to admit I did watch some of the videos more than once ... or twice. I cannot believe how much I learned. Great class!

Can be tricky but more practice and rewatching of videos helps out. The way we can bring something to life (working) always makes me happy and excited to learn more.

I had a great time learning to code easy and to the point...

As a certified Salesforce Administrator, I understood that I would be working with developers at the IT department. So I thought it necessary to learn some programming concepts. Attending the SheCodes workshop, this has been realized. I cannot wait to learn something new at the React workshop because SheCodes makes learning coding enjoyable.

What an amazing journey to learn coding with REACT. The teaching method and making applications lead you to try more and continue learning as much as possible. I started with SheCodes Basic, continued with SheCodes Plus and SheCodes Responsive and now I ended with SheCodes React, it's unbelievable for me to be able to go through this long and enjoyable path. I always thought that coding was hard. That was until i took the initiative to sign up for shecodes. The community on slack is absolutely amazing!! Everyone is helpful and learning is easy!! Matt Delac is an absolute genius! The videos are extremly clear and to the point and i found it helpful going back if i didnt get something the first time around!! I highly recommend !!

I really enjoyed the course and looking forward to learn more. I honestly wasn't expecting to have so much fun with SheCodes workshops! I love that I can learn on my own pace and can easily fit it into my work schedule. All the videos were clear and easy to follow, plenty of extra materials and a tech support that never disappoints! I've been wanting to learn how to code for a very long time but it's hard to know where to start. I loved SheCodes and can't wait to keep going. I love the format of the workshop, especially the fact that there are homeworks and deadlines. I am super excited to go through the end!

I had a great 3 weeks learning to code using Matt's simple and effective videos. As a business analyst, I work with Software Developers and have always been interested in understanding more about what they do (and what they are talking about in meetings!). This has given me a great, basic understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript.

I find it amazing the difference that 8 weeks of learning can make. SheCodes structured this course in a way that helped me solidify the skills that I had developed in the Basics course, and simultaneously gain new ones. I was able to go from building my first landing page to a fully functional weather app in just a few weeks! It gave me the opportunity to stimulate both creative and logical sides of my brain as a student of Graphic Design, so I'm looking forward to seeing how much more I'll grow in my next course!!

SheCodes Plus was a bit more challenging than SheCodes Basic, especially with three heat waves and a toddler at home. 😅 In the end, I needed all three extensions… But it was also incredibly rewarding! I learned a lot and it is so much fun to master all those little challenges that come up during coding. When I finally submitted the weather app I had built (the final project), I couldn‘t help but feeling proud of what I had created and of how far I have come since I started my coding journey. Now I'm excited to start the next workshop and learn how to make sites responsive!😁

Thoroughly enjoyed this course and the way it empowered me to not only build and tweak and find solutions to improve my own code, but also understand the backend of any code via developer tools. I'm already finding that it's uplifted my skills at work and it's been so fun learning a new and very relevant skill!

I completely recommend this course to any one considering coding. I learned how to code at Uni and LOVED it so was eager to get back into it again. This course provides you with all the tools to digest the learning with support, solutions and a community to talk to other people on the course. It was such an enjoyable experience. When I started the introduction workshop I had zero experience with HTML, CSS & Java Script. 3 weeks later I've learned how to code my own web page and have a new understanding of web design. Matt is a great teacher and explains everything super clearly, I'm really looking forward to joining the next SheCodes workshop!

I have been wanting to learn to code for while but was always nervous that I wouldn't be able to do it!! Matt and SheCodes proved me wrong :) I really enjoyed all of the lessons and challenges and couldn't believe how much I was able to learn in just a single week! Matt was a great instructor and made everything so easy to understand. I also really loved the SheCodes community, it made me feel connected to a group even though all of the sessions were virtual. This course in, without exaggerating, the best course I have ever taken. For MANY reasons. I have no background in the Tech. I never had ANY interest in it either, until a couple of weeks ago. I love how flexible, pedagogic and mind-blowing this course is. For me, someone with zero experience, it was a bit TERRIFYING to start coding, but this course is almost impossible not to pass. The instructions are smooth to follow. Lessons are short, informative, and bring lots of value. Challenges are in line with lessons. This entire course is divided into shorter sessions, making it so smooth to learn. I cannot believe how much I have learned in under three weeks - it is INSANE! If someone would have told me few months ago that I would be able to create a webpage using HTML, CSS and JavaScript all on MY OWN, I would never believe them. And this was just a Introduction Workshop! I am looking forward to starting the next workshop! If you are hesitating, if you have second thoughts, DO NOT. This will be the best investment you will ever make. Matt is an incredible teacher and this course could change your life! I have never been this proud and HAPPY with MYSELF and my achievements. I really enjoyed the bite sized lessons, they are very engaging and immersive. Easy to schedule my time for learning as well. The small challenges after every lesson has been great to test my understanding of the topics.

SheCodes Plus was not easy but I learnt so much from this course and it gave me an edge over my classmates in my engineering course. Matt was a great teacher and his videos were very easy to understand. The programmers in slack were also very helpful in answering all my questions. I hope that this will be of help when I apply for my professional internship.

SheCodes Basic was a great introduction to Coding. Matt makes breaks it down and makes it easy to learn, especially for a beginner like me with zero knowledge of coding. I really enjoyed my experience learning the basics and can't wait to learn more and advance my skills with SheCodes Plus!

This course gave me so much confidence and the ability to do things I couldn't do before - given how affordable it is it's a bit unbelievable how much you are taught. Matt explains things in an easy to understand way and the whole things is organised so each piece of new information builds on the last piece, so you never feel like you are learning too much at once that you can't connect to what you already know. I honestly think everyone should do the basics course even if they think they can't - I think you'll surprise yourself.

I cannot even begin to describe how amazing it feels to have learned so much in just a three-week workshop. I started out more or less knowing only that HTML, CSS and JavaScript were things that exist in the world and now, I'm building full pages using all three. I am so happy I gave SheCodes a try, I had no idea just how much I would love coding and plan to continue my journey in hopes of opening new doors with an eventual career change, all thanks to the Matt and the SheCodes crew.

I am so happy I decided to take the SheCodes basics course! I learned so much in the short time and loved the hands-on way Matt teaches to code. It was so interesting coming from a background in UX UI Design to see how that translates into front-end development. Excited to continue learning!

A great introduction course for learning the basics and really suited my learning style. The lessons were very thorough and Matt provided great explanations and framing of coding concepts. The challenges covered concepts discussed in the lessons but sometimes required a little extra research; all great preparation to learn how to solve problems and utilize the countless resources online.

I've been building a solid learning path thanks to SheCodes. The Responsive course gave me the opportunity to show my professional progress with confidence. I am proud of my accomplishments and I'm looking forward to learning more in the field of programming and considering career opportunities as a developer!

Taking the React add-on course was a good extension to the first React course. You build a dictionary app with React and you also fetch APIs so you can continue practicing the skills you learned in the previous React course.

I learned so much on this journey can't wait to keep learning!

SheCodes is perfect if you don't want to spend hours on watching videos on how to code, Matt made short but informative videos that made it easier to understand and fun to learn!

I loved SheCodes-Basic! Before I started, I didn't know anything about coding whatsoever and I was always a little intimidated by it. I liked Matt's way of teaching straight away (not easily done because I am a teacher myself 👩‍🏫) and it is still truely amazing to me, how much I learnt in that short span of time. It gave me a lot of insights into the world of coding - so much in fact that I decided to continue with SheCodesPro to change careers, as I recently became unemployed.
