This was absolutely the most fun course so far. I had so many lightbulb "ah ha!" moments and really felt the need to push myself to make my final product the best that it could be. This course made me feel like I'm ready to code anything! Really looking forward to taking on the next course with all I've learned from this one.
Amazing!! it's such a great feeling to know I have learned a new skill and with it can create projects like the Weather App. There are many pros to SheCodes, but the one thing I absolutely love about it is the fact that Matt teaches with real-life examples.
I don't think that I have enjoyed a program like this before. I have learned so much in the three weeks. So informative, organized and the videos are amazing. I can't wait to see what is next.

This SheCodes Basics course is the first step towards my career change to being a front-end developer. I think every woman no matter where she lives or what she does,should start coding with this amazing team.I didn't know anything about coding and now I'm surprised how much I've learned in only 3 weeks.
Before I start working on this workshop, I was not sure if I could finish the course because I am a procrastinator when it comes to self-paced. However, once I start learning coding it was really fun and I enjoyed creating something new from scratch. I will keep learning until I am confident enough to explore a new career!
I enjoyed SheCodes Plus as much as I did the introduction course. Learning how to code involves a whole new way of thinking. It has so far been very challenging at times, but it's great fun when you see the end results! It's great that the SheCodes team is always available on Slack to answer any questions.

I loved the mix of videos, exercises and bigger projects at the end to combine and refresh everything that has been learned! After completing the SheCodes Basics and SheCodes Plus workshop I started with SheCodes Responsive and I didn't expect to have so much fun learning to create a responsive website. If you want to become a web developer or if you are interested in building a website from scratch, this course is a must-do as online traffic on other devices than a desktop is increasing. I would definately recommend!

I love SheCodes! Matt makes everything very easy to understand and even when I get stuck, other members are on Slack who might be having the same issue and you will find what you need. Matt even encourages you to google when you can't find an answer on Slack. I've only gotten stuck twice and found the solution easily by ways of Slack or a simple google search. The homework and projects are a great way to put everything I've learned into action and it's fun for me at the same time. Thank you, SheCodes!
I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone remotely interested in learning how to code! It is ideal for women who work full time as the classes are completely flexible and you can work at your own pace. It has been so interesting working through challenges and thinking logically in order to get the code to work. I look forward to starting the next SheCodes workshop - on to SheCodes Plus!

I've learned A LOT during this course, the step-by-step videos are so easy to follow which makes it easy for anyone to understand! I had a lot of fun putting the final project together as I really understood what I was doing. There's still a lot left to learn, but I for sure understand the basics now.

I have successfully completed all the SheCodes workshops. I highly recommend these workshops if you are looking into coding. I have started a year ago and thanks to Matt and all the team I fell in love with coding and I will be looking for a job in the field in the future. Learning how to code has helped me understand better how everything works, I've been able to communicate better with people in my team who are programmers and engineers. I still have a long way to go, but I do believe this is the best way to learn I've found so far, even though sometimes it's not the easiest.

Great for having some structure and deadlines to hold yourself to while you learn how to code. The amount of material is also very achievable to get through when you are limited on extra time to commit to learning (approx. 5 hours / week compared to 10+ hours with other programs). I also like the nice mix of bite size videos and exercises to get hands on practice with the concepts. Best way to start out my mornings learning new skills.
My coding journey over the course of the 4 workshops has been incredible. React definitely has a steep learning curve but once you've gotten a grasp of the concepts, it really empowers you to build cleaner, elegant projects. I've learned so much and while I still need to learn a lot more to have marketable skills, I'm confident in continuing my studies. Thank you Matt and SheCodes team for all your support!
It was a great introduction to see if coding was for me. It was easy enough to follow Matt's directions but with enough challenge to make you feel comfortable enough to find the solution yourself.
