SheCodes is an amazing! I've learned so much about coding, which is something I never thought I'd do. My weather app project was challenging, but a lot of fun and the SheCodes team was very supportive through the whole process. Creating a working product feels like such a big victory. Coding has always seemed so daunting but I always had an interest in it. As a total beginner, this workshop was a great introduction to the world of coding and provided a step-by-step process to ensure I understood the foundations. Matt's teaching style was simple and his explanations were easy to understand. The challenges and homework assignments were engaging and achievable. Working through each lesson and discovering more new things that I could do gave me a sense of accomplishment and a desire to learn more.
I think this workshop was fun and challenging! You definitely need to organize and plan what you want to develop in order to get good results and save time. However, these results take time, persistence, and learning/researching constantly. If you get stuck, take breaks or do more research. Don't be afraid to ask for help in Slack and remember that this is just the beginning of a front-end developer's journey.
I've really enjoyed learning React and seeing my work update in real-time. I have learnt so much with SheCodes and it has really helped me progress professionally! I am excited to continue developing my skills - thank you so much!

I learned a lot in this course. The topics were divided into smaller pieces, so it was easy to learn. Almost every lesson had its own challenge, which gives you a lot of practice. I would recommend this lesson if you want to learn the basics of coding.
Just finished SheCodes Basics and I'm super excited! It's way different from what I've experienced at university. Here, it's all about practical stuff rather than just theory. I learned more here than I did in three years at university! Matt makes even the complex things seem simple. Plus, the community is super supportive. I'm enrolling in the next SheCodes Plus workshop for sure. If you want to learn coding in a fun, hands-on way, you've gotta try SheCodes. It's a game changer.

Overall I really liked this intro course! I can't believe how much I have learned, and how comfortable I feel coding only after 3 weeks. The video lessons were really well explained and if I had trouble I would look at the SheCodes resources or the slack channel and my questions would get answered pretty easily. Now whenever I'm on any website I right-click inspect to see what else I can learnπ. I'm excited for the next stage!
it can be a bit of a challenge if you're a literal person and try to apply exactly what you learned but the professor teaches one thing and you have to apply what you learned and think a little bit more.
Responsive skills are highly valuable! I'm glad I could learn some of the industry standards!

Great course to start from scratch! I really enjoyed learning by doing. The course is well structured and super easy to follow. The community and the team is super helpful through slack. I've never thought coding would be so much fun!
I have loved completing the first part of the SheCodes course and have learnt more than I thought I would. The way in which you learn by watching videos and then putting into practice what you learn after each section is so easy to follow and really helps you pick things up.
This workshop has fulfilled all my expectations, which were to take my first steps in Javascript. And I had a great time learning and challenging myself!

I've been a front-end student for some time now, I decided to take the SheCodes course to keep myself motivated in my studies, and it was really the best thing I did. I recycled my knowledge and learned a lot of new things that I can apply to more advanced projects.

My experience doing the SheCodes basic course was very good and surpassed my expectations. I am a banker by profession but I have always desired to know how websites are built. I have always been fascinated by the web and how engaging it is and how much knowledge one can acquire from it just by a click of a button, not to mention how easy it has made life for everyone. The learning curve however looked intimidating, and so I really yearned for somewhere where I could feel motivated to learn to learn to code ..and keep learning and not give up, just to see if this is a career path that I would find endearing. Those answers are what I got right here for a great price. What a highly engaging and interesting way to learn and to believe that you can code. I loved the challenges that kept me on toes and ensured I was consistent in my learning. I loved working on my final coding project because I learned that I can do anything that I put my mind to. From here the sky is the limit. I plan to take the SheCodes Pro course and become the kind of frontend end developer I now aspire to be. Thank you SheCodes!

I have really learned a lot in this course despite being at a beginner level. Matt not only teaches you the basics of JavaScript, HTML and CSS, but he also teaches you throughout the course methodology so you can learn on your own once the course is over. The concepts are clear and easy to keep up with, plus the Slack community is a great support to help you when you're stuck.

Coding always sounded too difficult to learn, but SheCodes made it fantastically easy to learn, and clear to understand what was happening.
WOW! That is all I can say (mostly). I have learned so much and this course forced me to learn more than I had to. I found that I was extremely curious. Matt equips you to learn and gives you the tools to search on your own. Not only that, but I found that when life got a bit hectic, I could extend my due dates. I have loved learning and coding beside all of these fantastic women!! If you are on the fence, just do it. You wont regret it!

Learning to make your code "responsive" I believe is the funniest part of coding. I like to stretch and release things so they can become dynamic. This is what I enjoy the most in every field: make things readable, "barrier-free", usable. And This course has been perfect aligned to my needs!
Ok now this was exciting, challenging and confidence boosting at the same time. Its never easy learning a new skill but i genuinely had so much fun learning with this workshop. I really enjoyed these 3 weeks with SheCodes workshops. I think it was very beneficial to have the challenges for me to be able to apply what I had just learnt. It was challenging and yet fun. Hopefully, I will be doing some of the more advanced SheCodes workshops soon
I learnt so much more than I expected in 3 weeks! The content is really well put together in bite-sized chunks with challenged along the way to cement your learning.
Matt is a great teacher and I enjoyed a lot the small challenges and homeworks. I am impressed by how much I learned in just 3 weeks.
Before SheCodes, I knew less than nothing about coding. Now I got at least a basic knowledge about how coding works. Women tend to work in jobs outside of tech, with lesser payment. I want to improve my knowledge further and give my daughter, when she is older, the opportunity to learn coding, so she can decide if tech is something she wants to do in the future. I highly recommend the course!

I went to school to become a Web Developer many years ago, and I gave up because I feel as if I never learned. I tried many careers afterwards but was never happy. The layout of this program is very user and learner friendly. I am a graduate from an associates program that did not have the level of support or logical layout that this program does. So simple but brilliant, you learn the concept, practice it, then submit an assignment with the new concept. I feel very encouraged as a woman entering the tech industry thanks to this program and the community it has.

SheCodes has made it accessible for me to delve into the world of coding. It is something I always had an interest in but was scared to take the leap and try to learn due to high costs of other courses and being employed full-time. SheCodes has been easy to follow along, I love being able to go back and review lessons to enforce my learning, and also the flexibility with deadlines if for any reason I need extra time to complete the assignments. I am excited to continue with the rest of the courses!

If you are interested in starting a new career or are just curious about coding, I highly recommend SheCodes. My thanks go out to SheCodes for making HTML, CSS, and JS so easy to learn. It was incredible how much I learned in just 2 weeks, compared to the amount I could learn in most generic coding courses. I absolutely love the challenges and the homework. This will provide many possible job opportunities and will be extremely helpful for resumes. Matt Delac explained and demonstrated how to do every step so easily and simply that I was initially worried I would not know how to do anything. As a woman, I'm very thankful for the opportunity to learn effortlessly and without stress!
To be honest I never thought I would be interested in coding or anything similar, but I heard about SheCodes, tried the free class and there was a little spark! Like most people I compared coding to chinese, something very very hard and too complex. But the truth is SheCodes made it a lot simpler and fun to learn! I am just only starting, nothing too complex yet, but still, I feel really proud of what I have accomplished so far!

The SheCodes Basics Course was fantastic. I was impressed with the content delivery as well as communication with SheCodes staff. I had previously dabbled in HTML, however, this course was just what I needed to begin learning JavaScript, while extending my knowledge of CSS and HTML. The great thing about this course is that you don't need to have any prior knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript to do it. Thank you - I look forward to completing the other courses soon!

At first I was worried that I would be clueless, but Matt Delac explains and shows how to do every single thing so easily and simple. I had a hard time executing the if /else statements with buttons in particular. However, it was worthwhile to review, practice, and complete this first project! I very much look forward to learning more in the next class!

SheCodes Plus workshop was a great adventure that motivated me to continue learning how to code. It made me believe that I can be good at it and maybe pursue my career in this area.
