Iβm so happy I found SheCodes for the start of my coding journey. Matt has a way with how he teaches and communicates that really cuts through the usual expectation of how confusing and difficult learning how to code seems. I feel like Iβve found the new path I was searching for, thanks to Matt and SheCodes, and I canβt wait to continue on with this journey with SheCodes plus and beyond!

It's been such an interesting 3 weeks. I took a complete interest in coding after succeeding to build my first HTML page from the free 60mins video guide on SheCodes. I found it fascinating. Being given an opportunity to learn coding by the Delac Foundation through their scholarship program has been exciting. In 3 weeks I have learned the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The method of teaching is simplified and very relatable. I like the fact that we are encouraged to do more research of our own, as well as to find out other ways to solve specific problems and not compelled to reproduce the teacher's solution. Thanks to SheCodes I look forward to learning more and becoming a full-time developer.
These classes are easy to follow and the explanation of how and why to use certain codes is very explainable. I love that each segment is in small bits of information, giving the student a chance to absorb the lesson in small bouts. Each lesson is also followed by a challenge to complete. I love that I can practice the small bits learned after each segment.
I loved this workshop! There was a lot of information, but the course was laid out simply and clearly so that every lesson built on what had come before it. The community was very welcoming and supportive. I'm excited to continue learning with SheCodes!
I very much enjoyed taking part in the workshop, the combination of the tutorials and the challenges was a great way for me to learn and practice at the same time.

Once again, the work shop went straight to the point, the challenges were always useful to check understanding and gave hands-on experience. The final project has been channelling and a great one; all the tools and techniques taught gave freedom and made it possible to display the skills learned and create something so practical and interesting.

I really enjoyed this workshop, I learnt much more advanced JavaScript and even AI integration which was really cool to see it functional. Overall this was a SUPER useful workshop even covering professional web-developer workflow/platforms/Bootstrap. I'm super happy wth my final product and am looking forward to the next workshop with SheCodes!

This workshop has done a lot to help develop my skills with software development. It is approachable, and I actually feel like the skills I learned are applicable to projects I am interested in.
As someone who is very interested in tech and bringing ideas to life, but also a newbie to coding, this beginner 3-week course was very informative to learning the basics and feeling like I now have a better idea of what goes on behind the scenes. I really enjoyed it, and would recommend to anyone interested!
This might sound super old school, but back before we had Facebook, back in the late 90's, there was a social media network called "Asian Avenue", this was where I first learn how HTML. However, as the years gone by that platform went away and I ended up getting a master degree in Accounting in 2017. During the last few years, we have been in quarantine, and I wanted to learn something new. I thought to myself, "Why not get back into learning HTML and coding". I found SheCodes, and I really enjoy it, especially how easy the videos were to follow and understand. As I continue to do these challenges and projects, I have been rethinking where I wanted to go with my career. This has opened a new chapter in my life, and I think I may want to explore more technical roles and perhaps use my accounting skills on the way. I am very happy I took the time to get back into this! Thank you SheCodes for making this such a fun learning experience!
This is my first time experiencing BootCamp. The total experience was so cool and the lectures were so good, I never felt bored at any point. I would surely recommend anyone who is interested in learning to code to join SheCodes. The Delac Foundation helped me to pursue my passion for code. A whole 10/10 experience.

I've always been curious about coding, and this was a great introduction! The lesson videos are easy to follow along, and the homework assignments do a great job of being easy to understand but still be just challenging enough to bring out your own creativity. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn some basic coding skills, and I hope to be able to continue my journey in the future!
SheCodes has been so great for me because of how I learn as an individual. Matt really makes things easy to understand and helps you to build components on your own. I like that for each video you watch there is a challenge to make sure you are completing the challenge correctly. SheCodes really wants you to succeed in coding!

SheCodes Basics has unlocked a love for coding and a new career path for me. I should have done this long ago! I've tried learning code in a traditional college setting and I can honestly say I've learned more in the past three weeks than I ever learned in my previous attempts during college. Matt's instructions are always easy to follow and support is always available from peers and technical experts through Slack. I cannot wait to continue to the more advanced courses. If you're on the fence about learning code or don't know where to start, try SheCodes! You won't regret it.
I started this workshop with zero code knowledge, and I can't believe how much I learned in these three weeks. The instructions were very clear and super easy to learn. It's great that you can organise your time to complete lessons and challenges. It was all new for me, but it was super fun. I advise everyone to do it, you will not regret it.
Going into coding blindly, I have learned so much and have really enjoyed it! Matt goes step by step and his videos are so easy to follow. Cannot wait to continue on my coding journey!

Every time I reach the end of a course my excitement levels go through the roof. The responsive course was the perfect time to put all the skills and techniques I have learned so far into practice. I am feeling more and more ready to jump into the developer world! Bring on the final course!
Plus is definitely more challenging than Basicsπ. I enjoyed learning about APIs - it's really impressive that the end product is a working website using real-time data :)
Love that Matt walks you logically through each step of the coding fundamentals. It's super beginner-friendly and the challenges that follow each exercise help to put to practice what you learn. The SheCodes team is amazing and very prompt in answering general questions about the workshop as well as troubleshooting when you get stuck (which you inevitably will, but that's all part of the coding process!).
I tried many years ago to develop Front-End skills, but after HTML and CSS I felt overwhelmed and - without a real project - just stuck. Then I got a real possible project to work on at my job. At the same time I bumped into SheCodes. It was love at first sight! My company and my university helped me out and I just started. With SheCodes one can find not only a really clear and project-driven learning environment, but also a community of people ready to expose their wins and failures, mistakes and eurekas... I even met some of my fellows in real life, sharing this passion and trying to do better all together :D Now it is possible for me to play with JavaScript, APIs, hosting platforms and GitHub. Just amazing what you can achieve in some months! Looking forward to complete the next steps!
It was a incredible workshop. I learned a lot about responsive design and seo. For sure, it was an important step to develop my tech skills.

I really enjoyed the learning experience. It was much easier than I thought it would be. I'll be joining the 3 month + react program.
It was amazing to learn something new and discover a new passion! I could never imagine that in a 3 weeks time I would be able to build my own mini website as well! The classes were so easy to understand and follow, it was also greatly designed to fit in in my busy working schedule. I am looking forward to start Shecodes React course soon and maybe take that knowledge into transition into a new career!

I'm amazed how much I have learned within the past few months. The wonderful team that answers so many questions for me and guides me through codes with an explanation that are so detailed. Definitely the most challenging SheCodes workshop. It helped me to understand how React works, how complex and powerful it is. I think it was a great introduction to React, but there is so much learning and independent practicing to do. It feels amazingly rewarding, yet already a bit sad that half year of SheCodes journey has come to an end for me. Thank you Matt and the whole team!

I couldn't believe that I could build my very own weather app within just a few weeks. Matt makes it very easy to understand and the team is very helpful and answer question promptly. I recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn building websites and coding effectively.
This was such a fun course, although the java script weeks earlier on were a huge learning curve, it's amazing to see how far you come at the end. What a wonderful class! I had great fun learning (and struggling) with the projects but being able to review the videos over and see the questions that other coders had on slack was a tremendous help. I would highly recommend the whole SheCodes series.
Yet another mile stone for me as I complete the SheCodes responsive workshop with shecodes.io. If asked when I started, if I was going to achieve these much just within a couple of weeks, I would have doubted it hands down. But matt brought in the magic wand in his teaching technics and all of a sudden βeverything is possible if you put your mind to it. lolβ To all the SheCodes team, an ocean full of thanks for making this a reality. One thing I am taking to till the end of this career part that I have chosen is that, learning is constant, and to that, I say, On to the next phase.

When I was a teenager, I loved trying to build websites - however, it was all about trial and error (when internet was still starting...). Fast forward to today, here I am, officially learning how to code. I am really happy I found the SheCodes Workshops. I am definitely going to keep on developing in my journey in coding.

Being surrounded by family and friends in software, I've always thought coding was mysterious and intimidating. A couple years ago, I started working in tech as a Project Manager and recently decided I wanted to expand my skillset. The woman-centered community and beginner first approach of SheCodes made coding feel attainable and I'm so proud of what I've learned in the past three weeks.
After completing the SheCodes Basics course I was so excited to start learning front end development. SheCodes Plus was so informative and I learned a lot. I never thought I would be coding my own weather app. If you are thinking about taking any of these courses I would say do it now! It's always good to gain new skills. I had so much fun and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
I've learnt so much more than I thought I could in a few short weeks! I've gone from having very limited knowledge of coding, to feeling confident enough to produce my own code, and troubleshoot issues. The more challenging tasks have ultimately been the most rewarding, and the Slack community has been a great way of sharing the learning experience, sometimes it's nice to know you're not the only one that has a troublesome element that won't align!

My friend took the 3-week course and mentioned it to me. We both work in tech for different companies. Coding is something I've always been interested in doing, but it intimidated me. It seemed so complex and overwhelming. Matt and the whole team do a terrific job of breaking it down, just like learning a new language. I'm so glad my friend brought this course to me. It's great that you can set your own space completing this workshop, and I would have never thought that I would lose myself in coding for hours and hours because I wanted to learn more and more. The videos are easy to follow and Matt provides great tips. I've done some other online courses about HTML and CSS in the past, but I was never able to find the right commitment. The challenges and homework at SheCodes changed that. I'm very proud of the end result!

I used to self-study Javascript and HTML/CSS, and because of my experience, I knew I needed to find a place where someone could teach me a more concrete foundation. I chose SheCodes because it felt comfortable to me knowing other women around my age wanted to develop a new skill that wasn't in their current repertoire. The BASICS package was very easy to go through - especially because I had prior knowledge, but I did learn a few other things while going through each lesson and doing each assignment. I think it was nice to hear a few tips from Matt and how actual developers might do some basic coding.

I have learned and made great progress throughout this course! I am so proud of how far I've come since starting SheCodes Basics with absolutely no knowledge of coding. I feel comfortable with concepts of coding that I was scared of before! The lessons being split up into shorter segments really helps to grasp the concepts and from feeling overwhelmed. It is also simple to follow along with Matt's lessons at my own pace and if there is an issue I can not figure out myself, the technicians are prompt to provide help on the Slack chat. I would definitely encourage others step out of their comfort zone and give SheCodes a try!

SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than Basic. I learned a lot and I am proud of what I have created! I am not a designer by any means but happy I was able to code a functional app. There is a lot more that goes into creating even the most basic elements than I thought. I have lots to learn.
For someone with zero coding or IT background, I enjoyed this Basic workshop more than I thought I would even with the challenges I faced. I am very keen to learn more in the advanced workshops.

I've tried several different ways to learn to code and from the beginning I knew I would love it, but I never really found one that clicked until SheCodes. Incredibly easy to follow along and go at your own pace, the program is obviously well thought out and geared towards beginners. Even my friend, a long time programmer, was impressed with the progress I made in just three weeks. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their foot in the door of coding.
