I would definitely recommend this program to a friend or a family as I have learn quite alot.

The video included with each lesson was very helpful. I wish each lesson came with literature explaining WHY each of those commands yields its specific function. If I am indeed learning a language, the purpose of certain commands is important to understand more than memorize.

I enjoyed the workshop a lot. Even though it was a hughe challenge and it sometimes felt like I am learning too much - my head was almost exploding! But Matt explained everything step by step and I could jump to a previous video to get an explanation again. I can highly recommend this beginner workshop!

Great course to learn the basics of coding!

SheCodes is a great learning tool for anybody wanting to start their coding journey! I really liked that I was able to create a portfolio at the end of my coding journey. This portfolio demonstrates the skills that I have learned.

SheCodes Basics is great if you want to learn the basics but I have to confess that I was expecting a little bit more. I believe there's room for improvement regarding the training structure/methodology.

SheCodes Plus has been an amazing experience! The lessons are structured in a way I believe really helps you to gain an understanding of each particular topic, but most of all they are easy to understand and exciting to complete. I feel like I have learned so much during this workshop! I can't quite believe that just over a month ago I had no clue what each different coding language did and now I have built a weather app! I am so grateful to SheCodes for their fantastic workshops which have helped me secure my first role as a junior software developer! I can't wait to dive right into the next workshop!

I'm so glad I took this course!!...I have learned so much over such a short period of time!!!!...I have been wanting to change my career. This course has opened up so many new opportunities for me!!... I look forward to learning more in my next class with Matt!!!

I appreciate the structured classes that give you a chance to practice what you learn by coding in challenges and finally in weekly homework assignments. Matt has a good teaching style that shows you how to approach coding assignments and test to see if its working in a step by step manner that I think beginners, and those that might just jump in or are a bit further along in their coding journey can appreciate. When you don't know the first thing about coding, it is beneficial to have that guidance. I found that his calm approach to problems/error messages that popped up in the console while coding had an affect on me, reminding me to be calm in approaching challenges in the future as I try to figure out the solution. It was beneficial to hear that it's not something we have to freak out over.

This course was awesome! Matt has such a great way of explaining things in a way that make it very clear and easy to understand. The format with small videos on individual topics, so you learn one concept at a time is great.

It was a very fun journey to learn coding through this workshop with SheCodes. Every challenge of each lesson helped me a lot to understand more. I enjoyed it and I'm very excited to continue this journey.

Thanks to SheCodes and the whole team. These months were so great and I learned so much in such a short time. I always wanted to get more inside into the coding world and struggled to find the right set up. With SheCodes I finally could find the right structure. I really appreciated the weekly learnings with listening and then directly practicing the new learned topics in small challenges, bigger homeworks and finally also projects. A few lessons were not my cup of tea to be honest and made me sweat but once you break through those (with taking a LOT of breaks in between), a whole new world opens up. That is how I can sum up the Plus workshop. I've learnt a lot and never been happier for signing up for this one! So looking forward to the next workshop!

I came to SheCodes as a complete novice. And while I won't say I'm an expert, the video lessons and community support allow students to learn confidence in a supportive and clear environment.

This workshop really helped fill in some gaps in my learning when it came to responsive design. I am excited to see this bring my work to the next level.

It was so fun learning coding through this workshop! 🙌🏻 I learned a lot and had an amazing experience! Each exercise had informative videos and challenges paired with each one which was a great way to practice along the way. 10 out of 10 recommend!

This workshop is very suitable for beginners. Matthieu also gave many of his own tips along the way. I liked that there were exercises to complete after each lessons so that we could practice it and they were not simply copies of what was taught in the lesson. I also liked the breakdown of lessons and the appealing color/style of the entire workshop. Can't wait to continue my journey with SheCodes! Just take note that if you are a slow-er learner like me, you could be taking more than the stipulated hours a week.

I am extremely glad I did this workshop and it was absolutely worth it. I had a great time learning a new skill and exploring options for my career.

I have been wanting to join the world of coding for a long time and was not sure where to begin. I have always felt extreme trepidation around coding because it was something I just assumed I would not be able to do. I took a chance and came to a workshop and now I have to admit I am hooked. The workshops challenge me in a way that I have been looking for and I am proud of my journey so far. I cannot wait for the next set of workshops and to learn more.

There was a fair bit of debugging and JavaScript, so patience is needed. But React is a lot of fun and once you've got an app running, it changes your mindset especially all the times you might have pulled your hair out. Matt walks through everything so it's clear how things are done and why it's done that particular way. Highly recommend this learning path and SheCodes!

I had a lot of fun learning coding. Lesson are simple, fun and effective. Matt is great and fun instructor. And if you need help, you can get it from excellent instructors and other students. I did not feel like I was only learning, but that I was part of something great. I am so happy I did this.

I've been trying to start learning code for a few years and each time stopped because it was overwhelming, boring, difficult and the end result was a little black screen with "hello world" written on it. SheCodes changed the whole picture for me. Not only I enjoyed the workshop, I also intend to finish all the available workshops. The whole learning process was fun, easy to learn, empowering and the end result is stunting. I honestly never thought I could build something like that.

The program was easy to understand and enjoyable. I feel that I learned a good deal, and have a much better understanding of the field of programming and what front vs. back-end developing is (I came here with zero background). I look forward to continuing to learn.

I have really enjoyed learning about React and I am excited for the next stage of my coding journey. I'm so sad that my learning with SheCodes is now over but I am really inspired to keep learning about React and hopefully find a job in this field!

I think Matt does an excellent job of teaching the basics and providing you with the knowledge base to be able to go learn the rest! My only complaint is that I can't learn more languages from him and that this is the last class!

It's amazing how much you can learn in only 3 weeks. It was all really well explained, I enjoyed the videos and exercises so much. Also had a lot of fun with the final project.

I really enjoyed SheCodes Responsive, it was a good addition to things I've learned before and great fun! I loved playing around with different layouts and even though it was sometimes frustrating if it didn't do what I wanted it to do, that feeling you get when you finally figure it out - it's the best!

A great way to learn basic coding! The videos are easy to follow but are filled with information. You really learn a lot in a short amount of time.

I feel like a have learned so much about front end development and API integration in just 8 weeks. It is great that the course is very hands-on, where you have to do everything on your own. 🙌 As a UX Designer & Business Analyst it is great, to get insight of what developers work with on a daily basis. The technical understanding will help me a lot when having to describe requirements for IT solutions in the future. 👩🏾‍💻

SheCodes Plus was a great workshop to learn different tips and tricks in developing a weather app.

I have learned so much valuable skills with all these workshops. My husband also went through a frontend bootcamp but didn't not learn half the things I was able to learn here. I am so grateful for this program and am excited to see how my career will go.

I have only done the basics 3 week course and already so comfortable and confident with HTML, CSS and JS. I can't wait to continue and learn more and make the much wanted career change.

My way through SheCodes was the right and necessary one, I have done everything from the beginning to the end, project after project from the basic level to the final project in React, and don't see how fast the time has passed, now I am able to find a place in the various projects that exist near me, and at the moment I am learning to work in a team of people with more tracks involved, this is another major challenge, to develop ideas. Want to learn coding to focus on a new career path in something that I enjoy. SheCodes is such a great website and new way of learning, I'm so glad its flexible as I can work around my part time job and my two small children. Great for me to do while on maternity at the moment. The learning is so simple and easy to follow for something that seems complicated and can be frustrating at points.

I started my coding journey 6 months ago with SheCodes Basics and 6 months later I got my SheCodes Plus, SheCodes Responsive and even SheCodes React certificate! Thank you SheCodes Workshops and Mattieu (Matt) Delac Aussaguel! A few weeks ago I enrolled in SheCodes Basics, learnt the basics of HTML, CSS and Javascript. Lessons were well structured with plenty of resources and workshop videos were easy to follow. Challenges and homeworks were completed in a safe and supportive environment. Such a fun and easy way to learn coding! Only a few weeks and this is what I was able to achieve! Happy to have been able to learn and add a new skill!

This has been cleverly organised to curate the much-needed basic skills from a world of endless possibilities. It's a great way to kick-start the transition into this field. There is so much more to learn! Can't wait for the rest of the workshops.

I found the learning style worked perfectly for me - being able to go back and watch the lessons as needed helped a lot when completing the challenges. The bite sized lessons meant I could pace myself and take breaks if I began having trouble concentrating. I loved participating in this course and can't wait to begin the next one!

After seven years working for big corporations in logistic I have started my biggest project which is my family. I have two wonderful little kids which are actually owners of all my time. I am looking for new challenges in new areas (not to become completely crazy ) and coding was one of the things which I have always wanted to learn. SheCodes provides a program which is perfect for busy woman like all mothers are. I am super happy that i have decided to invest into that workshop. I am going to continue in studying because I find this area perfect for my future career.

SheCodes Responsive has been a very interesting yet challenging course. Learning how to make websites responsive is really important now as more and more people begin to use their mobile devices for daily browsing on the internet. It's crucial that our projects are able to be modified to look and work well across all devices. I am much more comfortable now that I have this skill in my toolbox and will continue to practice and improve my abilities. I would definitely recommend this course to everyone who wants to become more knowledgeable in front-end development.
