I have had an amazing experience learning how to code through the SheCodes Basics course. When I started , I was worried that I might not be smart enough to learn how to code however the support from the SheCodes team together with the flexibility of the course have made the prospect of learning the basics of html CSS and JavaScript over the course of three weeks when I knew nothing about coding prior less over whelming and extremely enjoyable. Our instructor Matt presented the work to us in a way that was very easy to grasp and the practical component of each lesson helped with my progress and made learning a lot more fun. I didn't know anything about coding and the world of websites, html, css, and java script, and I had only heard that they are used in website design. After completing the basic shecode course, the concepts have completely settled in my mind and I enjoyed learning them a lot - it was a comprehensive course. Both in terms of questions and slack groups and Mr. mac's videos and the whole shecoded platform. In the end of each week project section and its timing and The challenges helped me a lot in understanding and learning and it is a world away from watching videos on YouTube!
I really enjoyed learning about React! I like to re-watch and reference the videos from time to time too which is very helpful!

After completing the SheCodes Max Front-End course, I decided to expand my skills by exploring backend development. Unfortunately, my first attempt with the IBM backend course on Coursera didnβt work for my learning style, leaving me discouraged about the backend path.
