Another milestone achieved! Before starting SheCodes Responsive I never thought I could have learned this much. It was like diving into the coding world in the real meaning. I really appreciate Matt's teaching methods and his support group on Slack are just awesome. Now comes a very nice feeling of accomplishment and so much excitement for upcoming workshops.

Learning the basics of coding was incredibly easy with SheCodes! I love how the courses are structured with challenges to do every step along the way and the deadlines also help to keep myself motivated (I have ADHD so this is actually really important for people like me). I train customer service reps in the financial sector and I feel like this method of learning should be applied everywhere as it's incredibly effective. I'm excited for SheCodes Plus! π
Learning how to code with SheCodes is much more easier than I thought. It is an amazing experience and I strongly recommend SheCodes to all women around the world!
I'm not going to lie this was very difficult and frustrating for me but I did enjoy doing the final project. Learning HTML, CSS and especially JavaScript was way harder then I expected. I honestly can't wait tell it's over. It's not going to over soon because I paid for React. Should have started small, my own fault.
SheCodes has been a great experience. A very friendly interphase and a great tutor as well! I look forward to the next stage of learning.

I am a school bus driver that was desperate for a change in life. Through SheCodes, I have gained access to the tech world and have learned something that I thought was impossible to learn!
It is often interpreted that to code, you need to go into a specific field, or you need to be good in math, but that is not true! I am not studying any coding-related degree or am not good at math. I came across SheCodes and I thought that I wanted to learn to code because it is a good skill to have, and I should give it a try. I am so happy that I made that choice and from the comfort of my home, got to learn how to code, and understand everything. I am so grateful for Matt, and all the technical support staff at SheCodes to make SheCodes a place to empower women from across the globe to learn coding and to use it in their career and life.
I really enjoyed this course. It is definitely a game changer for people like me who want to learn how to code and need a little instruction to help understand the basics.
Matt teaches step by step instruction and assignments makes the process of learning something that look so complicated possible.
I really, really enjoyed this workshop. I had started coding at University, where I had various courses on HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I found the material complicated in how it was taught and often struggled to keep up. Being apart of SheCodes has really boosted my confidence with coding, and made me realise I can do it, just with the right teacher! Matt's lessons have been enjoyable and made coding fun to learn. I definitely would recommend this course to anyone with a keen interest in coding.

I've been wanting to learn how to code for a year now, but I have never managed to take serious steps towards this goal since I didn't have a clear path in my mind. SheCodes Basics helped me to learn the basics of front-end development and showed me that it is not as scary as it seems to be. Overall, I had so much fun with this workshop and I am looking forward to taking the next workshops!
I had so much fun learning the basics of coding alongside Matt. Each video is clear, short, and easy to digest. The weekly homework assignments keep you accountable and the slack channel makes it easy to get help 24/7! I can't wait to keep learning more

This was a great course! The website is very organized and easy to follow. I was able to finish all 3-weeks of material in just one week! I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn coding or enhance their skills.
The structure of the SheCodes Basics workshop is very organised and Matt's explanations are clear and understandable. I enjoyed the small challenges after every topic because it also shows me whether I understood what I just learned. Also, I like that there is a Slack channel where we can communicate with other students as well as ask questions when needed. Though it is an online workshop, it feels personal due to the engagement of the students and the SheCodes team.
I am from Venezuela and currently live in Berlin. I was motivated to learn basic coding so that I could understand more of why its being so popular. I really enjoyed this workshop as its really easy to follow, and it helped me to gain more motivation and improve my creative senses. Self-paced learning fit me perfectly as it gives the opportunity to manage my schedule and train self-discipline.
SheCodes Basic - Highly recommend for everyone that wants to see if they would like coding. Lessons are well explained and from time to time you will get a challenge to find something out by yourself which is a great way to learn.

I'm a digital designer and I've been trying to learn Javascript for a long time. No course has been as clear and practical as the SheCodes Plus. I've manage to replicate the features I learned in the lessons plus get a better understanding of the language to be able to create and add my own.

I wanted to start learning coding, but couldn't find a workshop that seemed intuitive to follow and fun at the same time, until I found SheCodes. SheCodes had me having fun while learning. I learned a lot :)
I joined the SheCodes Basic workshop partly for fun, but also to learn some new skills in an effort to future proof my career. I felt a little nervous when it was due to start - would I be able to keep up? Was it going to be too complex? Would I just end up finding it boring? I didn't need to worry, as I found that the short and sharp videos from Matt were the perfect length to teach the fundamentals without being overwhelming, and I ended up really enjoying the challenges and project. I would often find myself losing track of time because I was so engrossed in what I was doing. I'm going on to SheCodes Plus shortly and really looking forward to seeing where my newfound basic skills will take me!
As a complete beginner I learned a lot with the easy to follow videos and assignments!
This was a fun and hands-on course. It is very easy to follow and a fun learning experience that does not take a lot of time!

This course was amazing! I learned a lot about how to make web pages responsive & SEO friendly, which is going to be very helpful in the future. The lessons are easy to follow along with, and I now have a portfolio that I can continue to update when I have more SheCodes projects!

Amazing hands-on training. Because they teach you how to test and visualize your code it is fun to play around while learning. Would not recommend just this workshop but the whole package > Shecodes PLUS.
As a beginner the SheCodes workshop was an amazing way to get started in coding. I knew nothing about coding before I started and I'm surprised at how much I was able to learn in such a short time, thanks to Matt and the rest of the team! I would totally recommend this to anyone with an interest in coding, design or computers.

I am honestly satisfied with this course since I had tried to learn coding before knowing about the SheCodes, but just I got confused and scared of huge data out there. I appreciate this well-organized curriculum which gave me the confidence to be able to follow this path.
It was really fun to learn React with SheCodes, it's very challenging, but still a very enjoyable experience. The support team is amazing, super quick to answer our doubts and always willing to help us to get into the next step of coding.
I enrolled in the Basic SheCodes course as one of the first steps in my transition from financier to IT. The course turned out to be another confirmation that expanding knowledge in this direction is a good decision. The course was very interesting. Short videos ending with tasks allow me to see rapid learning progress, even for first-time βweb developers :)β. However, for me, the greatest added value was learning to search the Internet for additional information about HTML, CSS, or Javascript. It will allow me to easily and enjoyably improve my knowledge, even after the course.
Programming was always kinda in the back of my head. I has started one years before SheCode and once I did, I have learn a lot about coding,the course is fast and you will learn a lot. SheCodes impressed me. Being able to understand those infinite lines of code. Coding was something I knew I wanted to be able to know.
It is easy to learn and everyday I feel I am learning new things. I am doing projects which I never thought I could do before.
It has been a challenge each day but the reward is even greater when I can use what I have learnt.

SheCodes helped me a lot to brush up my deteriorating HTML, CSS and JSS skills. I really liked that the videos are short but include a challenge which is really good to get your hands-on. Especially for me because I'm quite impatient, don't learn well from videos and want to get started right away, the course structure was very helpful for me. It was a great experience and a good balance between flexibility and sticking to the schedule. I'll do all workshops at SheCodes because I want to become better in Front-End Development and I would recommend the Basics workshop for everyone, no matter if you already know some basics or just want to figure out whether it's something for you or not. As always learning with SheCodes is simply fun! The videos and challenges are perfectly divided into manageable bits and the course material is so nicely structured, clear and straightforward. Matt is very good in explaining the topics and the team helping via Slack is just doing a fantastic job. What makes this so enjoyable is that you can move forward at your own pace while still feeling perfectly guided. It's so great to see the progress when building towards a final project and being able to shape your own ideas with CSS and Bootstrap in this course!
These weeks have been much fun, I can't wait to keep learning how to improve my code.
