Never have I ever sit down for 3 hours straight just to study or learn something. Well I guess now I know what I really love to do. Matt Delac is so good at explaining everything. He teach us one by one, and he even show the solution after we submit our homework. Such a great guy with a great team. When I'm stuck and need help, the team they help us straight away. React is not easy; however, the key concepts will be repeated over and over again during the building of the projects throughout the course. You will eventually get used to it and maybe even get the hang of it . This course is packed with information. I like how Matt always gets straight to the point and teaches you the most practical basics. And he is not afraid of showing his mistakes while lecturing coding. I appreciate that, so I can also learn from his mistakes. I am glad I took this course; otherwise, I wouldn't know I like React better than JavaScript.

It was an interesting workshop. I really liked working on the final project and applied everything I've learned before.
This is the third workshop I have completed for SheCodes and the amount of confidence I have gained from completing them is unreal. I absolutely love the whole platform and I enjoy learning and watching myself grow as a developer. This project was the first I felt I had a good grip on what was happening and it was all thanks to the lessons by SheCodes that I was able to create a project to truly feel proud of.

Very happy that I took the chance to try out the Plus program. It is great to see such a great progress from having zero coding skills to developing a weather API interface in such a short amount of time! It was a tough 8 weeks but very productive at the same time. There are lots to learn and you will feel stuck, but the staff is always there to help.
It was quite a journey for me from the beginning until React. I can see that there's still a long way to go on this path which I'd like to keep going and try my best. I've learned a lot from the courses and they made me realize that there's nothing too hard to learn as long as you give it time. Thanks to Matt and team who made this a nice journey!
It was a meaningful journey for a beginner like me to learn React, one of the most promising and popular tools in the IT field, and to make the actual application. It was difficult to understand at first but as I am making my own app with advice and guidance from Slack SheCodes community, I was not afraid of making mistakes. I feel it is still not enough to be confident but it is a good start.

I enjoyed a lot learning with Matt, he explains everything pretty well. The Slack is great to mitigate anxiety haha. I loved the flexible hours as well, makes everything easier and everyone can learn at their own pace. I'm thankful for finding SheCodes, the experience was great, I am looking forward to start the next courseπ.
Learning was really fun and engaging. I didn't expect to have this much fun with coding. I started out the basic course just to check out and found myself diving into the plus. It was very satisfying seeing my project come to life. Matt explains this stuff very simply and it's fun and inspiring.

It was a nice course! Very structured and it is very motivating as you have to submit the homework by the next week. It is explained really well. They have this really active community in Slack where you can ask questions if you need to. The certificate that proves that you completed the course is also an advantage. But I think the price is a bit high as there are other alternatives out there where you can learn this and more.

After finishing SheCodes Basic in December, I really enjoyed diving into an app environment and making it work. Because Basic was very easy for me, I underestimated the intensity of this course, but the team is super helpful and patient with every question you might have. I learnt a lot about JavaScript and although I normally work with Python, it was great to learn more JS. Before SheCodes I really struggled in connecting the dots in terms of front-end, back-end and full-stack but after every lecture you get this "aha moment". Even though I'm more a back-end person, it was super helpful for me build a first app from scratch. I'm looking forward to the next courses. βοΈπ₯°π»
Seeing my progress over the past few months has been so rewarding. This course really taught me about making a multiple page website that looks good on a laptop, tablet, and phone! Along with learning more about bootstrap. Matt and the team here are very helpful whenever you encounter any roadblocks. I have enjoyed my journey so far! Now onto the next course to learn about react. π€

I have really enjoyed this workshop. With the skills I have learned, the sky is the limit! Matt taught me things like elements and attributes, but the most important thing he taught me was how to solve problems that appear in your code by using universal resources. That skill is everlasting.

If you save properly you can always go back and relearn earlier that week or 2 weeks ago. I love how we applied everything we learn at the end of the course to create something beautiful, something on our own.

I learned so much in the responsive coding workshop. I was able to create a multipage website. I used bootstrap, and font awesome to decorate my page.

Prior to SheCodes I had zero working knowledge of code. This workshop made learning the fundamentals of code interesting and fun. As someone that works full time, the structure of this workshop made learning code very digestible. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of code with SheCodes.
I have always wanted to learn to code; at least basics. Before applying to SheCodes, I have tried couple other platforms but I used to get boring and gave up right after the first lesson.I was thinking that I will never be able to learn it. However, SheCodes workshops changed my whole perception. I loved it. Mat is a great teacher and he explains everything so clearly. The lessons are not overwhelming like others. The tasks are interesting and fun. The team is very supportive. I have enjoyed every single minute of passed three weeks. When I look at my codes, I feel so proud of how much I managed to learn. I feel that the challenges and assignments were well thought out and really encapsulated all aspects of what we were taught. Coming from a minimal tech background, I felt this course was easy to follow and the support from SheCodes staff was great. SheCodes has created a community that makes you feel like you're not in this alone.

The JavaScript was definitely challenging, but help was always available on Slack (shoutout to Bruno and JoΓ£o) βΊοΈ. I'm proud of my final project with real data! I have a much better understanding of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. Looking forward to learning more about JS in the responsive and react workshops.
This was a challenging course but in the end I feel I am a better coder! It was fun learning the different javascript functions and watching the app come to life because of it.
This workshop teaches complex techniques using react. At times it was difficult, however, using react turned out to be more fun and better for me than using pure JS. React also built more good habits since it's stricter as well. So even though learning it was a little frustrating at first, it soon become rewarding and worthwhile.
